she would have found it so delightful
This is great, but... your phrasing on one part. [ She frowns, unsure of how to speak on it. The other is that people who weren't human before become so on arrival just kind of rubs her the wrong way a bit. ] Aw man, forget it. It's semantics at this point.
perhaps another time, though! (maybe if she texted his inbox directly?)
*he tried to make it as clear and simple as possible, but...*
note to self: do that sometime!
Is it really the time to be getting into this? Probably not, but it'd be a good way to alleviate the stress she has at appearing suddenly in a new world for the third? Fourth? Fifth time in her life?
(Why does this keep happening to her?)
She exhales loudly. ] Listen... in some worlds, don't you think it's a little offensive to say someone's human on arrival?
I fixed my notifs on that page so \o/
*oh, that gets a somewhat wry smile*
I'm sure I could come up with a better way to put it, really, but I decided that, for the majority of cases, it was best to keep things simple. Even so, what's considered "human" varies from world to world as it is. For example, in my world it's quite normal for humans to be capable of using magic, and some even have other rare abilities or talents they're born with, but it isn't possible to use any of those here. So to be perfectly accurate, everyone is made more or less "human" by this world's standard upon arrival. For some, that means a rather drastic change; for others, a less obvious but perhaps no less important one.
*he's speaking from personal experience from the latter, really, though that's a subject he's not overly inclined to discuss much...*

I'll just cut to the chase then. [ Mostly because she just can't read his mind for the answers she needs to hears. ] Are you talking about mutants?
no subject
*that's probably answer in and of itself, but...*
Ah, perhaps I should explain. Some people who've arrived here have been of species that aren't remotely human. A good friend of mine knew a young girl here who was apparently a cat in her own world, for example. Many such people find themselves disoriented, if not outright distressed, upon arrival here because of changes, so I felt it was prudent to mention the matter up front.

And give them a humanoid state? ] I don't think I was prepared to hear that.
no subject
*Sion finds it... odd that anyone would use a word like that for their own species, but it's not really his place to argue that one*
no subject
Maybe monsters hold an entirely different meaning in that man's world.
no subject
*strange as it is to consider*
Though, to answer your earlier question, I'm afraid I'm not familiar with "mutants" as however you seem to be using the term.
