Sion Astal, king of the Roland Empire. A pleasure to meet you, I'm sure.
*you know something Sion's good at? Lying.*
Though as to your other questions, as you've evidently recently arrived, are you familiar yet with all the various species? Or would you require descriptions as well? I imagine I could even provide illustrations, if necessary...

A pleasure indeed. And here I was starting to worry this place lacked any proper leadership.
As for your question, the more information you can offer the better. I've only been studying the information available to me for a short while so I haven't committed all the species to memory yet.

Oh, I've no more authority in this world than anyone, but since we were doing introductions, it would be rude not to include my own title from home, wouldn't it?
*don't listen to him, he's one of like two people who's earned the right to open his own gym if he wanted, which is probably as close as you get around here...*
Well, you doubtless must have taken the time to memorize the types at least, I presume?
no subject
[Which means likely they'll treat hers with even less interest. Great that's one tool out of her arsenal.]
I have memorized that much. My own world operated on similar elemental powers though...it was slightly less complex in some ways and more complex in others. And we humans had control over them rather then leaving it to the local wildlife.

*after all, it'd be easy to just say anything when there's no way to prove or disprove it, wouldn't it...*
Well, in that case, I can tell you that my first pokemon here was a dark-type known as Absol. They resemble something like a cross between a dog and a cat, with white fur, and a large curve horn on one side of the head.

[At least she used to be able to read people like that. It's been awhile since she's felt so much peace of mind which in itself worries her to some level.]
Ah I see it here now in the guide. A handsome creature. And did it take to you immediately?
no subject
*asks the question perfectly pleasantly and politely enough, though he's probably intentionally needling her*
I should say so. Perhaps with a bit of an overprotective streak, at that.
no subject
Alright you have a point. It's an irritating point but never the less it's reasonable.
*She glances back to her own pokemon thoughtfully.*
Well at least they sound useful. I don't suffer fools or those of faint hearts.
[Which is better then admitting she just doesn't like to trust anyone anymore.]

Generally speaking, if raised and trained well, it's doubtful that any pokemon wouldn't be useful. Though of course each individual has its own strengths and weaknesses...
