A- Rocket Base - Action

[George Sewell did not do chain of command. He'd worked painstakingly hard to drag himself up from the lowest ranks in Ryall. He'd stabbed more backs than he could count, both figurative and literal, in order to situate himself in a comfortable life. He was able to get his hands on the best shipments, to get prisoners alone and make them squeal, and to get troublemakers out of his hair in the cleanest way, all because of his hard work.]

[To be back on the bottom made his palms itch, made his vision turn red.]

Can you believe this bullshit? [He spoke to no one in particular, yet anyone who would listen. Sewell was not the friendsmaking type, but contacts were contacts. He didn't want to drag his ass back up from the bottom, but he wasn't about to lay down and take it.]

B- Video

[It isn't hard to figure out the device, nor how to make it record. While normally Sewell might have avoided extended contact with random strangers, he needed to get a feel for where the hell he was and how to continue.]

[First things first, he needed to work on advancing in the ranks. Part of working his way up to the top meant playing the role he was assigned. If stealing Pokemon was meant to be his game, then he'd have to figure out the best way to play it.]

This thing working? I was hopin' to find someone to help me out. Can't quite get a handle on this whole Poke-a-mun thing. Everyone's saying there's something supposed to be in these balls, but I can't get it out. I'm in a city -- Goldenrod.

[Caring for small animals was the sort of hassle that Sewell hadn't expected upon waking up. It wasn't that he didn't like animals, only that he preferred ones that didn't squeak when they barked and could fend for themselves.]

[The thing at his feet, a Zorua someone had told him, was the biggest pain he could have wound up with. While his Skorupi was perfectly self-sustaining, this piss-for-brains dog seemed incapable of functioning on his own. He'd lost count of how many times he'd kicked it by now, though he considered it a point of pride that only a handful of those had been intentional and out of frustration.]

[This, however, was one of those times. He'd been in the midst of coercing a kid to hand over his pokemon ("I've got a better one, kid, right here" he'd said, gesturing to an empty ball) when the creature had ran up and pissed on his victim's shoe. He'd ran off in disgust, leaving Sewell empty-handed and furious.]

[The resultant yelp and cries from the creature were certain to draw attention, and so Sewell quickly reached down and clamped its mouth shut.]

Ya wanna wind up at the bottom of the pond just outside of town, huh? Then quit your yelping.

[ The first thing that strikes her is that she is alone. No army, no weapon. Kidnapped? Unlikely. Something else, then. Potentially spirit activity. It would explain the lack of bending, from what she's read on spirit projection. The entity that greeted her claimed to be her mother, and was certainly not, and this... thing she's been given, well. If it isn't a spirit of some kind, she's hard pressed to say what it might be. ]

[ Kuvira rubs her temples, because of course she ended up with the least helpful one, and turns to another human arrival. ]

Hello. My name is Fei, I'm a new arrival here. You'll have to forgive me - I'm a little less used to grand adventure than some of you seem to be from what I've read! I've barely journeyed outside the Earth Kingdom, myself. Though, of course, I'm sure that doesn't mean anything to you.

I have a lot of questions about Pokemon, of course, but I have no idea where to start with them. Any tips for a new trainer out there? Or, failing that, what are your homes like? We all seem to come from very different worlds.

[Alongside Route 5, there are bunches of very distinct leaves growing. They don't match anything around them and it doesn't take much to notice that them. As someone who has had a connection to her own planet and plants in general, Aerith's curiosity is piqued.

Carefully, she makes her way through the grass with no sound, despite the fact that her boots look to be at least two sizes too big for her feet. As she gets closer, the red and white ball at her waist begins to shake violently.]

OH!

[With very little trouble, Aerith has the Pokéball open and is greeted by a little flower-like creature.]

Bébé!

What? [Her attention is caught between both her Flabébé and the strange leaves.] I'm fine. I swear. They're just... strange.

[Too bad she doesn't see the setting sun and the plants starting to pop up out of the ground.]

[Cissnei paused along the path, glancing down at her companion that was staring at the field off to their right. The small fox-like creature's ears flicked before it was bounding off with another 'Vul!', leaving it's trainer behind in favor of something else.

Apparently I picked the right name. [Shaking her head, Cissnei veered from her course and followed after her rambunctious partner. It wasn't until she was off the road and in the field itself that she spotted someone else--someone familiar.

Someone very familiar, actually.

The Turk paused where she stood, feeling momentarily shocked despite herself, only vaguely aware that her Vulpix had reached Aerith and was twilling happily at the young woman.]

[ Unfortunately, she and Chris are still going back and forth through Johto as of the moment. They're taking their time, first going through an area at their pace then planning on going back around eventually. The first time they circled it had just been her going to pick him up, but it seemed an effective way to do things. Quickly learn the lay of the land and how to get from city to city (or at least center to center), then you can explore more effectively without worrying about a more comfortable place to rest or taking care of your pokemon partners.

Which is to say, they're a long, long way from Kanto and Route 5 right now. ]

I think the answer is when you start questioning if you have too many.

Then again, I kind of wish that I would have just went for it and had a full team of Eevee...

[ Wandering around New Bark Town is a young girl with fiery red hair and a fiery chick hopping after her. Seems like she's trying to ignore it, but unlike the music (which she has tuned out already due as though it were second nature), it seems to be a little more persistent in getting its trainer's attention. Needy little chirps escape from it as it hops around in her footsteps, trying to not get left behind.

The trainer herself doesn't look malicious. In fact, she may be completely unaware to the desperate state of her Pokémon as she wanders around, taking in the rest of her surroundings. Was she surveying it for a reason? She seems experienced in that much, as she keeps an eye out for any possible threats.

It's why she's ready with a greeting whenever she's approached. ] The fire bird is a message, isn't it?

[ Because of course she would be paranoid about that. ]

This PokeGear thing is pretty neat. I can dig it.

I'm Jean. [ Just Jean. Bad things seem to happen whenever she gives out her full name or someone recognizes her, so she's kind of hoping for a fresh start here. ] Looks like I'm another fresh face in the world of Pokémon. Pretty rad, if you ask me.

Let's train together sometime. If you're hanging around in the newbie area, that is. It'd be a pain to have to travel all the way back here just to show a novice like me up.

[Cissnei had taken everything in stride upon waking, carefully noting everything that was told to her by her 'mother' and the 'professor' before she had scooped up her new companion and started to get a feel for the town. And her pokegear. It was a lot to wrap her head around but this was the sort of thing she was trained for so, to the untrained eye, it may seem like she belonged here what with how at ease she was.

Minus the fact that she was in a suit.]

What sort of message would it be? [Tilting her head, Cissnei offered the other young woman a smile.] I think our partners are picked at random, honestly.

[It'd been a solid week since Cissnei had arrived in this place but she had merely observed the network rather than actually use it. It gave her a chance to get her bearings and a real feel for the place, especially since she had no means of contacting the other Turks nor did she recognize anyone she had met just yet.

When she finally comes over the network her suit jacket is spotted with snow, her hair in the same state as, on her shoulder, her Vulpix twill softly.]

Has anyone else encountered living snow-beings? And I don't mean the Pokemon type.

[She shifts her gear so it can show the view over her shoulder--several small snowman are shuffling about in circles, happy as can be.]

They're almost cute, in a way.


[Action - Ecruteak City]

[It figures that as soon as she actually tried to take a break, a Pokemon would decide to make things hard for her.

In this case, it was a small Meowth that had swiped her Pokegear and was currently leading Cissnei and her Vulpix on a wild goose chase through the streets of the city.]

Reno, use Flame Burst!

[The Vulpix twilled and did as commanded, effectively causing a garbage can to explode and startle the Meowth, sending it down an alley instead of into the dense crowd ahead.

Cissnei grinned and turned down the alleyway as well, her Vulpix on her heels as they started to gain some ground.]

Not too bad. You're getting good at that.

Aye, I have seen it on several occasions. The snow-lala that I created several hours ago has come to life. Quite unnatural, but harmless to say the least.

[What is this? This is a short little lady here. Cheerful looking, a waterfall of pink hair and her trainer clothing. Sort of round in a way, like a potato, with intelligent eyes. Panning the gear towards the snow-lala, it was doing the Manderville in the snow.]

I must say, I will be glad when the snow era ends, if naught for the amount of time spent in a desert environment.

[They told her not to go into the tall grass, but she's been going into the tall grass all her life. You can't stop a hunter from going into the grass! That's where all the good prey is!

Or Pokemon, for that matter. Sasha's sneaking up on a nice decent level Pidgey, wanting one she can at least fly on later, but suddenly the flock flutters and scatters off because there's a sound both them and Sasha pick up before the perpetrator actually shows on the scene.]

Oh my gods! [Sasha groans, faltering forward onto her knees in defeat, head hanging low. This is the third time that this has happened today. Third time. She been nice for too long.] Could you please stop following me?

[The Deerling makes a little noise, but it's a mystery if it's a sound of disappointment or a complete no Pokemon-style. Whatever it is, the Pokemon creeps closer to Sasha and noses at her arm. Come on, human. Accept it! Train it! Be the very best like no one ever was!]

I said please stop following me. I don't know what you are... [A deer with a funny hat.] ...or what you want, but please stop following me.

[Little Deerling does nothing of the sort except stomp its foot in the dirt. Well, this must be an adamant nature one. Just her luck. She's going to call it Jean.]

Okay, but when I turn you into dinner, don't say I didn't warn you.

[With Sasha, that's an actual threat.]

[The feed starts out in a blur of darkness, though on the very edges of the screen, one can pick out what seems to be natural sunlight. And it is, once the person holding the device pulls it away from her chest shows that a young girl with her brown hair tucked up in a ponyail is perched on a rock somewhere in a forested area. The city part seemed a little too busy and overwhelming for Sasha, a girl who was raised in the woods, so she's more comfortable here even though confusion is still practically slathered all over her face. She's holding a handful of colorful berries in her hand--blue, yellow, pink and green striped, you name it, she has at least enough of them to make one Pokemon very happy.

Yet she's sitting here staring at them, practically drooling.]

Good afternoon! [Oh, wait, the camera's upside down. Give her a second to learn how to live with technology. And indoor plumbing. And electricity!] A lady gave me these berries and told me they were for my Pokemon, but it doesn't want them.

[She swivels a bit and flips the camera towards a brown and beige deerlike animal to her right. Deerlike only because it has weird yellow lines and spots of which Sasha's never seen on an actual deer before and an even weirder flower thing on its head. She hold out the pink and green striped berry to the Deerling who snorts and turns its head away. How rude.

But back to the bigger problem at hand: Sasha's own hunger.]

[Seeing a familiar face on the gear was somewhat unexpected, and in a moment, Armin will definitely feel pleased and ready to give her all the information her heart might desire (and lets be honest here, probably a lot more than she ever asked for) but first, there is one super, very important thing to make sure of.

[ Swordplay ]

Well, there's a man in full armour and helm/mask, holding a blunted sword (calm yourselves Officer Jenny) and standing confidently before a Honedge. Through his helm his eyes seemed to glow yellow, purple cape fluttering behind him. He twirled the sword in hand, slipping into a fighting stance. And at his nod, they began, the Honedge slashing and thrusting, the knight parrying and counter-attacking at every opportunity. The two were evenly matched, even as Meta Knight attempted to 'disarm' the Honedge - an impossible feat given the Honedge was both the weapon and the swordsman.

They drew apart. The knight's chest rose and fell steadily but he huffed, sheathing his practice sword.
"I am not as capable as I was on Dreamland. This alien body still hinders me." The Honedge floated over to him, patting his shoulder.

[ It's pink and round. ]

[ And now here's the yellow-eyed, still masked Knight on the network. It's hard to read his expression, given he's...you know, in a mask, as he holds up a Jigglypuff and speaks. ]

What is this creature? It is said to inflate, but cannot fly. [ That is ridiculous. The Jigglypuff doesn't seem to care what he thinks of it, thankfully. ]

It's a jigglypuff. And you're correct, it can puff itself up with air, but that doesn't make it any lighter than the rest of the air around it.

-It's a little klunky, but after she opens PokéGear Connect and adjusts the camera toward herself, Youmu is sitting down against the Pokémon Center with her Trainer Handbook open.

She doesn't look at the camera but she does speak out toward it.-

Okay, so I believe I have things working right. Hello world... Or, well, anyone who can hear this.

-There's a grumble as she flips a few pages.-

I'm still tripping up on where exactly I'm supposed to go first. I'd rather not leave this town until I've gotten as much information as possible.

-Adorned in a Lass' outfit, Youmu looks up to the camera every now and again which allows you to see her bright red eyes and white hair along with the aforementioned attire. You'll also see a certain Pokémon floating behind her and reading over her shoulder.

If it even can read.-

I don't mean to trouble anyone listening, but if you could offer some help I would definitely appreciate it. ...Huh?

-With keen swordsman senses, Youmu jumps up from the crosslegged position she's in and ends up face to face with the Duskull. It closes it's eyes and tries to smile as much as it can, but Youmu is not so happy to see it.

In fact, as soon as they lock eyes her face turns blue and she ends up running away. For five minutes you'll see Youmu running from her own Pokémon unless you stop her. Eventually she climbs one of the trees in New Bark Town, which you can't see from the video feed alone but you can definitely hear her cries of help.

They're especially loud and especially frightened. The Duskull senses the bad vibes from it's Trainer and seems disheartened. You're able to see the Duskull, at the very least, looking extremely sad. It's almost heartbreaking, isn't it?-

[Travellers on the road today might run into a rather unique spectacle. The man by the road is almost impossibly large. Not just tall, he's broad to boot in a manner that might easily be intimidating were it not for the hesitant, uncertain aura that seems to hang heavily around him.

Back home, Randel has marched down tanks, gunfire and grenades, all of which have left their mark on him. Here, however, his quarry is of a different sort. One he has far less experience dealing with.

(even if the lantern worked, it probably wouldn't help him with this)

On the grass in front of him sits an azurill. Even for azurills, she is small; a small round mouse-thing with a tail as big as her, behind which she is currently hiding.]

Uhm.

[The little azurill regards him with her big, watery blue eyes before breaking out in loud, heart-breaking crying, that immediately has Randel's eyes widening in alarm, his large, gloved hands opening and closing fruitlessly.]

Ah, no! Please don't--

[What should he do?]

[Randel doesn't frequently make these sort of entries. But today, he has a problem. One that he cannot solve himself.

He's learned by now to set the gear far back enough that even his enormous bulk can be captured by the tiny camera. Today, it's focused on his upper body, the reason for which becomes very clear when Randel raises one of his arms. Lets just say it is a good thing that the coat he wears is pretty thick because there is a small Rockruff hanging from his forearm, teeth buried deep in the fabric, a chirpy little growl emanating from it.

Though... it doesn't seem to be an aggressive move, not judging by how it is furiously wagging its tail. Could this be-- Is it trying to play?]

... It won't let go.

[This world is terrifying.]

[Back home was frightening enough, but at least it was England. It was familiar, if rendered bizarre and unnavigable by his lack of sight. This world, though, with its incessant music and bizarrely friendly people and its complete and total lack of the War, had been enough to terrify Edward into immobility. He had spent three days--or nights? it's impossible to tell--in a Pokemon center, huddled in a corner, until the staff had gently but firmly ejected him.]

[There is one consolation, however: they saw fit to give him a dog. Edward has no idea what he's supposed to do with a dog, considering he can barely take care of himself any longer, and had begged them to take it back. He's already responsible for the deaths of so many of his men, he can't be responsible for an innocent dog wasting away. The people at the center had refused, and the dog had clung so closely to Edward's side that he had, in the end, allowed it to stay.]

[And a good thing, too. When he'd been kicked out of the Pokemon center, the dog had come with him, and its soft, furry presence against his calf is the one source of comfort he has in this bizarre world. The dog also seems strangely adept at keeping Edward on the road, shoving against his leg when he starts to veer off course, and whining when something is across Edward's path and likely to trip him up. At one point, the dog ran off, and Edward had stayed in the center of the road, frozen with fear and indecisiveness, until the dog returned moments later, dragging a large stick. Edward is using that stick to sweep the ground in front of him now, and he and the dog are moving a tiny bit faster.]

[Where are they going? Edward has no idea. He hasn't had any idea where he's going since the gas invaded his vision and then sealed it away forever.]

[He and the dog are making their painstaking way down a road when Edward hears a horrible shriek, and he freezes. For a moment, he's back on the front, stuck in the mud and horror, and someone in No Man's Land is hurt, one of his men, and he needs to go up there and retrieve him, but he can't, he can't see, he can't do it anymore, but they need him, and...]

I can't.

[Edward doesn't even hear the other man's voice, too lost in his own memories, and his own voice comes out like a plea, or a desperate prayer.]

I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, I can't help you...

[An Audino is shown first with the device, one of her feelers was lifted and wrapped around the wrist of her trainer, who sat just off-screen on the bench they were on. She smiled into the camera, waving gently and then looking to her companion. She tugged at his wrist to signal he could take the PokeGear now and soon, it showed a man in his mid-20s, dark sunglasses that did nothing to hide the horrible scar all across the left eye, brow, and cheekbone. The light behind them showed enough behind the glasses to signal just why it was the Audino who turned on the video, rather the trainer. Although, he had actually requested it to be just audio for a reason, but he couldn't exactly tell she pressed the wrong button but it was clear given he didn't really look at the device so much as talk to it.]

I have been told this device will connect me to others in a similar predicament to my own among other things. It seems I have also been separated from my companions.

[His accented voice, very British to those from Earth, doesn't alert anyone to his worried state, ever one to remain calm and collected as panicking did no one any favors. However, the Audino could sense what others could not see or hear from her companion and she reached up to hold his hand, although it wasn't seen in the video. He is still learning the world once more with his new disability, being in an entirely new world that was not Eos is not at all something he expected.]

Noctis. Prompto. Gladio. Please speak up if you are here.

Action - New Bark Town and Route 5

[He had been straight and to the point with his video, but now all that remained was what he could do from here on out. He couldn't stay in New Bark Town, but aside from the Pokemon that was his new companion, he really had no way to defend himself. No weapons, unfamiliar territory, unfamiliar monsters... but supposedly he would find more people should he continue his journey. And, oddly enough, no one seemed to worry that he was blind.

Audino, on the other hand, was worried and showed it by constantly tethering herself to him. She was just tall enough to hold his hand, which she did every so often. Walking stick swing gently in front of him on the ground as he'd grown used to doing, they'd begun their journey.]

[Her admonishment doesn't seem to be helping, as Kanaya has to kneel down to physically hold a vulpix away from a Sewaddle. It seems like the little fox just wants to play, but the heat is too much for the little plant-insect.]

[The feed starts focused on Kanaya's face as she first turns on the video function, but quickly swings around to feature her Sewaddle, currently stitching leaves together into a tiny little skirt.]

Alright. You can't tell me that there's not some specific intelligence responsible for bringing us all here when we get paired up with creatures like this. It's just... too obvious.

Ah, you must be new.

Lets see.
There are some faster methods of travel available. Perhaps unsurprisingly, many of them depend on pokemon to some degree.

Looking at the pokemon related methods of transport first.
There are several pokemon moves that can help you travel long distances.
Fly is the most well known example of this. Surf acts similarly, but for water transport.
As you might have guessed, these moves allow for a flying type pokemon to transport you through the air
and for a water type pokemon to transport you over a body of water.
These are moves that must be taught to your pokemon however; they do not learn these naturally.
If you defeat certain gym leaders, they will give you something that is known as an HM, which you can use to teach those moves to your pokemon.
However, you generally will also need another gym leader's badge to actually use those moves outside of battle.
And, of course, a pokemon that is compatible with learning those moves.
It's... not the most accessible system.

Luckily, a simpler alternative is to simply ride your pokemon.
If your pokemon is large and docile enough, you can generally train it to allow you to ride them.
Some need more training than others though.
And, obviously, not every pokemon species is going to be fit for it.

If both of these are an impossibility for you, there is also something called the Pokemon Ride system.
You should be able to purchase a ride pass in any of the large cities.
With it, you can rent a pokemon to ride around if your own aren't up for the task.
I believe they charge you by the hour.

As for the non pokemon dependent ways of travel

You can buy bikes in most of the bigger cities. Rollarblades as well.
Though they are not going to work on every type of terrain.

Once you have visited a poke centrum, you will also be able to use the warp pad there to warp back to any poke centrum you have previously visited.
I'm not quite certain why this is only available after you've already visited a town.
Perhaps this is their way of encouraging us to explore and meet a diverse bunch of pokemon?

I believe there is a train system between certain towns too, though I've never ridden it.

The only difference was that apparently here Vanitas was now apart of something called 'Team Rocket' which meant he had to do jobs for them and he could earn an allowance each week as long as he did? Oh and he got to start with two pokemon and didn't have to sleep in hotels.

Considering he'd been 'dead' in a sense last he remembered, maybe this wouldn't be so bad.

After going through his first bout of training Vanitas ends up finding a place to lounge about out of sheer boredom, his Phantump curled up against his side seemingly asleep while his Woobat darted about through the air exploring the surrounding area. Any unsuspecting Grunts may find themselves a target of his boredom if they wander too close.]

I guess you aren't completely useless. [The Woobat that was being spoken too squeaked happily at the praise which got a snort out of Vanitas as he absently tossed a pokeball up and down in his hand. His Phantump hovered close, trying to get a look at the ball but since her master wouldn't stop tossing it she was having difficulties.] I'm betting this thing will be though.

[Clutching the ball after the next toss, Vanitas clicks the button to let it open and a Wimpod appears, scuttling about nervously before circling the young man's feet.

An unimpressed look touched his face, despite how amused he was by the Wimpod, kicking at it with his foot--albeit kind of gently.]

Calm down, idiot.

Another dead man was walking the halls, interestingly also accompanied by a ghost. Walter was wearing his uniform, a white lab coat hair tied back and Alolan Marowak, Assumption, walking alongside him as he read over a clipboard of notes. He paused when the Phantump floated past his vision, watching it. He spotted the person who it belonged to, giving Vanitas a thoughtful look, before turning to continue on his way.

Assumption waved to the Phantump, before following Walter.

I - Rocket Base - Action

A different world, a new start. He'd been given this... dreameater to be his companion and told to explore the world. The problem was that although Roxas now knew all about his other half, he still found himself at a loss for direction on his own. He'd heard of a group that sounded a lot like the Organization XIII, collecting pokemon to make the world better... Hopefully there wasn't some awful ulterior motive behind this group, but hey. He'd roll with the punches as they came.

At least he was independent here. His own person. The little creature beside him seemed to think so, at least.

The blond slipped into the uniform he'd been provided, enjoying how breathable it felt compared to the huge coat he was used to.

"Not so bad, right?" He asked his companion, looking himself over and exploring the range of motion the black clothes offered.


II - Celadon City - Action

A... bicycle. He'd been told he should have one, and thus the nobody purchased a bike, but... Now he was standing in the middle of the road trying to figure out what the heck to do with it. A skateboard he knew. How was a mystery but there it was. A bicycle... Sora didn't know how to ride a bike, did he?

Looking around, Roxas spotted other people riding bikes and saw what they were doing. Hesitantly he straddled the metal contraption, looking down at the pedals and gears and... well, maybe Sora did know how to ride and he'd just figure it out automatically?

The blond pushed himself up onto the seat and into a forward motion, gliding a few feet before...

Crash.

He winced and sat up, looking at the bike like it had done him some personal wrong. "What the heck," he growled, kicking the frame lightly and hoping no one had seen him just straight up bite the road.

It just so happens that Vanitas had already changed and was wandering the hallways rather than going straight to training like he was suppose to. In fact, he was opening every door he could to peer inside, trying to find something interesting because frankly he was just bored with this place already..even if he did kind of like the strange little unversed things that he'd been given. (Both his Phantump and Woobat were following him around dutifully.)

Shoving his shoulder into another door, Vanitas forced it open and lazily started to peer around only to freeze.

Blonde hair. A familiar face.

Anger coursed through him and before Roxas would have a chance to react Vanitas would be on him, slamming the blonde into a wall with a wicked grin.

1) Route 1 - Kanto

[Okay, this seemed a little easy - wandering around, capturing monsters, being the best that she can be and all of that. No sweat! For Rainbow Dash, this seems like the easiest thing in the world! And now, it was time for a fight - a Squirtle vs. a Pidgey. Time to add her first captured to her collection!]

Alright, Tank, let's show them what you're made of! Tackle it!

SQUIRT!

[And the turtle charged forward, tackling the bird, who responded by tackling the turtle in response. Care to watch this fight?]

2) Viridian City - Kanto

[It's been a long walk, but Rainbow Dash finally made it to the first stop in her journey... and she's failing to get into the Gym.]

Oh, come on! It's a gym, it's right there, why can't I get it? Ugh, you guys suck!

[And she's going to march off in a huff]

In truth, the Viridian Gym doth be the eighth, not the first. T'would be prudent to head to Pewter City.

Pallet Town

[Waking up in strange places, surrounded by strange people was unfortunately common for the young troll. Maybe it was a little odd that there was a human lusus insisting she take a lunch, but there were also the familiar touches that reminded Kanaya of her dreambubbles all the same.]

[Namely, the fuzzy, grub-like creature nosing around her feet.]

[Where some of those around her wandered around with looks of confusion, Kanaya marched forward gracefully. It was normal, with these sorts of things, for the bubble's purpose to reveal itself sooner or later. Until then, she could wander about this strange hybrid between a game of FLARP and Fiduspawn, and make the best of it.]

[And right now, the best of it seemed to be settling beneath a tree with her strange companion, and waiting for the owner of the bubble to come forward.]

Goldenrod City, Department Store

[It's probably frighteningly common for things to be possessed by ghosts and the like in the Johto region. Which is likely why the rattling of a nearby clothes rack might not draw someone's attention. The muttering on the other hand? Perhaps a touch more odd.]

[Kanaya Maryam was none too concerned with what passersby might think, however. At present, she was elbows deep in various clothing items, rifling through them at a maddening rate.]

Excuse me -- [Her head shot up, green eyes seeking out the nearest person.] It would appear that coordinating an outfit with the human epidermis is a far more herculean task than I had anticipated. Could you be so kind as to help me determine which of these garments is the most befitting of my current form?

[Asriel looks up from the scarves he's been looking at, having been entranced by the patterns and wondering how they were made - it would be pretty cool to make something like that for his Pokemon, if it's possible - and he blinks a little, surprised by being questioned. He's not used to loquacious talking, but he does know what the words mean, and what they imply. After all, he's had his own problems with clothes in a human body. Taking into account his shorter ears and lack of fur were the things that stood out most.]

Um...sure, I can try. Is, um, is it really different to how you were before?

Ivy stands by the shore of Cherrygrove, her Bulbasaur laid beside her feet, basking in the afternoon sun as its Hoppip teammate rides the ocean waves. Ivy herself has the expression of puzzling out something, looking between the Flabébé floating infront of her and the device in her hand.

"Realistically, this is my own fault. I shouldn't have just assumed that you were a Grass type simply because you held a flower. It is rather obvious you are simply holding the bloom."

The Flabébé lets out a pleasant noise and sways back and forth.

"Though it does say here you hold a special relationship with the flower you choose. And there are theories that you and the flower share a symbiotic."

She peers are the large red bloom.

"That would explain why it never wilts."

Hello there everyone. So I have been doing some reading and it appears there is a whole sub division of these creatures based on plant life. Referred to as 'Grass', I believe? I'm not entirely sure how accurate is it to name a whole diverse sub species after Poaceae but I am a little out of my element here. Speaking of which, I would be very interested in collecting a vast array of specimens that fall into this 'Grass typing'. So, if anyone would be kind enough let me know where I could get some.

Not far, Ash spotted the Hoppip in the sky and grinned, chasing after her. He loved Hoppips, they were so cute and sweet!

"Oh hey, is this one yours?" He asked, smiling and waving to Ivy as he approached her. At his side is a midday Lycanroc, Cú, who is wagging ehr tail and bounding alongside him.

Then he spotted the Bulbasaur. "Oh shit, hey! Wow you're like...a dinosaur with a flower on your back? Don't that hurt?"
