[Ghost - yes, he's named the Ice type Ghost and the ghost type Darkness - takes the chance and devilers a Tail Swipe with its frosted over tail. Darkness, on the other hand, is doing nothing.]

... and that's enough!

[The last word is a sharply barked order. Both of his pokemon react immediately, ceasing all hostility as they return to his side. Ghost, the Vulpix, is still glaring daggers, daring the other fox to try and pick a fight with it just because it's a little bigger (or more than just a little, but details~). The Haunter is a little better mannered in that it only hovers close to Bakura's shoulder now.

The Ring Spirit himself looks pleased as he backs off.]

As usual, you have guts but you don't pay enough attention past what you want to do.

You're the one who've got to know it.

[He rolls his eyes as he follows inside, hands jammed into his pocket and looking for all the world to see like trouble.]

[Banshee yelps, whipping around to confront Ghost-

-But the spirit's Pokémon have already been called back, leaving Banshee to just stand there glaring at them.]

That's enough, Banshee. You can come back now. [Banshee hesitantly returns to Ryou's side when called back, continuing to glare at the spirit's Pokémon as she goes. As for Ryou himself...]

You got us off guard. [Ryou's still incredibly wary, but now that both of the spirit's Pokémon are where he can see them, he's feeling just brave enough to talk back again.]

[That much naivety gets a snicker out of him.]

And you think the rest of the world is just going to politely wait until you're ready? "Your turn?" Bah, get real! You're lucky that I'm a man of my word, host. As long as you and your friends keep out of my business, I won't mess with any of you either. But you know what's your part in this!

[Keeping mum about Bakura's plans and actions and indirect complicity. He doesn't care what his host wants to do when he's not there, but Ryou knows too much to be just left running around unsupervised. Bakura's going to quickly put a muzzle on the teen. By whatever means neccessary.]

Then I can just tell the truth and say I got you to help me. They don't need to know how, right?

[But he sighs and shakes his head.]

It's okay. I'll manage somehow on my own, I think ice is supposed to work on them anyway... Thanks for talking to me rather than just assuming the worst.

[He goes silent. Ryou knows exactly what the spirit wants from him; be quiet and don't tell anyone, or else. He doesn't really want to do this, just go with the spirit's threats like this, but he knows what the spirit is like. He knows he's serious.]

...Just keep quiet, right? [It's not even for his own safety so much as it's for the safety of his friends and Pokémon. He can't let them get hurt by the spirit.]

[He spreads his arms as if to ask if he ever did something to warrant a warning like that before giving his pokemon a sign to return to their balls.]

Don't worry. All I'm going to do is to bust us back out of this game and then we can mind our own businesses again. One thing though... Is the Pharaoh or his vessel here as well?

[He's honestly not sure what to say to that. Ryou misses his friends, but however the spirit intends to get out of here can't be good and he wants no part of whatever he's planning.

As for Yugi and Atem...]

They aren't here. [Which is good, because that means the spirit can't get to them for now.]

[If not for causing it then for not preventing it. Bakura isn't picky about new reasons to hate his arch-nemesis.]

Route 29
This might as well be the weirdest day he has ever experienced since arriving, but Harry has discovered that he is now a Trainer in a different world and that he has gotten an owl-like Pokémon for a starter. He wasn’t sure of what to do beside what the Trainer’s Handbook has told him, but he did managed to fare a lot better than he was expecting.

So right now he and his Rowlet, a Sentret he just caught, and a Skitty he took in at New Bark Town are currently taking a break after barely surviving rounds of fighting with many wild Pidgeys and Skowvets. The Rowlet and Sentret are napping while taking in the sun while the Skitty is busy chasing her tail like there is no tomorrow.

Azalea Town
It is now a quiet time for Harry upon reaching Azalea Town: he, his Rowlet (Rowan), Sentret (Molly), and Skitty (Maisy-Daisy) are currently having lunch at the local mom and pop diner while they get to see the Slowpokes going about with their life from the window, sunbathing under the sun. He’s currently having scrambled eggs with bell peppers, hash brown and hot chocolate while Rowan, Molly, and Daisy are having PokéPuffs he got for them in Violet City. Come in and say hi to him and his team if you like to.

Well, it's happened before... I was rejected and sent away for having 'evil in me', even though all I wanted to do was to help me friends.

So... I guess some things really do rub off, no matter how good I try to be.

[It is indeed Kageyama as he turns his head towards whoever said his name. Seeing Iwaizumi does drop the grumpiness off of his face and replaces it with mild surprise. This isn't someone he expected to see here at all.]

The Murkrow, who at this rate is going to be named Hinata for how much it wants to fight everyone, is keeping all of his attention on Kuroo now. They're both Dark types so it would be annoying to have to fight this cat...]

She's still in Japan. She never left, so she couldn't have been here.

You'll be surprised about a lot of things here then, starting with the fact that I don't care if I lose to you anymore.

[This is half true, he still considers the younger boy a rival, but he's nowhere near as bitter and resentful anymore. He has his sights set on more things now than just volleyball. Amazing what half a year away from where he feels smothered and faced with a wall of people better than him can do.

Unlike the bird, Kuroo still is behaving and sitting there, well trained to listen to his trainer. Not to mention he knows a fairy move to flatten the bird.]

She was, I talked to her myself. And guess what? That annoying fake blond Miya brat, Atsumu, was too.

Route 29

Kaiba's finally arrived in Johto after a long month of hardship, and...this simple country road really isn't so bad, relatively. He's doing well for himself with his first few battles, but his team definitely needs a break now.

He's careful to dodge trainers who seem to be searching for a fight, but this one appears to be on a break too. So he'll rest near here, if that's all right.

"Yours love their naps too?"

He lets Zephyra out of her ball, and the little fire pony trots in a circle before flopping down onto the grass.

Harry turns around to see that there is another person, a trainer perhaps, also present and that he has a fire pony with him. Besides, he is pretty tired of going through way too many wild Pokémon encounters to go into a battle right now.

“As a matter of fact, they do,” he replies to his question, “In fact, we went through so many Pidgeys and Skowvets earlier that two of them went for a nap afterwards.”

"Mm. Training's tough for a young Pokémon," Kaiba agrees, sitting down beside Zephyra. She neighs quietly, and he passes her a berry from his pouch.

"How long have you been traveling?"

“Well, I, um, I just arrived here a few hours ago,” he is pretty embarrassed to admit it, but he is still trying to get the hang of being a Pokémon trainer, “I am afraid that I am still new to this place even with the information I was given in the handbook.”

... Yeah, that probably wouldn't work against a Dark type. I have trouble keeping all the battle rules straight. I was just picturing a Psychic blasting the whole bunch away.

[He chuckles, then sighs.]

He might. I guess he could grow out of it....

[Just the two. Iwaizumi actually found it in him to give the guy a smile as he turned to him and reached over to clap him on the shoulder happily.]

You made it here too, huh? How long? Anyone come with you?

They do?

[He notes the tactful decision not to ask about his host's 'bad luck'. This man seems to worry a lot about how he himself might get seen, but doesn't seem to care too much about stigmas others might have. This could be worth remembering.]

"You're new too?" Kaiba admits it readily---he doesn't need to scare the guy, not while his Pokémon are resting.

"I was stuck about 200 years in the past for a few weeks, but this is the first time I've made it to this world. I had to start my training without a handbook."

But he's figured out basic care for his team by now, so at least there's that. He pets Zephyra, careful to avoid the flame.
