Alright, alright. I get it. It's not... ideal. But since when is it ever? I'm starting to think getting stuck in games is just another Tuesday for us.

[lightnflash]

The question is how did we end up in this world and who is at fault this time.

I'm guessing that our memories were blocked to make it as difficult as possible to get answers to either of those.

Buuuut my bet's are on a crazy developer who doesn't understand just how many people would jump at the chance to live full-time in a Pokémon world.

[lightnflash]

They really need to vett their developers better. It's absolutely absurd that everything there is still a way to imprison players.

That's the problem with psychopaths, right? They'll always find a workaround to achieve their goals. The security measures on the Amusphere were pretty impressive, at least, and people have said we don't have to worry about dying in this world, so there are some positives.

[lightnflash]

No matter the cost to others.

I'm glad that no one can die here. Though I don't know if that will push the players into being complacent. I just hope we won't be here for another two years, let alone...what, two hundred? I just want to go home.

I think even without the threat of death, plenty of people will want to go back to where they came from. But it's okay in the meantime to enjoy the opportunity, no matter how long it lasts.

Except the 200 years. I'd... really like to not go through that again either.

[lightnflash]

[ She lets out a sigh. ] I'm never going to graduate high school and get out of my parent's house.

If it helps any, it sounds like the accelerated time ratio is up pretty high and that people who spend years here only have a few seconds at most pass at home, so it only feels like it's gonna take forever.

Well, even if this is reality for right now, it's still an annoyance.

So what's the point of this whole place anyway? I know you've been dying to tell me everything.

The point seems to be a little lost on everyone, at least when it comes to why we're here. But what to do here... That's a totally different story. Obviously the ultimate goal of any Pokémon game is to collect as many as possible and earn gym badges and become the best trainer that's ever existed in the history of the Pokéverse, and I guess that if you're listed as a trainer, than that's probably your goal here, too. Which I am. By the way. And I'm going to be. The best, I mean.

Breeders are different and have different goals and then there's always Team Rocket, but unless they sold it to you as a really awesome guild, I can't imagine you'd join. You're not the villain type.
