Oh wow that sure is. That sure is Aymeric de Borel on the cool network thing with a...bird? Nesting in his hair? That is the fluffiest looking bird in all the worlds, isn't it? That sure is Aymeric de Borel, Lord Speaker for the House of Lords and Lord Commander of the Temple Knights of Ishgard just. Here, all of a sudden. Just like G'raha was - er, is.
Wh. What does he say, he can't just leave the man adrift without answers, but not only does G'raha have so little of them himself, he's only really interacted with the other man briefly as a Scion, he's...he wouldn't recognize G'raha, probably, and it'll be awkward, and oh he wants to ask so many questions about the end of the Dragonsong War and particulars about the rebuilding of Ishgard and-
Okay, no. Breathe, G'raha. In through the nose, out through the mouth, and slowly. Then turn your video on.]
If there is a way to return to Eorzea, then it is not known to me. In truth, there is much about this star I have to learn, and I sadly cannot offer much knowledge of it. But in that, at least, I can offer some camraderie.
[It's gonna be okay Aymeric you'll be fiiine]

But there is another reason he recognizes the man. Though Aymeric suspected he might never truly understand the breadth of the business tended to by the Scions, as one of the leaders of the Alliance-turned-Grand-Company, he was certainly privy to more than the average soul. And by the Fury, how he had poured over the reports that had followed the Scions return from the so-called shard. From the First.
He would know G'raha Tia, formerly the Crystal Exarch and Savior of Aymeric's own personal champion, in an instant.]
I suppose I can rest at ease, knowing that I have not only a fellow Eorzean in my midst, but a Scion of the Seventh Dawn at that. [Aymeric's lips curl up, almost verging on a smirk.] It would seem fate will continue to keep us from having a proper meeting. Always business with our bunch, t'would seem.

(Being on a pedestal as a leader of men, though...always kind of terrifying. Just a little bit. Aymeric can relate, surely.)
So when he's greeted as such, very clearly recalled, you can just imagine in your mind's eye how his ears ought to perk up, had this world allowed him to keep them. How easily surprise and awe comes to his eyes and expression before he shakes himself a bit, embarrassed. Gods preserve, he always was an open book. Tamp it down a touch, would you?]
Always business, indeed. Er, though, it need not be business now, simply...a matter of getting one's bearings in a new world. If you would be amicable to the idea?
[Aaaugh he's babbling a bit, what even does that mean??]

Yet with this man, there was no need to doubt. His expression, his feelings, are clear as day - no guess work necessary. It warms Aymeric's heart, to see such a genuine display before him.]
I can only presume that you have been here longer than I. Thus, it would behoove me to defer to you when it comes to navigating this world. [He pauses, then allows a chuckle to escape his lips.] I suppose, though that when put that way it continues to sound of business. If you'll allow me to rephrase?
Full glad would I be to learn of this new world from you.

[Estinien's not the kind of man to waste his time making up stories or leading someone astray, and thus, if he says something is true, G'raha knows he can believe him. Aymeric, too, would already know that.]
And the second is that we are also accompanied by the Warrior of Light.

Then it would seem we are in truly good company. [Though, he does hesitate for a moment.] Or rather -- you are in good company. It seems I have some traveling to do.
[And Gods, does the thought excite him. It brings to mind fond memories of his youth, when he was but a simple knight, dispatched here and there across Coerthas. Yes, his mind does drift fretfully toward his people, but... Estinien had said that time had halted. Whatever happened here would be nothing more than a passing dream.
He could enjoy himself. He was allowed that much.]

[He can't exactly make demands of the literal Ancients that are part of the group, but he doesn't think G'rhyf or Estinien would be against doing something for Aymeric.]
