CR MEME!

It's time for our summer CR meme. Which also features our Hisui time warp event! So feel free to use this CR meme as a plotting post for that event too.

Please share your ideas of interactions you'd love your character to have, or plots you are rolling around in your head that might need a few more folks. Is your character looking for a friend? An enemy? A rival? You could find it all here. And remember, the more detailed, the better! We all want all the CR, but specific plans, or at least a specific direction you want to take something in, will really help out everybody involved.

Like before, this CR meme will also include a template specifically geared towards Rocket CR. Please fill it in to let our Rocket members know how you feel about getting your characters involved in some crime.

Notes: EST, work from 8:30am-5pm but now have WFH capabilities a couple of times a week which means sneaky tags in downtime! School will be starting back up for me on July 11th so potential slowdown there but am more on top of things than I have been for a bit and looking to get involved more in VR again.

Cliffnotes: A nightmare dressed up like a daydream. Rose is fiercely independent to a fault and has, for the most part, been relying solely on herself here thus far. While she's begun to show a little bit of vulnerability, she's still, by and large, avoiding any true attachment to anyone and insistent on doing everything herself and being on her own.
Looking for: A couple of things I mentioned recently I'd love to explore with Rose are:

★ Finding a place or group of people to 'settle' with. I've been struggling a bit with feeling kind of disconnected from the game due to her IC nature of, like, not wanting to attach to anyone or any place. I'd like to try and curb that somehow and have her settle for a while somewhere or find a consistent travel group of folks.

I think this event would be a good opportunity for it, actually, since everyone will kind of be starting from scratch and needing to help each other out!

★ Gym battles! After finally getting over being conflicted about battling with her Pokemon, I want her to maybe hit the gym circuit (after this month) maybe a network post about asking for advice regarding that in August? Seems like a good topic to touch on for new and old CR.

★ She's musically inclined and I've been handwaving/background mentioning that she's trying to make her way as a musician! She probably does small gigs in nightclubs in the bigger cities but is, like, low tier level and probably not any kind of recognized yet. If your character's also one to be into music, that's a good CR hook so lmk!

★ She also has a """famous""" Pokemon on social media; it's a Slowpoke named Momirobara that she dresses up in cute outfits and is very fat and lazy and adorable and people love.

Radley loves music! He might try to hire her to sing at his restaurant. :) Radley really likes Rose and would like to get to know her better in general, but he's pretty well-settled in Goldenrod and doesn't seem to want to move, so if she's still wanting to travel they might not be able to hang out as much as he might like. If OOCly you're thinking of having her settle somewhere, though, maybe we could try out Goldenrod?

gaSP!! she'd love that, honestly... she also likes Goldenrod! While she'd probably want to settle down somewhere quieter (she loves the Slowpoke Town), it's CLOSE enough to Goldenrod maybe that she could feasibly commute. but if she hits the gym circuit she'll want to travel a bit still

Since Doppio's a bit of a loner himself, I've felt that same struggle re: feeling a bit disconnected! He's not likely to start traveling with anybody save for unusual circumstances, but I'd definitely be interested in jumpstarting some CR with this event.

I don't have a log up yet! I was planning to make one at some point, but I may have to reconsider because my other game is doing a very cool event too and I have to remember my limits, wheezes

I do have a combined log for all three of mine up here and can easily add a prompt or custom starter of the ones already there don't work.

NOT QUITE... insurance renewals for schools! so many, of the schools. all their policies end/get renewed around the first of July because summer but god. wild.

I'll check it out and hopefully hit it up ASAP!
