Aye, I have seen it on several occasions. The snow-lala that I created several hours ago has come to life. Quite unnatural, but harmless to say the least.

[What is this? This is a short little lady here. Cheerful looking, a waterfall of pink hair and her trainer clothing. Sort of round in a way, like a potato, with intelligent eyes. Panning the gear towards the snow-lala, it was doing the Manderville in the snow.]

I must say, I will be glad when the snow era ends, if naught for the amount of time spent in a desert environment.

What's a snow-lala, if you don't mind me asking.

[Just in case she happened to run into one that had wandered off or something. Hers might be going in circles but that didn't mean others were.]

I'm looking forward to warmer weather, myself. This winter storm has been making me consider a trip to the Sevii Islands. [On her shoulder, Reno let out a little whine, ears falling out to the sides.] Someone has a thing against water, though.

A snow-lala is short for snow Lalafell, my race of people. We range between 2 to 4 feet tall, and have different proportions than the race of man.

[Snow lalas were probably being built knowing the snow-lala that had been created recently.]

Aye, I come from a desert nation actually. The worst of it is a little rain, and the battering winds of a storm. And your creature seems to be of the Fire persuasion. T'would be harder for it to live there.

He's a rather stubborn thing. I doubt he'd like much of anything that didn't involve a comfy bed. [His chirp says it all. You're damn right!] Sounds a bit like some of the places from my home. I lived in one of the bigger cities but I traveled quite a bit for my job.

My home is quite vast, it's the Nation of Ul'dah, one of the four Great City States. It's a desert jewel, but it can get a little rough if you lack the coin required to live there.

But there are good men on the council, Lord Manderville for one.

I've seen the other City States as well; the lush woodland city of Gridania, the beauty of the seaside city of Limsa Lominsa, and the snowy peaks of Ishgard.

Sounds like an amazing place.

Do all the cities have councils that govern them? Or is there president or some sort of royalty that oversees everything?

A city for whatever type of place you'd like to live. I'd be partial to the seaside myself.

Not in the same manner. The Admiral of Limsa has several naval captains under her, and Gridania's Seedsisters have their own government. And then the nation of Ishgard has the Holy See which has been undergoing several reforms under Ser Aymeric.

Then you would prefer either the town of Costa Del Sol if you were looking for specific beachfront property, or alternatively Limsa Lominsa, as it is a rich trading port with several beachfront properties for sale.

A very diverse means of keeping order. Does it ever cause problems?

Costa del Sol...you're familiar with that place, too? [How strange..] I went on vacation there a few years ago with a friend.

Each City-State is unto beholden of its own laws and order. Every place has its own way to enforce the rowdy from disrupting the peace, though there hath not been such disorder openly in a few months.

Costa del Sol exists on the beaches of Limsa Lominsa, and is lorded over by a wealthy master who has bought the land. Though it is a fair weather place, and many festivals have been held on its shores. Your friend enjoys the beach?

Sounds like a system several of the cities and countries where I'm from could benefit from using.

The Costa del Sol I know was it's own city. It was actually a major port on the continent. Lovely place to visit when you had the time.

Collectively we are known as the Grand Alliance, albeit there was a time when we were all divided. Friendly, but divided.

The master of Costa del Sol would be surprised to hear that in my world.

What made everyone come together?

I can imagine. It makes me wonder what other similarities there may be between our worlds.

Armageddon. The end of our world was being threatened by the Garlean Empire and they unleashed Bahamut upon our world.

It seems to be close, if not similar in some ways.
