A: Still Trash Prince

[ Haha considering he was literally sentenced to jail time and cleaning up stables at home, waking up in a weird town and being given the "welcome to pokemon world" spiel is a pretty sweet deal. The technology is going to go way above his head for a while, but apparently one of these fun critters has decided it likes hanging out around Hans and he can't get rid of it.

I mean, Hans is a totally nice guy, why is a Trubbish following him around? ]

Do you mind? [ He turns finally. Look, he's not gonna hate on an animal but this thing smells and it doesn't look like it's going to leave him alone. Even as he takes a few steps, the cute little garbage pokemon seems insistent on trying to hug him. Gross...! There's definitely no garbage here. ]

Go home. [ He grits out with a glare, only to realize that oh yeah, people might be watching. He switches it up to a smile just as fast. ] Please. Are you lost? Can I... help you?

B: Video

[ Let's handwave the fact that Hans figured out his pokegear and he's a natural with the camera of course! The video starts off with his friendly face, followed immediately by a Goomy walking over the lens. ] Hey! I need that, would you just--

[ He peels it off and wipes the lens with his gloves. That's better. ]

I'm told this broadcasts to everyone so, hello everyone! I seem to be stranded here along with you all now, it's nice to meet you. I'm afraid I have a lot to learn since things are so different here... but I'm looking forward to it regardless.

[ Gosh, what an honest, welcoming message. What a guy. ]

Just one question though-- people can trade pokemon right? Does anyone want a, what was it... a Trubbish? One of those followed me and hasn't left me alone since. I could use a little help.

[Asami's not sure what 'starter pokemon' means exactly, but she's gleaned some basic information from her pokegear and the man called Professor Oak.]

Why do you want to trade it?

[ Ah yes, the lingo. Hans is working on memorizing it himself though he's got no idea what half the stuff actually means. ]

Well, it's uh... it's garbage.

[ He tries his best to sound sympathetic, but mostly he just sighs as the troublesome trubbish decides to join the broadcast by sitting in his lap. It's kind of cute. For a trubbish. ]

Not in like, a bad sense, I mean literally. I think it eats trash?

[Oh. Asami can't pretend she'd be ecstatic if she had been handed a pokemon like that when she first arrived.]

Oh! It's... well. It's cute. [Sort of.] I didn't know these animals could look like that- it looks almost like a spirit.

[Granted, Asami had yet to see any garbage spirits back home, but she thinks they could have looked like a trubbish.]

Looks like it really likes you.

[ See. He's not even being needlessly prissy here, this is a real dilemma. ]

I guess a spirit might make sense. Wish it would leave me alone, to be honest...

[ He's seen ice monsters so a garbage monster isn't... impossible. Just weird. Like, why does it like him so much? We know why, Hans. ]

Do you think I can request a different starter or something? I didn't choose this. It... smells.

[ He would honestly shrug it off but he's not gonna be mean on camera. He'll just. Pick it up by the ears and put it back on the ground. ]

You see why I wouldn't mind a trade.
