Creepy is an understatement.

[Kageyama knows his own mother was far from creepy, and so this fake mother just made him miss his own mother. Not that he would say that out loud. Sentiment like that was voiced by people like Hinata.]

The professor was even stranger. He wasn't that informative about what was happening...

[The Murkrow came from that guy, which was both a blessing for the road here, but also a curse. The damn bird was a menace.]

Heh yeah, he was pretty useless. Took talking to some of the people around here to get any real answers.

[His first real experience on arriving in that strange world was to be taken flying on a big, fluffy cloud of a pokemon. And that just pretty much set the tone for the rest of his time there.

By his feet, sitting and waiting and seemingly curious about what the two trainers were doing, Iwaizumi's Alolan Vulpix, Keler looked between the two of them as if watching a tennis match. In the end she made a chirp to get Iwaizumi's attention. A glance down, a low laugh and Iwa bent to pick her up and tickled her under her chin.]

It's different from home. But it's not a bad place.

There's a lot of people here that look like they don't belong here.

[There was also some rather strange hair colors that apparently were natural. That took some getting used to.

The chirp draws Kageyama's attention down to the fox-like creature. This isn't one he's come across with how many trainers seemed to want to fight to "level up".]

It would be better if there was a volleyball club.

You have no idea... [Because from what he understood, there were people here who were something completely different where they came from. He was sure he remembered Oikawa talking about a guy who was a goblin?

A little shake of his head, and Iwaizumi had to grin.]

Yeah, but there's a work around. Me and Oikawa've been teaching our Pokemon to play. Some of them aren't too bad.

Kageyama looks up at his Murkrow at that. The bird stares back in kind.]

I think he'd steal the ball and fly off with it.

That's where training comes in.

[Iwaizumi eyes the Murkrow and has to wonder if Kageyama is even up to the challenge of training the bird. Only time would tell.]
