Snowstorm

"Sorry, no fire Pokemon. But I do have the next best thing." said All Might, the skeleton-like man pulling out a Geodude.

Knocking a hand against the wall, he added, "There's flint in the cave structure. If we can knock it off and then use it to start a fire with friction, we should be able to get warm."

Because this world was silly like that, having random flint deposits.

"How are you holding up? Do you need my jacket as well?"

"How very clever!" Mei praises with admiration in her voice. She had not yet noticed the flint in the cave having been more focused on the storm outside of it. Then again she still was trying to adjust to this world and it's lackadaisical grasp of what was and was not logical science.

"I'm doing well thank you, compared to my last research center this is mild." She explains trying to sound more humble then the statement actually is.

"Would you like something to eat, I have some snacks in my bag." Honestly just looking at All Might is making her want to cook something. This guy looks like he hasn't had a decent meal in his life.

"That's good to hear," said All Might as he and his Geodude struck the wall and dislodged a bit of flint. Setting fire to tinder, he smiled a little. "Well, if you don't mind. I have some food in my backpack as well, although my own cooking skills are a little lackluster."

She beamed, a sweet smile on her lips as she started pulling out a traveling tea pot, some instant noodles, jerky and other travel snacks.

"Between the two of us, this blizzard might become a buffet." She wasn't too worried about eating through all their snacks. From all her data the storm itself wouldn't last more then a day or two, and she had more then enough.

"It seems like you might have been in a few tight spots like this before. Blizzards or something else?"

"That's good to hear," said All Might, removing a few items as well from his traveling pack. It was too cold for his Pokemon to be outside their Pokeballs with the exception of Geodude who curled up next to the fire. "Ah, my previous profession required me to travel into many hazardous areas of the world. I miss it to be honest."

"Oh? Were you a scientist as well?"

Mei's current profession had her traveling around the world to extreme climates, but so did many other jobs she could think of. The thing was...most of those jobs required you to be physically fit and this guy looked like even she might be able to take him in a fist fight he was so scrawny.

As the fire warmed the cave she was able to relax a bit more and nibble on their shared snacks as the tea steamed in the teapot almost ready to drink.

At her question, he chuckled, shaking his head.

Of course in his normal state, he would look like he was unable to do anything, how thin and twiggy he was. In this world he was in incredible shape, thanks to his damaged body being healed.

"Actually I was a hero," replied All Might, breaking a power bar in half. "I didn't look like this much, more muscles and all smiles. I've basically retired now, before I arrived."

Her eyes light up when he says "hero". It's one of her positive triggers.

"Well we're lucky to have you here sir! I've worked with a number of heroes and so even retired your wisdom and experience can help us achieve more!" Of course most the "retired" heroes she knows go back to fighting the good fight without much prompting.

"What kind of hero?" While her world had all manner of heroic types, the traditional "Super hero" still tended to be a comic book ideal.

"Ah... they'd call me a Superhero actually," replied All Might as he stirred the flames. "I was known as a man called All Might, the strongest and most powerful Symbol of Peace of my world. I've retired since then, and I have many successors all vying for the top ranked hero of Japan." He smiled a little. "They're good kids, I love them all dearly, I just wish I had the strength to keep them safe still."

She beams at his explanation. The mental image of a true blue hero like out of the comic books and movies makes her heart swell and suddenly the cave doesn't seem as cold.

"I can think of a few people from my world who would have adored meeting you." Picturing Genji and Hanzo as little boys cheering on someone like this almost makes her laugh.

"It sounds like your pokemon have the best teacher they could have if they want to grow strong and protect the weak."

"I hope so. I was a teacher at UA, a high school for aspiring heroes in all fields of the world. Our world is about 80% heroes and 20% normal people. It's our duty to make sure that crime doesn't raise and that people can sleep well at night." said All Might.

"I'm glad you've got people who believe in heroes in your world."
