In Which Christopher Arrvies - New Bark Town

Christopher stood at the center of the town, feeling hopeless. This place was very loud, filled with many people, a lot of whom looked foreign and a little frightening.

He found comfort in the small, sticky, honey covered paw that rested in his hand. Christopher looked down at the little bear and smiled softly. “Now don’t let go of my hand, Pooh.” Shaking his companions hand to emphasize the point.

The Pokemon looked up at him with big curious eyes, its other paw adorably placed in its mouth. For the longest time it gazed up at him, before nodding slowly.

Satisfied Christopher looked about himself in hopes of finding someone to speak to, preferably less threatening than most of the others he’d seen so far.

In Which Christopher Gets His First Capture - Any Pokemon Center

"Um... Excuse me?" Christopher cautiously approaches you at the Center, a Teddiursa at his side, a Hoothoot on shoulder. "This animal won't go home." He points at the Hoothoot.

"He flew into a tree last night and after I helped him he followed us here. I spoke to the lady at the desk and she said he's fine."

Hoothoot!

"I mean, he is ever so friendly but I just don't know what to do."

In Which Christopher Has Fun By The Waters Edge - Any Location

Christopher Robin can be found playing by the water. He's attempting to show Pooh Bear, his Teddiursa, how to skip stones.

A Buizel occasionally pops its head up out of the water and swims to the shore to deposit more stones before returning to swim, while a Hoothoot dozes in a nearby tree.

"Oh hello!"

The person he had approached in question was a sweet faced Chinese woman, flanked by a snowy white Sandshrew. Far be it from Mei not to try and help an adorable child though.

"I think I understand. May I take a closer look at him?" She smiled warmly and then knelt down a little to be eye level with the bird.

"He seems content to be with you, perhaps he has found a new home?" She mused out loud.

Christopher watches the woman carefully. "I'm sorry, what do you mean?"

She chuckles politely because that was a very polite answer. She's not been around children for some time so it's a refreshing change of pace from her...usual associates.

"Well, I think the Owl might be hoping to stay with you. Perhaps you should catch him in a pokeball and take him home with you?" She offered. "That's what a lot of trainers do when they make friends with pokemon."

The Sandshrew she's with makes a happy sound and rolls into a ball before rolling circles around Mei making her laugh some more.

"Like Frosty here!"

"Oh... Well, um, I'm not really sure how to do that. I've never even put Pooh Bear back into those things."

He gives a little smile and relaxes as he watches the Sandshrew. "He looks very nice."

[abomeiable]

"Oh, well that's understandable! A lot of trainers like to keep their pokemon out. But if you want to catch one you just need to tap it with an empty pokeball. Do you have any of those?"

She slipped a hand into a pouch at her waist producing one of her own empty pokeballs. It slipped from her fingers and she let out a yelp fumbling it twice before Sandshrew caught it easily and gave a curt little nod.

"Ah! Great job! You're always so cool Frosty!"

There is a person standing by the edge of town that he might find interesting: a young girl, but older then him, standing next to a large, three-headed bird creature. She seems to be fiddling with some saddlebags hanging off the large bird's side.

Christopher starts when he notices the girl, looking at the bird warily. He takes Pooh Bear's paw and steps back cautiously, unable to take his eyes off the creature.

Naturally, when something has two more heads, it makes it easier to notice things. One of its heads lets out a testing squawk in Christopher's direction that manages to draw Rakka's attention as well.

"What is it? ...Oh!" Her gaze now rests on this kid, and his bear. He definitely looks a bit younger then the usual people that show up here. "Umm, hello?"

"H-hello." He squeezes Pooh Bear's paw tightly.

Rakka steps forward, gesturing to her Dodrio to stay where it is. Clearly, having a big Pokemon around a kid might not be the best idea.

"Are you new here?" She asked with a small smile. She even bends down slightly so as not to have Christopher need to look up at her.
