CR MEME!

It's time for our summer CR meme. Which also features our Hisui time warp event! So feel free to use this CR meme as a plotting post for that event too.

Please share your ideas of interactions you'd love your character to have, or plots you are rolling around in your head that might need a few more folks. Is your character looking for a friend? An enemy? A rival? You could find it all here. And remember, the more detailed, the better! We all want all the CR, but specific plans, or at least a specific direction you want to take something in, will really help out everybody involved.

Like before, this CR meme will also include a template specifically geared towards Rocket CR. Please fill it in to let our Rocket members know how you feel about getting your characters involved in some crime.

Canon: Homestuck Epilogues
Cliffnotes: CW meta reality sutuff, suicidal ideation and actions

The Homestuck Epilogues features Dirk Strider from Homestuck becoming aware of the ongoing Narrative (and in fact unable to stop receiving it into his brain.) This is a feature of the thinning bopundaries between the various Dirks and Dirk-derivative characters across all of Homestuck, in every timeline. Also a feature of this is the ability to 'control' the Narrative, which basically means Narrating directly into it using his mind, or putting words, thoughts, and actions into the heads of others--although his capacity to do so varies wildly depending on who it is. That doesn't matter though because he won't admit it.

Anyway, he embarks on a mission to save 'canon' (a tangible thing now, which he is also physically, metaphysically, and metatextually aware of) which involves starting a new Session, ruining everyone's lives for a good(?) cause. and puppeteering a couple of Daves, at least one of which he means to have kill him. Because, you know, now he's the villain. A reality-altering villain with direct influence from Lord English and Doc Scratch (and so on.)

A lot of Bro parallels are evident. He named his spaceship the Theseus. Also his relationship with Jake imploded and he's coped with that poorly.

But also he's been in Victory Road for like four years now and he's bored and depressed but pretending he's not.

Some things are going okay. He tricked himself into an actually supportive romantic relationship that isn't what most would consider unproblematic but it was doing great things for his mental health, if not his ongoing struggles with Self and also Reality. Then his boyfriend(s) canon updated and that's a mess. Still, he's done... some stuff.

He's a Champion! He's a Rocket Beta! He's a Gym Leader!

He is going to fall to fucking pieces within 72 hours of being unable to have a hot shower and be the biggest bitch anyone has ever seen.

He does know who Cara Liss is, though. He received an Arctovish from her a couple of years ago when he led a Rocket heist of the Pewter Museum.

He is a little perturbed that she's why they're here.

Looking for: Dirk is going to be a HUGE cranky asshole for the first part of this event. I am HAPPY to have him get into it with literally anyone, but it would be nice to get some new CR or even rekindle older CR, positive or negative! I love negative CR (frankly, I apped him because I THRIVE on it) but positive CR is so precious for him, even if he makes it real fucking hard to keep.
Recent post: I took a hiatus in June because I have a puppy and also I was writing this event for you.

I have no particular clever ideas to offer, but if you want to just bounce Dirk off random people and see what happens feel free to hit up any of mine!

... Granted, none of them are necessarily easy to piss off, but they do all have their buttons that can set them off if pressed just right, so who knows which way things would go.
