CR MEME!

It's time for our summer CR meme. Which also features our Hisui time warp event! So feel free to use this CR meme as a plotting post for that event too.

Please share your ideas of interactions you'd love your character to have, or plots you are rolling around in your head that might need a few more folks. Is your character looking for a friend? An enemy? A rival? You could find it all here. And remember, the more detailed, the better! We all want all the CR, but specific plans, or at least a specific direction you want to take something in, will really help out everybody involved.

Like before, this CR meme will also include a template specifically geared towards Rocket CR. Please fill it in to let our Rocket members know how you feel about getting your characters involved in some crime.

Name Noboru Gongenzaka;

Canon: Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V
Cliffnotes: Gongenzaka is a 14 (YES. 14.) year old boy standing at 5'10'' ~~for now~~ with the build of someone who has been lifting boulders. Or at least destroying them. He's something of an old soul, and by Something, I mean he canonically sounds like he walked right out of the feudal era, to the point where characters in series have pointed this out. RIP, Gongenzaka.

As it stands, the samurai-who-isn't-a-samurai has a heart of sheer gold, with the strength of the iron his inches tall geta are made of; he's got morals, and he isn't budging on them, to the point where he's trying to train his pokemon in the same 'Steadfast/Defensive' style his dojo from home uses.

Which, would be less impressive if not for the fact that his dojo was in cards, and not superpowered animals.
Looking for: Gongenzaka's mostly been connecting to castmates as of late, and he could use some more CR- he's got existing ties to other characters of course, which I'd love to strengthen, but most of all it'd be neat to see him really really connect to another person outside of his series. He's a pretty strange guy for some, so it's the CR path I tend to lean into preference-wise.
Recent post: He's got a Top-Level on the Festival, but I do plan on posting with him in Hisui eventually.

✓ Anything else? - Gongenzaka, for those who were Rockets before him, is pretty notably someone who just straight up walked out IMMEDIATELY. Didn't really cost him anything either, largely because there...wasn't really any time for investment to have been made in him. But even so, maybe that's a point of irritation for your Rocket!

Marik/Gongenzaka bromance y/n

He needs a positive male role model in his life. Even if Gongenzaka is younger than him but he has big bro energy and I think he'd be a good influence on Marik.

I don't know how much Arc V you've seen if at all but this veers hilariously close to a partnership that Gon got stuck with in canon so I'm thrilled to bits to say the least hgjkfhd

Worst because i'm sorry malik your new friend does stuff like haul rocks over cliffs and stand under waterfalls to train for dueling

Which i guess is far more justified in a world where it's evolved into an actual physical sport but like, that's a lot!

Best worst influence. Honestly that stuff might really help Marik relax mentally so it's perfect. The thought of them and some of their pokemon standing under a waterfall is super cute ;A;
