[So says the accented voice, attached to a tanned man with pointed ears and lovely facial tattoos. (At least, if you asked him.) He's currently wrapped up in a sleeping bag, huddled up close to a fire, amid the light dusting of snow in the area.]

Is it always so cold in this world? Or is this just my luck?

[To add insult to injury, there is a Murkrow hopping around him, rolling around in the snow with complete and utter delight.]

I doubt what they do could be called magic, precisely, or certainly not magic as I'm aware. The people native to this world don't seem to consider it as such, either, for that matter. But pokemon are potentially quite powerful, yes.
