There's no shrine on the train so far as I'm aware.

Electricity is generated in dedicated facilities called power plants, and transmitted where it's needed through a series of cables.

They have generators in most cities, but they're using atmospheric mana or steam pressure to generate the charge, usually, so that's a little odd--

[She pauses. Furrows her brow.] Hum, maybe it's because of the pokemon. I can't really sense mana at all here, but the pokemon seem to be the same as the holy beasts, just.....really more numerous.

This world doesn't have magic, at least none that people can use, no. And while the Pokemon certainly contribute in many ways, there's a considerable amount of technology that works without relying on them, as well.
