[ It was a nice day, Yuzu had thought to herself. Not a cloud in the sky, the forecast predicting clear skies, and…

…not raining Rhyhorn, she thought, but she supposed that even the forecast can be wrong sometimes.

…hey wait a minute— ]

gYAAH!!?

[ Yuzu could swear she saw her life flash before her eyes, but fortunately, habit kicked in while she was still processing the sight of a Rhyhorn charging directly off of the ledge she had been sitting at the bottom of, and thus throwing herself as far out of the way as possible right before a 120kg rock rhino slams into the ground way too close to where Yuzu had just been for comfort.

At least the Rhyhorn seems… mostly fine? Not great, but fine? They sure are sturdy, huh… ]

[Gabi had made an attempt to chase her wayward pokemon. She was a good runner. It didn't help though, because a Rhyhorn at top speed was always going to beat a twelve year old in a footrace. As she reached the cliff, Gabi dropped to her stomach to peer over the edge.

The Rhyhorn was just sprawled out, like a starfish where he'd landed. Gabi slowly drew her head back after a second. Taking a breath. Then crawling forward again.]

HEY! Are you okay? [She didn't just kill someone did she? That'd be bad.]

Ugh...

[ Fortunately for Gabi, Yuzu is still alive, pushing herself off of the ground until she's sitting up and glancing over at the sprawled-out Rhyhorn. Seriously, why the heck—oh.

She looks up in response to Gabi calling down and she receives her answer. ]

Just barely! [ She says, frowning up at the young girl above her. She gestures at the crater that the Rhyhorn formed. ] Are they yours?

[Oh good, she's not a murderer here. And Rhyhorn seemed fine too, he was just looking around.]

Yeah, it's mine. We were... chasing the squirrel.

[No she didn't know what pokemon she'd been chasing. Slowly after a few seconds of thinking about it, she pushed herself up and started lowering herself down the ledge. It wasn't that high, just sheer enough one couldn't climb back up.]

[ Truly, thank god. Yuzu would like it if her time here didn't come to an abrupt end from a falling Rhyhorn. ]

Squirrel...?

[ Yeah, there are plenty of things here that could be viable for the "squirrel" description, Yuzu realizes... but still. ]

I think you need to start teaching them how to stop...

[ Still, she starts to pull out of her bag some healing items for the poor thing. ]

[She'd been here less than a week. Knowing what pokemon were actually called would take a while. For now it was just whatever animal it looked like.

Gabi managed to look sheepish for a second. Only a second, then she puts on the look of perfect innocence. ]

I did, but he was going too fast.

[...No. No she hadn't. He'd been gone off the edge before she'd managed to get a word out.]
