Though Tobio is not as vocal about it as Hinata would be, the radio tower was still impressive to look at and has him staring for a few minutes. His Murkrow is sitting on his shoulder and paying more attention to the people around him.

Anyone who gets to close will get a warning rumble from the bird. Approach this oblivious guy and his potential mean bird at own risk.

Otherwise he seems to have found the vending machines on top of the department store. Tobio seems to irritated at something as he scans the very meager options that they had. Where's his Murkrow? Nearby. Always watching. Always waiting.]

[Bakura is used to keep falling on his feet, no matter how dire or absurd the situation he gets tossed in. As the Spirit of the Ring he has to be able to do at least this much, his not so small faible for Shadow Games notwithstanding. Still, this situation is bad. Really, really bad. He has neither access to his magic nor to the mind of his host, which is a damn nuisance if he's ever had one. Having to deal with all those idiots yelling about Team Rocket this and Team Rocket that kept him constantly on the verge of murder, the risk of blowing his cover be damned!

But in the end the pretense of being his host has paid off. He has been ranked as one of the candidates with the lowest potential at the end of their obligatory training and sent on a lowest of grunts mission just so that the higher ups will have him out of their heir. Nobody expects anything from 'Ryou', not do they care enough to check on him. Which is just perfect!

Bakura has spent the last three days scoping his new surroundings out, stealing what he needs and sating his curiosity, before he finally returned to his Rocket uniform and his act. So you get a confused-looking fluffy teen in a Rocket Outfit, approaching you with a sheepish smile.]

Excuse me, do you know if this is the shop where those Rotoms are supposed to be haunting? I'm supposed to catch one...

This might as well be the weirdest day he has ever experienced since arriving, but Harry has discovered that he is now a Trainer in a different world and that he has gotten an owl-like Pokémon for a starter. He wasn’t sure of what to do beside what the Trainer’s Handbook has told him, but he did managed to fare a lot better than he was expecting.

So right now he and his Rowlet, a Sentret he just caught, and a Skitty he took in at New Bark Town are currently taking a break after barely surviving rounds of fighting with many wild Pidgeys and Skowvets. The Rowlet and Sentret are napping while taking in the sun while the Skitty is busy chasing her tail like there is no tomorrow.

Azalea Town
It is now a quiet time for Harry upon reaching Azalea Town: he, his Rowlet (Rowan), Sentret (Molly), and Skitty (Maisy-Daisy) are currently having lunch at the local mom and pop diner while they get to see the Slowpokes going about with their life from the window, sunbathing under the sun. He’s currently having scrambled eggs with bell peppers, hash brown and hot chocolate while Rowan, Molly, and Daisy are having PokéPuffs he got for them in Violet City. Come in and say hi to him and his team if you like to.

Time to adjust this this world, and figure out what they're all about here- and for now, that means working out what to make of his new partner. The Rockruff seems patient enough to wait for a command, sitting with tail wagging.]

[The Rockruff barks and gets up, but- his idea of a tackle appears to be slobbering all over his pants. Thancred… puts a hand down on the Rockruff's head, pushing it back gently.]

Azalea

[Luna was fascinated by the Slowpokes, honestly. She could have stayed there all day. Her Spinda was quite happy just hanging out and watching them with her, and Luna could feel the contentment from the pink creatures just ebbing into her. At some point, she found herself just sitting in the grass, surrounded by them, one in particular having decided to rest its head in her lap as it snoozed.

Luna quite happily just rubbed its cute little ears and gave another one a berry while Spinda just chowed down on a berry of its own.

She wasn't going to necessarily call out to anyone walking by, but, if someone noticed her or said something interesting in earshot, she would definitely say hi or even offer up some commentary in regards to whatever they're talking about.]

[The video seemed to have just come on by itself. But there was a startled gasp followed by a somewhat dreamy sounding soft voice with a light pitch.]

[There was an answering, "Spin. Spinda da. Da." Then, the scene shifted as if someone was rotating the Gear around until they could be seen. The girl on the video wasn't very extraordinary, her pale blonde hair framing her face on the left side with messy unkempt curls, but her bright blue eyes, while slightly dreamy looking, held something more behind them, indicating she was likely wiser than people probably gave her credit for.]

Hello. I've heard that this can allow me to communicate with others out there. My name is Luna. And this is Ella. [She shifted the Gear so that the Spinda could be seen next to her. The perpetually dizzy looking rabbit-like creature gave a wave, and then rolled over on to her back. Luna turned the Gear back to herself.] I'm new here, and apparently I've been given a handbook about breeding the creatures of this world. I've never been much of one for handbooks, though. [She paused.] I do like to make my own path. [And then she smiled again.] But this place does seem rather lovely. I guess I'm just looking for some tips.

[There's a goggle-wearing kid with an aviator cap and a bright green orb of a pokemon held between his arms like a goldfish bowl--a newly minted trainer and his solosis!]

"You and me are gonna get on just fine, not-brain-ball!" [Raz smiles, a bit befuddled but no less fondly.]

"Huh. What should I even call you? You're sort of just this gelatinous orb thing." [Someone teach this kid to use his pokedex.]

II.) [Trainer used assist] – The Mission Option

"Hey!" [Wherever you were traveling to will have to wait, there's a boy on the side of the road, waving you down and none too fearless about running right up to do it, no matter how intimidating you may look. In his arm is a speckled off-white object and he points to the tree growing out the side of a cliff atop the nearby cave.]

"I think this egg fell out of its nest, we need to get it back to its home." [It's hard for the former psychic not to feel just a little distressed about it. If only he had his pyrokinesis or levitation, getting up there would be a breeze!]

"I've been trying to psyblast through, but it's just too dark."

III.) [Hospital Heist--] The Rocket Option

"Out of the way, this is a Pok-e-mergency!" [It's not like Raz wants to rudely barge into the backroom of the pokecenter, but desperate times call for desperate measures!

The child squints, taking in the sight of the 'nurse' shoveling a tray of recovering pokeballs into a sack; the telling emblem of an "R" now revealed beneath their uniform. The jig is up.]

"..I don't think those belong to you." [Do you dare fight the child?]

VI.) [WILD] – The assumed CR option
“Hey, how’s the training going?”

New Bark Town
[So, the existential crisis of waking up in a new place and entirely new body is fully out of the way. Well, not fully out the way, but Haru has some experience with existential dread and she's been able to live her life to the fullest regardless so...

What's another handful of centimeters to her height, loss of fur and tail and shrunken ears going to do? This body seems way stronger than her normal one.

The music though, that will take some time.

She's not about to stand idle, though, so regardless of whether the person she approaches is just as new and unfamiliar as her or is a veteran making a stop back to where their adventure began, a short 20-year-old woman with platinum-white hair in twintails sidles up to you casually, pink PokéGear out and at the ready, opened on the map. A white flower is tucked behind her ear, and on closer look there's a Flabébé clinging to it, also peering over curiously as her trainer holds on her Gear]

Sorry, I'm used to Zoozle maps. Any idea of how to get this thing to give me directions to the next town over?

[You're probably going to have to crane your neck down. She's human, but just barely hits 140cm.]

Violet City
[Haru's a girl on the move, and she's warped her way over to Violet City after a grueling few days of travel. She may be used to being out in the elements, tending to all sorts of plants, but she's a born and raised city girl, and between the difference in human physiology versus a rabbit's, her feet ache and she can use a rest.

But not before she heads over to have a look at Sprout Tower, arms akimbo and craning her neck up to look at the top. She's swaying back and fourth along with the tower, subconsciously.]

Wonder if a place like that could make you seasick...

What was that...?!

[With only Volbeat's glowing tail providing light in this portion of the woods, Boober is not having a good time. His hopes of getting through this eerie forest quickly are gone, and now he's just trying to find a spot where the moonlight shines through enough for him to set up camp.

Archie's tail only glows so bright, so the question of what Boober heard nearby goes unanswered for now. As close as he comes to being frozen in fear, he keeps moving - cautiously - through the woods. Is an Impidimp following the trail of Boober's negative emotions, looking for a chance to make things worse? Or is this a luckier break, and the sound is just another trainer-- One who maybe hasn't forgotten that they own a flashlight?]

[A teenage boy with a shaky smile is posting - for the first time! - from Olivine City. It has been a long month and change of adjustments and frights for Boober, but he's getting used to being here. The fact that he's found some of Johto's best food offerings doesn't hurt.]

I've made it to Olivine, and... Well, I need some advice from people who eat meat. Seafood, specifically. See, guys, I've always been a vegetarian. We don't eat meat back home; I'm not even sure my normal body can. But I figure-- While I'm stuck like this, maybe I could try some different food.

But I'm not sure what's tastiest, much less the best way to start introducing meat into my diet. I realize this is a pretty specific problem, but I can't be the first one to have it. Maybe. Right? I mean, we're all here under pretty weird circumstances...

1. New Bark Town

Snakes is shocked to wake up at all. The last thing he remembers is collapsing dead on the morgue floor. Now he's waking up laying in a bed, with some strange lady chattering at him, and a blue blob saluting him and flatly saying what sounds like "Wobbuffet."

He leaps upright, covers falling off his shoulders, and stumbles out of bed. "Just what is this?!" he cries, forgetting to cover up his natural Southern accent as he often does back home. "Where am I?! This doesn't look like any afterlife!"

The woman's answers make no sense, and soon she's shoving him and the blob out the door, where he faceplants unceremoniously in the grass.

"Wobbuffet," the creature says.

"Yeah, yeah, I got that part." He pushes himself up and looks around wildly for anyone to help him make sense of this madness. "Where am I?!"

2. Network

Snakes is from a world of the 19th Century, more or less, but it's a steampunk 19th Century. Figuring out the PokeGear actually isn't too hard for him, but his hands are shaking as he sets up the video.

"H-Hello?" he stutters. "Is anyone out there? I ... uh ... I don't know what to do with this."

He turns the video feed to show that he and Wobbuffet are pinned down by Weedles on all sides.

"I'll never complain again about the bugs back home, you betcha. How in the world are they this big???!!!"

[ being booted out of the house by terry is one thing. being booted out of a home by a strange lady is another. normally, rock's temper would have at least yelled at the lady, but this time... he's just confused. there's so much going on that he decides that fighting anything is not worth it.

he spares a glance at the growlithe, who's stuck by the teenager's side ever since popping out of the ball when he was banging against the lady's door. ]

You don't think she'd answer me even if I broke her door down, would she?

[ a bark. yeah, that's a 'no'. rock sighs. ]

[ wandering around the city made him think about the few times he's traveled to japan-- it wasn't often, but it was still times he enjoyed it to the best of his ability. participating in tournaments always did provide the nice kinds of travel, especially if they were the king of fighters tournaments.

but now, he's enjoying the atmosphere with a sigh, letting his growlithe run around and bark to his heart's content. of course, running around with a happy bark was bound to ram into something with all its built-up speed, and when he did, rock was quick to notice. ]

Terry?! Are you okay?! [ he shakes off the light deja vu before rushing over and picking the growlithe up, cradling it gently. he then turns to the victim with a weak smile. ] I'm sorry, he was just excited. Are you alright?

[ all of this is new. he's used to cellphones, not anything like a smartwatch. sure, he's heard and seen them, but using them is another matter entirely. he's figuring out what to do (it's not that hard, thankfully), and with two, three pushes, and the live signal reveals itself. ]

Ah, uh... is this on? Where am I? What are these strange creatures? [ his growlithe pops up on screen, barking happily. he is a 'strange creature', hello. ] Should I be worried? Are they going to hurt anyone?

[Kotone had nothing against camping. It was actually a lot of fun, if you were well-prepared for it. While she had some basic amenities in the bag Mom had thrust at her before shoving her out the door, she hadn't exactly planned ahead for a multi-day trek.]

At least there's good company! [She spoke openly to the creature she now knew to be a Tepig. His excitement from the daytime seemed to taper off a bit after they'd stopped to find a place to settle down for the night, which they'd found underneath a tree in a small clearing.] It's been a big day for you, huh? Me too. To be honest? I'm exhausted!

[She wouldn't normally let herself complain so easily, but hey! It's not like anyone was listening. Unless...?]

Violet City:
[Kotone's not sure why she was surprised to find a school here. While there are the obvious differences between this world and her own, education is a staple of civilization no matter where you go! These lessons probably would have been a lot more helpful before heading out, but she's still learning a lot.

Leaning over to the person sitting beside her, she asks,] Hey, you wanna partner up for battle practice after this?

[All things considered, this experience is only slightly weirder than an average day working at the studio. That includes the fact that he's no longer a rat but instead a short, stocky human in need of a haircut, which is definitely the strangest part of this. The Pokemon? Not strange at all. Gonzo's tried to smuggle way more out-there critters into their place before.

And he has one, now, right? That lady gave him one when she finally got him awake. It's still in the ball; how does he open this thing? Oops, probably not by dropping it--]

Ah, shoot-- Oh.

[--Or maybe that's it exactly. Go figure. Looking at the Pokemon he was given -a Torchic - Rizzo is pretty sure this is some kind of cosmic irony. A joke. He just can't decide if it's a funny one or not.]

[The shout comes from down the slowpoke well. He blames the lack of a tail. It throws him off balance. He's just down there among the slowpoke, now. Cacciatore (his Torchic) is out of her pokeball just in case, but the slowpoke haven't noticed him.]

These guys make Fozzie seem on-the-ball. Sheesh. [He gazes up the well, then sighs and glowers at Cacciatore.] I'm really wishing ya could fly right now.

[No introduction or hemming and hawing. Just a New Jersey accent and a single request:]

Oh. So you wanna go?

[It was a girl yelling as she scowled at the small creature ahead of her. A Sentret that had just jumped out into the path, directly in front of Gabi. Puffing it’s cheeks out, not budging an inch to let her pass… Though it would have been easy to step around.

The girl didn’t seem to mind at least. No, she was smirking, hands on her hips.]

Okay. But it’s your own fault.

[And with that Gabi tossed her pokéball. Rhyhorn materialising with a rough snort, looming over the fuzzball. It was smaller than his foot. The Sentret was probably regretting it’s life choices. But it was too late.]

Go, tackle! [And she threw an arm up.

This… This hardly seemed fair. But Rhyhorn dutifully obeyed his orders. Tossing his weight forward into a charge. Rapidly building up speed as he approached the other Pokémon.

Yeah, the Sentret was fleeing. Bouncing off the path and back into the surrounding trees.]

HA! You better run! [Gabi chuckled, watching the canopy above her, trying to spot her opponent. Her gaze dropping to look at her Rhyhorn’s retreating back.] Hey, where are you-

[Off one of the ledges. He’d just blindly charged right off the edge of the a little cliff. All 120kg of him, gone. Oh…]

[Just a preteen yelling at the top of her lungs into her pokégear. Look at that smug smirk on her face, look at it!. Then she’s redirecting the camera, turning it to the Pokémon that was flexing it’s non-existent muscles.

Not non-existent because it was scrawny, no. But because it was a rock. Just a Geodude, also smirking, as it flexed. ]

[ Ash was initially hesitant to visit the park, despite how many people eagerly recommended it. bug catching contests? did he look like he enjoyed insects? regardless, he pays a visit anyway and before long he finds himself resting on a grassy hill, making a flower crown. ]

[Anyone walking down the route might notice a girl in quite the attire, complete with sun hat including a sunflower. She's sitting on the ground, surrounded by Sentret and Rattatas, and a Bulbasaur, and seemingly enjoying the attention.

She probably won't even notice if someone pops up, but there are quite the number of Pokemon around her... one of them would likely notice if someone happened to come near.]

[Juniper's been to big cities before, but she's always felt lost, stressed, and unsure of herself. So many people, so much going on...

Well, this time she at least doesn't feel as stressed - her Pokemon are here to help her not get too lost!

But of course, taking in the sights and getting lost in thought, it's inevitable that something happens, and before long, she bumps into someone, scatters to the ground, and tries to quickly scamper back to her feet.]

Oh no! I'm so sorry, did I hurt you?! Are you okay?

Hello! [Juniper waves at the feed. It's clear from the pond behind her and the myriad of bug Pokemon crawling around that she's in the National Park outside of Goldenrod.] I-I think I've managed to get my bearings straight in here, thank you to everyone giving me directions. I really appreciate it...

[There's a small pause, before she realizes she was wanting to say more. A slight audible gasp follows.] O-Oh! Um, I heard there's a bug-catching contest that happens on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Has anyone done one of these before? Is it fun? I kind of want to participate... but I'm not sure if I'd do very well.
