Well, assuming that you have sleeves that can accommodate to begin with--the very smallest known Pokemon is still easily yhe size of a person's fist...

*give him a moment, this requires a bit more thought than sort the 'dex by size and filtering for the desired move*

Probably Salandit, really. It's a bit larger, about as long as your arm, but most of that is just long body and tail. So if you could teach it to lay flat, gripping your arm, it could probably manage.

Another possibility may be Inkay. They're smaller than Salandit, and if I recall quite good at squeezing into small spaces, but I'm not certain how well one would be able to hold on in the right position.

*see, you never know what you might learn if you ask!*

[Give him a few moments while he looks up Salandit and Inkay. He'll also glance over Fletchling's information too.]

I think Salandit would suit my needs the best.

If a Fletchling is fully evolved, can it support a human on its back?

Its final form is usually a bit smaller than an adult, however, once it learns the move Fly--that is, a specific technique by that name, not flying in general--it's fully capable of carrying someone, yes.

And can still breathe fire.

[Hell, YES.]

Thank you for your advice. You've been helpful.

Yes. Though take care in what you ask it to do while riding it, as it may not be able to effectively both carry you and use another attack at the same time.

*which is possibly just common sense but you never know!*

You're quite welcome.
singlespacedad: (???)

[personal profile] singlespacedad 2022-02-14 05:17 pm (UTC)(link)
[So catch two, so he can ride one while having the other one breathe fire everywhere. Duly noted.]

You've been here for awhile, then.
dreamsofahero: (morning news)

[personal profile] dreamsofahero 2022-02-14 05:25 pm (UTC)(link)
*that is definitely an option! Also blah blah badges and ride pagers and so on, but really he'll probably learn that as he works on getting the right 'mons in the first place*

About a decade now, yes. If you're concerned about what you may be missing in your own world, you needn't worry; the passage of time here has no effect on that of other worlds.
singlespacedad: (look up)

[personal profile] singlespacedad 2022-02-15 12:05 pm (UTC)(link)
[A decade is a long time in a bounty hunter's world; Mando isn't even sure he'll be alive in ten years. To spend ten years in this place is almost incomprehensible.]

[He doesn't answer Sion right away, and when he eventually does, there's a palpable tinge of relief in his voice.
]

So for as long as I'm here, time stands still back home. That's good to know.

[He has a big season finale fight waiting for him. He'd hate to miss it.]
dreamsofahero: (telling it straight)

[personal profile] dreamsofahero 2022-02-15 02:28 pm (UTC)(link)
*Sion knows that feeling, he has a lot of unfinished business back home, himself*

Indeed. And I can personally attest to that being the case, as I and two others from my world initially arrived here both at different times and from different times. Yet there was never an instance of someone being missing from our world.
singlespacedad: (cute head tilt)

[personal profile] singlespacedad 2022-02-15 04:56 pm (UTC)(link)
So sometimes people get sent back home? And then taken back here?

[Fascinating! But more to the point...]

Multiple people from the same world can show up? Is there a way to trigger having someone brought here?
dreamsofahero: (generic back of head shot)

[personal profile] dreamsofahero 2022-02-15 06:39 pm (UTC)(link)
Those are all possibilities, yes. Unfortunately there is no apparent pattern to it, however, nor any way to know what causes or controls it.
singlespacedad: (holding grogu)

[personal profile] singlespacedad 2022-02-16 11:59 am (UTC)(link)
Unfortunate.

[He knows it's selfish, but Mando would feel better about all this if Grogu was here with him. The little guy would probably love all the animals here, and all the different things to eat.]
dreamsofahero: (sigh)

[personal profile] dreamsofahero 2022-02-16 04:39 pm (UTC)(link)
Indeed.

*there's a fair few people back home that Sion hasn't seen in literally years*

Is there anything else you'd like to know about this place, for now?
singlespacedad: (driving)

[personal profile] singlespacedad 2022-02-18 02:21 pm (UTC)(link)
No. You've given me some things to think about.

Thank you for your time.
