When the berry is offered to her though, she takes it with a smile.]
Thank you, young man.
[She offers the Flabébé the berry, who takes it in her little hands and smells it, taking a small bite out of it and doing a pirouette.]
I think she likes it! Where did you get it from?
no subject
[Really, it's not as he gives a smile, and he's behaving himself since he doesn't know when Iwaizumi would suddenly appear and throw something at him for being a pest.
The Flabébé enjoying the berry is a nice sight though, confirming what he's been thinking about different species.]
Some of the Pokémon find them while walking with you, but they grow on some trees too. They have healing powers too, for the Pokémon.

[She looks at the cute doggy looking pokémon this boy has, and then at her precious Flabébé and raises her visible eyebrow.]
Why do they need healing?
no subject
[That was something he had to wrap his head around when he arrived, not wanting to hurt his little Shinx, but he's gotten used to this as the new normal.]
But these berries heal them. So do medicines made for them and the Pokémon centers in each city.

[Are all these animals masochists?]
How do you know they're stronger though?

[One second, he needs to pull up that Pokédex of his to show what he's meaning, and pulls up the information on Shinx and its two evolutions and holds it out for her to look.
Then points at his Luxray.]
He used to be that small blue cat before he grew into what he is now.

That's really impressive! Will my little one transform too?
no subject
[More to himself than anything as he types the name in to look it up, this time now looking directly at her to give a nod and show the evolutionary line.]
It looks like it, but I've never trained one of them so I dunno how she'll go about it. Some of them apparently transform and grow in different ways.
