I, ah... I know you won't believe believe me, but you were here once before, and we did know each other. [Aha...] And Korra is a good friend of mine.

[She has to pause to mull that over.]

You're right, I don't believe you. I think I'd remember a place like this.

[The stranger doesn't seem malicious, but Asami can feel herself growing wary. She pauses before asking in a quiet, almost sheepish tone:]

This is definitely not the Spirit World, right?

[Asami wasn't sure what to expect when she walked through that portal; maybe bizarre music from nowhere and amnesia were part of the experience.]

[Ah. Another shot. out of view of the camera, Elsa's free hand clenches tightly, fighting back the pain in her chest.]

I can guarantee you that it's not. There are plenty of spirit-like Pokemon here, and it may be a world completely different from your own, but... that aside, it's just a regular place. The people here are all real.

[If this woman is trying to trick or lie to Asami, she's a very good actress. Asami, arguably, might not be the best when it comes to judging that sort of thing, but there's something sincere about this woman.

Either way she won't be able to know for sure until she can ask Korra about it.]

Well, you already know who I am, but I don't know- remember- who you are.

[... To be fair, Elsa is a decent enough actress, to be able to have fooled everyone around her into thinking she wasn't a socially anxious mess in the leadup to her coronation. But she would never use her queenly mask to trick people, oh god no. That would make her no better than Hans.]

Oh! I'm sorry... I got a little carried away there, didn't I? [So much for a flawless mask, oops.] My name is Elsa, from a land named Arendelle.

Well, it's nice to meet you again, Elsa.

[...This has to be incredibly awkward for the both of them. Best to keep the ball rolling.]

Can I ask how long you've been here? Have you ever managed to find a way to leave?

I could say the same to you, Asami.

[It is awkward, but... as long as things stay in this territory, it's an awkward that Elsa can deal with. This is the first time one of her dear friends has returned, so complicated things aside, she wants it all to work out again.]

I've been here for a little over two years now. As far I'm aware of, none of us have found a way back to our homes.

Two years?!

[Asami wanted a vacation, but not one that long.]

I can't exactly afford to be gone that long- people have to notice that we're missing, right?

[She's not sure how this whole interworld travel thing works, but for some reason she as a mental image of Mako and Lin leading some sort of search party into the portal for her and Korra.]

I'm afraid nobody could notice your disappearance, because as far as all of us know, we aren't gone long enough in our worlds to have gone missing at all. I know it seems... absolutely bizarre, and I don't blame you at all if you don't believe a word I say, but a person could be here for as long as I have, and barely any time at all has passed in their world.

[Elsa cringes in sympathy at Asami's outburst. That had always been the thing that was the hardest to accept, honestly. The different worlds, all this technology and the magical monsters, that had been bad... but the whole time mess is something she still can't completely wrap her head around, even after this long.]

When I first arrived here, I met up with my sister, who told me she'd been in this world for a few months prior to my arrival. But she wasn't gone from Arendelle for two months, as far as I knew - I'd only seen her a few minutes before I woke up here.

I guess nobody technically missing us is a good thing...

[Asami's not sure she'll ever wrap her head around that part either, but knowing that people back home won't notice them gone is a comfort. A small one.]

But you said that people can leave- I left- is there anything to it? Or one day they're just not here anymore?
