I've seen one other person here so far. Well, sort of. It was through that... PokeGear? Fascinating device, truly. It works better than flue powder, and I can use it anywhere without having to light a fire.

[Luna was happy to pet and play with Maisy. Honestly, she was definitely in her element here.]

I know you have experience living among Muggles. Have you seen anything like the PokeGear before?

I did saw my uncle using a PDA a couple of times, but the PokéGear is more advance than it. Thankfully it hasn’t blown up on me too.

(Maisy happily purrs and meows in delight just taking in the attention Luna is giving onto her. She is just too adorable not to be ignored.)

What's a 'pda'?

PDA is short for a personal digital assistant. It is a portable digital device that some Muggles use on a everyday basis: making calls, making calculations, updating calendars. It is similar to how the PokéGear functions.

That does sound quite useful. [Luna nodded thoughtfully.] Is it a common thing for Muggles to have?

I don’t know if every one of them has them at the moment: some people still haven’t made the move to using them just yet. While others can’t afford them right away.

[Yes... money was definitely A Thing, even in the wizarding world. She could definitely understand that.]

I suppose that makes us lucky we could get these PokéGear for free. I wonder if they're expensive, too.

[Alas, it wasn't something she needed to worry about much. She put it aside for now, focusing back on Harry again.]

What kind of Pokémon did you have when you first came here? And are you a Trainer or a Breeder? I've heard that there's a difference.

Yeah, I was also wondering about the same thing as well. I got to be a Trainer and I got Rowan as my starter.

Row-Let! Rowlet!

(Rowan chirps on glee upon hearing his name.)

Apparently, I'm to be a Breeder. There's a handbook in my bag and everything.

[She put her hand out to Rowan to say hi.]

You're quite cute, Rowan. It's very nice to meet you. [An owl. This made her happy. It was like almost having something from home.] Though, I wonder if they have anything that resembles a stag. I think that's why I started with a Spina... because it looks like a rabbit.

I haven’t found any luck finding a Pokémon that resembles my Patronus just yet, but I do heard that Stantler are quite common in some parts of Jotho. Perhaps I can find one upon reaching Route 37.

Some trainers have said to have found them to be plentiful in the area.

I think that would be a nice one for you to have. [She nodded slightly.] Hopefully, you'll find a good one for you.

[The Slowpoke next to her made a low groaning kind of noise and then rolled over, looking for belly rubs, which Luna was more than happy to oblige.]

(Another Slowpoke makes its way towards Harry and is literally begging for some friendly interactions with him that he couldn’t resist saying no to the creature.)

Oh hey there, you look really adorable, aren’t you?

(He is more than happy to stroke the Slowpoke by the head much to amusement of the latter. Rowan happily chirps at another one who wants to say hello to him as he flaps his wings in delight.)
