Lucky for Walter, Jinx likes creepy.
She's spent enough time studying killers, criminals and mysterious otherworldly specters that cause pain simply by their nature that she has a natural suspicion of him, but she also trusts Diana's judgement (Big mistake) so when it seemed like Diana was seeing something deeper and worth being attracted to Jinx was just jealous enough to find out what it is.
She has now determined that Diana just has a type.
As for Walter, he doesn't really seem that bad. He seems like he may have a past, much like Diana. And exactly like Diana he doesn't want to talk about it. Jinx assumes he might have been a hitman or some kind of professional, but she also thinks he is super depressed and needs to seek professional help.
She is also not going to say that to him because she will acknowledge she only knows him a bit compared to Diana and his pokemon.
What she likes most about Walter is how he treats his pokemon. While Jinx was never exactly an animal lover it's hard to live in the pokemon world and not become one. And the way Walter takes care of his mon and the way they try to take care of him touches a warm gooey sappy part of her heart that she tries and fails to hide.
What she likes least is probably how clammed up he is...because goddamnit why are two of her closest friends so closed about their pasts but seem to be attracted to each other?! Walter don't you realize she's been crushing on Diana and trying to get emotionally closer to her for months and you just roll in and Diana starts chasing you? totally unfair you goth kid that never grew up!
...she also likes his since of aesthetic what with the haunted house, dark and ghost types and naming scheme for his mon.
