[Anna wrinkles her freckled nose at Hans, strongly resisting the urge to stick out her tongue at him. She has to be the bigger person here.

Or, at least, bigger-ish.]

Long enough to notice that you have no idea how to handle your Pokémon! Sheesh, I thought you were good with horses.

I am. [Hans says quickly, perhaps a little defensively. He narrows his eyes.]

This is far from a horse- but you're right, I am struggling.. It's difficult, I suppose. He's a lot less persuadable than you are.

[Anna merely scoffs, and rolls her eyes at him.]

It's horse-adjacent. Anyway, there's a lot you don't know about me, Hans. And I bet you anything I could kick your butt in a battle!

[Pokémon battle, of course. She doesn't exactly have the element of surprise on her side this time.]

There's a lot I don't want to know, I'm sure.

[His tone is snide, but he's taking her challenge into consideration. She probably doesn't know that he has a second Pokemon and that, despite his behaviour, his Mudbray came to him pre-trained.

But he also has a very loose grasp on what he's doing, and God knows how long she's been here, learning.

She's probably going to use the power of love again, eugh.]

And you never will!

[She's trying to hide the fact that she's on somewhat uncertain ground, but she thinks she's doing a decent job of sounding confident and masking any lingering fear.

Besides, she's been here long enough that she feels confident she can beat him in battle. She's got three Pokémon with her, and unlike Hans, they actually cooperate with her.]

Money, if you win. And bragging rights, I guess.

[Hans' pokemon fight valiantly, but with only two partially cooperative Pokémon and a total lack of experience it's not a huge surprise that he loses.

But he sure is mad about it, and he's not good at hiding it. He withdraws his Mudbray before he's weak enough to faint and returns him to his ball, effectively forfeiting the battle to Anna.

He looks about as happy about it as you'd expect. He composes himself, somewhat, trying not to sigh.]

I don't want to be cliche when I say this- but this isn't over.

[Anna can't help but give Hans a smug grin when it's over and it's clear that she's the victor. Especially with the way Hans just gives up like that! She gives him a dubious look.]

It seems pretty over to me, Hans. And you owe me p200.

[Time to pay the princess piper, pal.]

You've taken to attacking funny, little animals for money much faster than I would have expected. I suppose you were always brutish, for a princess..

[Hans fishes for his money, holding it upward so he can release it into Anna's hand without having to touch her grubby paws.]
