[ He thinks about asking what games she's heard of, but it feels like it probably wouldn't actually help all that much in getting more information. The comment on it being a "real world" gets a laugh out of him though, and he ducks his head with a somewhat sad smile. ]

Mm. Every world is a real world, if you ask me. [ But that could get philosophical way quick, so he looks back up with a more curious look on his face now. ] Does anyone know why this one is snagging people up? Some kind of ultimate purpose for it?

That is what everyone is figuring out. Arrival, departure, home reality, are all at random, and even people from the same reality may be brought here from wildly different timepoints, and yet returned to our exact points in time without any memories of this place. Sometimes not even remembering we've been here before. And those that are from different species are somehow changed to be more in line with humanoid aesthetics and abilities.

[Yeah, it's... a trip.]

There are theories that this might be the work of Arceus, a "creator Pokémon" of sorts, but that guess is no better or worse than others at the moment.

[ Memory mishaps in both directions consistently happen with fluclight dives if they aren't executed properly and people are automatically adjusted to fit the world rather than the other way around. Okay, the whole thinking they're from other realities is a little weird, but maybe those are just AI thrown in to help with the realism. ]

Mm, yeah, that sounds right. [ He mutters that more to himself before he remembers that she's. Y'know. Still there and definitely able to hear him. ] Ah, I mean, that all... sounds pretty complicated to deal with. Seems weird that a creator Pokémon would want to gather people from around the universe just to have a good time, but I'm not exactly a poképsychologist or anything.

There are indeed. [No, really, that's a canon thing in the anime.] And ones for humans as well, should you require one. My friend Grant actually posted a list of them on the network a few weeks ago.

[Not that she thinks Kirito needs one for the "this world is just a game thing," really not, but she doesn't know what sort of life he's had before coming here.]

Actually, yeah. If you have that list, I'd definitely like to see it. These other worlds are usually pretty tough on people and it's probably better to get to know someone ahead of time so I won't be as hesitant to talk about it.
