It resembles a rabbit in a way, which is kind of like my Patronus. [Really. This was a different world, right? Did it matter if she talked about magic spells? Probably not. She was okay with that.] The Slowpokes are cute, too. I've been in Azalea for a couple of days now, and part of me almost doesn't want to leave.

It does look like a rabbit.

... Patronus?

Azalea's a popular place. I need to get over there and check it out.

Mm-hm. It's something creating using a Patronus charm. A protective spell. Mine happens to look like a rabbit when I can summon a full one. It's very advanced magic, though. It can be hard to learn.

[She smiled at the idea of someone else visiting the Slowpokes.]

Oh, yes. And you should definitely visit the Slowpoke well while you're here. It's a little chilly inside, so I do recommend having a light jumper, but spending time with the Slowpokes is very relaxing.

That sounds pretty cool.

[Another magic user? Interesting.]

I'll do that. They sure seem like the kind of Pokemon who know how to relax. That's usually the opposite of Evie here.

[Today Evie just wants to stay close to Radley instead of romping and playing.]

I haven't met any truly excitable Pokémon, yet, but I imagine it's a lot like having a puppy or a kitten.

[crystalmaster]

Pretty much! Eevees are closer to cats in personality, I think, but there's some dog traits in there too.

It's strange. There are so many creatures here who are so much more fantasy like and magical than a standard Muggle pet. Yet, they still have others that seem so much more like what most people would have for a pet.

[crystalmaster]

Yeah, the Pokemon are pretty varied.... Uh, a Muggle?

[looneylovegood]

[Ah, right... the magic thing again.]

Yes. That's what wizards and witches call people with no magic. Well, people outside of magical families with no magic.

[crystalmaster]

... Oh. So you're from a magical world?

[Interesting. Another one....]

[looneylovegood]

Mm-hm. I've seen a few people here who are from the same one.

[crystalmaster]

That's great! I'm glad you know people here from home.

[He still wished his friends from home could come.]

[looneylovegood]

It certainly helps to make it an easier adjustment.

[She considered his statement for a moment.]

Do you have anyone familiar here?

[crystalmaster]

I found some people from home, but we didn't know each other before. There's no one here I actually knew before.

[looneylovegood]

Oh. [Luna nodded slightly.] Well, that does sound a bit lonely. But, it is a good opportunity to meet new people.

[crystalmaster]

It's definitely good for that.

[His Pokemon all start warbling and he laughs.]

Hey, we can't talk!

[looneylovegood]

[Ella perked up from behind Luna at the noise in the background. "Spin?" Luna just smiled a little.]

Are you able to understand what you're Pokémon are saying?

[crystalmaster]

[The Eevees settle down and Evie looks to Ella. "Eevee-vee!"]

Well, not word for word, but I can often get the gist of what they mean. They seem to understand me too.

[looneylovegood]

I have noticed they seem to understand me. [Luna nodded at that.] They're quite perceptive. [Luna patted Ella on the head. "Spiiiin." The rabbit-like creature smiled.] I supposed I'm still learning how they communicate with us, though.

[crystalmaster]

They sure are. It's fascinating. This pretty girl actually figured out how to type and she entered me in a silly contest once.

["Vee!" Evie says with pride as Radley pets her.]

A lot of other people's Pokemon did the same thing too.

[looneylovegood]

Goodness. I didn't think they could be that capable. [She glanced down at Ella, eyeing the stubby little paws.] Even without proper fingers?

[crystalmaster]

Yeah, it was pretty something. I watched her peck out the keys with her little toes.

[looneylovegood]

Do all of your Pokémon do that or just her?

[Luna was definitely quite curious.]

[crystalmaster]

She's the only one I've seen doing it, but I'm sure the others could if they felt like it.

[Radley is very proud of all of them.]

[looneylovegood]

[Luna smiled a little, a dreamy expression, really, and nodded, picking up on that sense of pride.]

As long as they're not getting you involved in things accidentally without you wanting to be in order to play a prank. Granted, it would all be in good fun, but I know that it can sometimes hurt people's feelings.
