He looked like one of those idiots from Radiant Garden.
"Hey!" he called out, hopping down from his perch as his Woobat slammed into the back of his head causing him to wince and glare at the little creature. It was quick to zip off as Phantump poked up from behind Vani's shoulder.
"Do I seriously have to stay here for two weeks to train?"

Evidently, given the boy's attitude, he was a newcomer as Walter had been - and one he was quickly sliding into the undesirable category of Rocket members, along with Handsome Jack and Felix. The ones Walter really didn't want anything to do with.
"There are other bases you can relocate to, and you're free to explore the city during your training." Not a bad deal really...at least, compared to being trapped in a very small area of the woods and held between an orphanage and a prison.

As a matter of fact..
"Why should I care if the superiors get mad?" It was, actually, an honest question because so far Vanitas had been overly intimidated by anything here. At all.

"They will punish you for not follwing orders. Whether you care about that is for you to decide." Walter knew why he cared. He was familiar with punishment in many, many forms and was reluctant to relive any of it - he simply assumed Team Rocket held the same standards as the Order when it came to disobedience and failure.

"So steal people's Pokemon and they'll be happy. That's easy enough." It's not like he cared who he upset. Stealing Pokemon would be a breeze.
The Woobat chirped again, oblivious to Walter's discomfort as he plops on the ground, peering curiously at the club.
"Punish me. I'm shaking," Vanitas drawled, clearly more amused by the idea of someone trying to do something to him that may actually bother him more than anything else. "But I'll keep it in mind, especially if I ever get bored."

"Assumption." The Marowak finished, nodding up at his trainer. Time to go. He waved to the Woobat again.

While Woobat was completely enthralled with the display, Vanitas was starting to frown, watching Walter and trying to figure out just how he was going to crack this particular individual. There had to be some way to get a rise out of him...
A sad chirp escaped Woobat when the pair started to leave before it startled into the air as Vanitas made to follow the man, lazily striding after him.
"Leaving already?"

This was the fourth time someone had tried to follow Walter around Rocket HQ. Why everyone seemed to find him so approachable here, he really didn't know. He set a calm pace as he walked, Assumption at his side. Thank the Mother he had his Pokemon always present with him when he went to work around here.

"That's a shame. Aren't we all suppose to help each other since we're a team?" he said mockingly.

He didn't bother trying to check his notes again. He could already tell Vanitas was going to persist. He recalled Assumption, idly wondering which Pokemon he should have accompany him today. Chaos did a good job driving Felix away, but he didn't want to encourage her behaviour too much. He had proven to be a problem when in a 'mass battle' situation.
