Well, all the animal collectively are Pokemon, but then there's different species. This is an Eevee.

[He holds up Evie, who warbles.]

And this is an Espurr.

[Elliott gives a blank stare.]

The one clinging to my neck is a Ralts.

[Cosmo shyly peeks over his shoulder.]

Yeah. I think I will try to find out more.

It definitely brings a celebrity status, so easier access to restaurants is probably part of it.

Are Eevees your favorite? This one is called a Spinda. Apparently, they have various spot patterns.

[Yes... money was definitely A Thing, even in the wizarding world. She could definitely understand that.]

I suppose that makes us lucky we could get these PokéGear for free. I wonder if they're expensive, too.

[Alas, it wasn't something she needed to worry about much. She put it aside for now, focusing back on Harry again.]

What kind of Pokémon did you have when you first came here? And are you a Trainer or a Breeder? I've heard that there's a difference.

[Isla the Eevee warbles happily. Evie and Evan continue to lay on Radley's lap.]

They've definitely become one of my favorites, but I love all my Pokemon. I haven't ever seen a Spinda before. That's cute.

Yeah, I was also wondering about the same thing as well. I got to be a Trainer and I got Rowan as my starter.

Row-Let! Rowlet!

(Rowan chirps on glee upon hearing his name.)

It resembles a rabbit in a way, which is kind of like my Patronus. [Really. This was a different world, right? Did it matter if she talked about magic spells? Probably not. She was okay with that.] The Slowpokes are cute, too. I've been in Azalea for a couple of days now, and part of me almost doesn't want to leave.

It does look like a rabbit.

Azalea's a popular place. I need to get over there and check it out.

Apparently, I'm to be a Breeder. There's a handbook in my bag and everything.

[She put her hand out to Rowan to say hi.]

You're quite cute, Rowan. It's very nice to meet you. [An owl. This made her happy. It was like almost having something from home.] Though, I wonder if they have anything that resembles a stag. I think that's why I started with a Spina... because it looks like a rabbit.

Mm-hm. It's something creating using a Patronus charm. A protective spell. Mine happens to look like a rabbit when I can summon a full one. It's very advanced magic, though. It can be hard to learn.

[She smiled at the idea of someone else visiting the Slowpokes.]

Oh, yes. And you should definitely visit the Slowpoke well while you're here. It's a little chilly inside, so I do recommend having a light jumper, but spending time with the Slowpokes is very relaxing.

I haven’t found any luck finding a Pokémon that resembles my Patronus just yet, but I do heard that Stantler are quite common in some parts of Jotho. Perhaps I can find one upon reaching Route 37.

Some trainers have said to have found them to be plentiful in the area.

That sounds pretty cool.

[Another magic user? Interesting.]

I'll do that. They sure seem like the kind of Pokemon who know how to relax. That's usually the opposite of Evie here.

[Today Evie just wants to stay close to Radley instead of romping and playing.]

Legosi exhales slowly, his shoulders slumping a bit. Maybe it wouldn't hurt, even if it feels bad because he knows the likelihood of her specifically showing up is pretty slim, considering.]

I think that would be a nice one for you to have. [She nodded slightly.] Hopefully, you'll find a good one for you.

[The Slowpoke next to her made a low groaning kind of noise and then rolled over, looking for belly rubs, which Luna was more than happy to oblige.]

I haven't met any truly excitable Pokémon, yet, but I imagine it's a lot like having a puppy or a kitten.

(Another Slowpoke makes its way towards Harry and is literally begging for some friendly interactions with him that he couldn’t resist saying no to the creature.)

Oh hey there, you look really adorable, aren’t you?

(He is more than happy to stroke the Slowpoke by the head much to amusement of the latter. Rowan happily chirps at another one who wants to say hello to him as he flaps his wings in delight.)

Pretty much! Eevees are closer to cats in personality, I think, but there's some dog traits in there too.

That's where training comes in.

[Iwaizumi eyes the Murkrow and has to wonder if Kageyama is even up to the challenge of training the bird. Only time would tell.]

And if he doesn't work out you'll catch others that might. Is he the only one you have?

It's strange. There are so many creatures here who are so much more fantasy like and magical than a standard Muggle pet. Yet, they still have others that seem so much more like what most people would have for a pet.

Yeah, the Pokemon are pretty varied.... Uh, a Muggle?

[looneylovegood]

[Ah, right... the magic thing again.]

Yes. That's what wizards and witches call people with no magic. Well, people outside of magical families with no magic.

[crystalmaster]

... Oh. So you're from a magical world?

[Interesting. Another one....]
