Yeah. So I mean, I do understand that, to some extent. Of course, I'm sure the specifics of our experiences are different.

[He's mainly concerned about him getting arrested, especially when this is a different world and he doesn't know how the legal department works here.

He supposes he'll have to try extending trust. If he was fully convinced this guy was on the level, there would be no hesitation and he would determinedly risk arrest. He's usually a good judge of character, but he's still leery here, both because of the uniform and because of Battle City. Still ... if this is for real, he really doesn't want to be prejudiced as others have been about him.]

If you want to talk, I'll be happy to listen. Or we can just try to get that Rotom. I'll do what I can.

[He nods, not looking all that convinced. Bakura is confident that even his host would find a dodgy answer like that fishy.]

[Kageyama blinks at the friendly greeting, opening his mouth to reply. He doesn't get the chance before there's an irritated squawk from above them. The Murkrow merely gets a look from his trainer before Kegeyama can say anything to Iwaizumi.]

Not too long ago. I was alone, and this weird woman kept calling herself my mother...

A Fairy type would be able to do that.

[Wait. Are there fairy types that are that strong...]

Grow? That evolution thing? I haven't seen it happen.

... Why does that sound scary.

[Oikawa? Not caring? This has to be the weirdest long dream ever. That or there was something in the water. There's a definite chill that goes down his spine at that.

No one ever said birds were smart. Or that Kageyama was, either. In the long run, he's an idiot like the rest of the Karasuno bunch. So an idiot bird who would fight this cat sounds about right for him.]

I saw her before I came here. Miya-san, too.

[Radley hadn't thought so. To him it would seem unkind to bring up the talk of possession himself. That was hardly a normal situation for anyone to be accused of. But who knew, maybe the kid would feel differently. In any case, he only wanted to establish that he also understood what it was like to have prejudice lobbied against him and would be a good listener, but mulling back over the conversation in his mind makes him unsure he handled it in the best way. If the kid really is on the level, he feels badly about that. He wishes he didn't feel suspicious. It makes him feel like a hypocrite.]

Yeah, I didn't think you would. And I'm sure you wouldn't wanna open up to a stranger anyway. I'm sorry if I'm not coming off well. All of this ... just took me by surprise. I love my Pokemon so much and Team Rocket really makes me mad, trying to steal everybody's Pokemon like they do. If you really wanna try to topple them, I want to help you.

[He prays he's making the right choice. He's still not even sure his Pokemon can fight a Ghost type, though. He tries to avoid them.]

Really? Cool.

[He shakes his head.]

I just meant he might mature beyond that. But yeah, maybe evolving could do it too. I've heard evolving can sometimes change Pokemons' personalities.

Route 29

[crystalmaster]

[Radley is enjoying a peaceful day with his Pokemon when he sees Harry.]

Hi. You look like you've had a long day.

[He smiles, and Evie the Eevee runs around happily, chirruping for new friends!]

[phoenixwiz]

“Whoa, you were stuck in the past for a few weeks?” Harry couldn’t help feeling his jaws dropping upon hearing it although thankfully not too scared at all, “If I may ask, what was it like having to start training in that time period along with having no handbook or guide to help you?”

The Skitty merrily goes along with her tail chasing business like there is no tomorrow while the Sentret’s ears twitch as she sleeps.

Oh yes, quite a long day of dealing with plenty of wild Pokémon in this Route. Even two of my Pokémon are pretty tired from dealing with them. So we decided to rest up before we can continue on.

(Also, ahhhh!!!! Evie is too cute! The cuteness radar is off the charts.)

[crystalmaster]

That's a good idea. This route is pretty filled with wild Pokemon. It took us ages to get through when we first came this way. They were pouncing on us every few steps! I like to rest mine too ... but they don't always wanna settle down!

[He laughs, watching Evie's sweetness.]

This is Evie.

[Four other Eevees appear around him, and a Ralts.]

And Evan, Kiryu, Isla, Lily, and Cosmo.

(Oh Merlin’s beard, these Pokémon are so adorable that he couldn’t help but to be smitten by their presence. Even the Skitty of his has taken notice of them that she proceeds to scamper towards them to say hello.)

Wow, they are so cute and adorable. Hello everyone, it is really nice to meet.

Everyone, this here is Rowan (He first points to the sleeping Rowlet) and Molly (the sleeping Sentret). They are taking a nap at the moment. And the hyperactive Skitty running around is Maisy Daisy. I didn’t come up with her name though, it was from the old lady at New Bark Town who had raised her and her siblings.

[Evie rushes to her to say Hi! She and the others chorus greetings, albeit Cosmo speaks very softly.]

Hi there! Yeah, that lady has interesting names.

[Radley chuckles.]

I have one of her Skitties too, Cuddles. I wish we could take more than six when traveling. She's back in Goldenrod today.

(Nice, he also managed to get a Skitty from the same old lady as well. That is amazing to know that he might be not the only one having a Skitty in his team.)

Yep, she sure does. That is great to hear that we got Maisy and Cuddles from the same person so they may have been from the same litter. Maybe they can meet each other someday so they could play with each other.

That's a really cool idea! Yeah, that's possible. They might have known each other even if they aren't from the same litter. I can definitely bring Cuddles another time!

That would be a very brilliant idea. I am pretty sure that Maisy will want to see someone from the same species as her someday, she is already excited to meet new Pokémon as early as now.

(No kidding, Maisy’s energetic levels are off the charts right now and she is super excited to find new friends on this journey.)

[crystalmaster]

[Radley chuckles.]

She and Evie are pretty similar on that point!

[Evie is jumping around wanting to play!]

It's only scary if you want it to be. What, think I'm up to something and incapable of honesty? You wound me, Tobio.

[That earns Kageyama a snort and shrug. Tooru's amused at the denseness, even if it's annoying that Kageyama really wasn't that smart outside of the court. Irritating, yet amusing, instead of outright infuriating.

But what does annoy him as his attention goes 100% to the boy is not being believed.]

I'm telling you, Yachi-chan and Tsumu-brat both were here for a while. Iwa-chan showed up two weeks after I did, but he saw me the night before he showed up too. Weird things happen here, and that's an understatement.

Oh yeah, that is definitely true. They are very eager to meet people and Pokémon alike.

(Maisy is also as excited as Evie that she responds to her excitement by running up to her and she also jumps around too.)

[Evie runs ahead a bit and looks back. She wants a chase!]

Does Daisy run off a lot to say Hi? Evie is always doing that.

I’m honestly convinced that she does that quite a lot. She would try to say hi to even random Pokémon and people that we usually meet along the way.

[crystalmaster]

[Radley laughs.]

That's uncanny! That's just like Evie.

[Evan warbles. He doesn't really understand such extrovertedness, but he loves Evie.]

Yeah, the similarities are really on point. It’s quite amazing to see them happening.

(Rowan and Molly still manage to nap through Evie and Maisy’s energetic interaction. How peaceful their nap has been up until this point.)

It sure is.

[He looks at the sleeping Pokemon in amusement.]

I guess they're used to such antics?

They are pretty tired right now, but I could safely say that they have gotten used to her energetic nature very early on. Especially Rowan since he was the first Pokémon she has met who doesn’t come from the kind of her.
