As for your question, the more information you can offer the better. I've only been studying the information available to me for a short while so I haven't committed all the species to memory yet.

I have memorized that much. My own world operated on similar elemental powers though...it was slightly less complex in some ways and more complex in others. And we humans had control over them rather then leaving it to the local wildlife.

If strangers mysteriously showed up in your world and claimed to be royalty of places you'd never heard of, would you be inclined to take it all at face value?

Well, in that case, I can tell you that my first pokemon here was a dark-type known as Absol. They resemble something like a cross between a dog and a cat, with white fur, and a large curve horn on one side of the head.

Of course not. But I'm perceptive enough to be able to tell a commoner from someone with a proper upbringing.

Generally speaking, if raised and trained well, it's doubtful that any pokemon wouldn't be useful. Though of course each individual has its own strengths and weaknesses...
