Galra. It is race from where I am from.

Thank you. I'm sure that I will have questions. I haven't had a chance to check if I still have the same physical skills as before. I would imagine it is different now.

[ Rainer has only heard the name "Galra" once, in Allura's memory. And even then, it was only referred to in passing, as "the Galra scourge." So she assumes this person must come from the same plane of existence, or at least one that's similar enough to have the same races, but she's not going to make any other prejudgements based on that alone. ]

I'm unfamiliar with what Galra are normally capable of, but you'll find that any abilities you had before, any magic or quirk or power... If a normal human doesn't have it, then it's likely gone.

[To be fair, he probably would have referred to something along those lines as well. Such was being a resistance fighter in the middle of a war. But since he didn't know this, it was something he wouldn't bring up]

I had only one such ability that might be considered a quirk. The rest seem to be all things that humans would have been capable of, just not at the same level that I had trained to be.

What kind of training? Are you a fighter?

[ Even though it's largely become clear to Rainer by now that most worlds don't use the same sort of classification of skills as hers, it's still what she defaults to. ]

I was. I was trained in physical combat. Agility was something that I was good at so I am unsure how this change will effect that.

[Not going to mention it was for a rebel group that was trying to take down the Empire. Not something that anyone really needed to know]

As long as your agility levels aren't supernaturally enhanced somehow, I don't see why you shouldn't be as agile as you ever were. Though, there's less call for people to fight in this plane than there are in most other ones. Pokemon fight all our battles for us.

I suppose that is true. But I would prefer to not to lose that even if the convention is for pokemon to fight. I have seen a few already battling. For the moment, we are sitting here.

[He was not necessarily in a big hurry to jump into fighting though he was sure Poochyena would have no complaints about given what he had seen in only this short time]
