A curious predicament we find ourselves in, then. Though, it would seem we are not entirely helpless. We were, after all, blessed with guides of our own.

[He motions up to the Swablu on his head, who merely dusts a stray fallen leaf from Aymeric's shoulder.]

Yeah, I guess that's true. Someone wanted to see what would happen if we ended up here with these guys. I wonder why. Are we some overseer's entertainment, or will we be needed for something?

[He hoped the peace of this world wouldn't be at risk. It was so nice. But ... if this was like what he knew, there were bad guys out there looking to cause trouble....]

An unpleasant thought.

[But not wholly out of the question. His mind drifts to the work of his allies, toward the nigh-unseen perpetrators who orchestrated chaos at every turn. He considers Ishgard, and how it, too, had been puppeteered to the near brink.]

The best we can do is be on our guard, and to arm ourselves with whatever knowledge we can glean from those around us.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I've been trying to do. And to try to find out if there's some way to get home.

Efforts that have yet to bear fruit, judging by your earlier statements. Any noteworthy leads thus far?

I'm afraid not. It looks like people vanish at random and you're left to hope they were sent home.
