A... bicycle. He'd been told he should have one, and thus the nobody purchased a bike, but... Now he was standing in the middle of the road trying to figure out what the heck to do with it. A skateboard he knew. How was a mystery but there it was. A bicycle... Sora didn't know how to ride a bike, did he?
Looking around, Roxas spotted other people riding bikes and saw what they were doing. Hesitantly he straddled the metal contraption, looking down at the pedals and gears and... well, maybe Sora did know how to ride and he'd just figure it out automatically?
The blond pushed himself up onto the seat and into a forward motion, gliding a few feet before...
Crash.
He winced and sat up, looking at the bike like it had done him some personal wrong. "What the heck," he growled, kicking the frame lightly and hoping no one had seen him just straight up bite the road.
II. Text
I need a little advice. Every time I try to fall asleep my dreameater jumps on my chest to wake me up. And if it doesn't do that right away I wake up with it on my chest staring at me like it wants to eat me.
What should I do? This is really creepy.
EDIT: It's a mimicchu or whatever btw.

And it probably wants you to stop being lazy.

I'm not lazy. I'm trying to sleep at night like a normal person.
no subject
Yeah and how long do you sleep for? Have you even trained it yet?
no subject
idk like 7 hours? what do you mean train?
no subject
Seriously? You're suppose to be training it!
no subject
training how? should I make it break barrels or something?
no subject
No you should have it fight other Pokemon. You really are a moron.
no subject
how do you know all this stuff? is there a class or something?
no subject
No. I read stuff in my 'gear. Like a normal person. Idiot.
no subject
you don't have to be a jerk you know
no subject
And you don't have to be an idiot.

Action!
Nope, today was a chill day for Ash so he had been riding his Rhyhorn, Crash, around Celadon, to try and get the reckless Pokemon used to traveling through an urban environment. It was...going so-so. Some destruction but not total carnage, so that's an improvement!
But he sees Roxas wipe out and gently nudges Crash to trot over to him. Crash stomped, and immediately nosed Roxas in a friendly way but, he didn't really know how to manage his own power so he was kind of shoving into him a bit. HI FRIEND.
"Hey man. Crash watch it, you got a horn on ya nose-!" Ash patted Crash's head, trying to convince him to stop that. "Sorry about him. You alright?"
no subject
"Uh, yeah, I'm fine..." The blond stood quickly, brushing dirt off his clothes, cheeks flushed with embarrassment. He'd really hoped no one had seen that. "Just never ridden a bike before."
But wait, this guy wasn't riding a bike, he was riding a pokemon. Surely that was easier, right? "Hey... Is that normal for you? Riding that?" He left it at "that" because he had no idea what this creature's name was, and he'd been informed that calling them the wrong name offended them sometimes.

He gave Roxas a smile, slipping off Crash to properly meet him and patting his side. Roxas nudged his side affectionately, knocking Ash to the side. Which Ash also took in stride. They were well matched. "Here, I hadn't ridden a bike much before either. And when I did, it ended up getting crushed to bits by a stampede on the Cycling Road."
no subject
"That doesn't sound fun..." He missed his skateboard, though he knew even that wasn't the best way to get around. It wouldn't do him any good outside of the city, really. Watching the big beast with its master was sort of endearing, and Roxas couldn't help but marvel at their apparent bond.
"A stampede of what?" He asked cautiously. Of course, Ash was going to say some name he didn't recognize, but he could at least commit that name to memory and avoid whatever Ash said.

"I'd hopped off the bike to try and get out of the rain for a bit and dry off. Luckily I had several Pokemon with me; they noticed the stampede before I did. My Rapidash, she was just a Ponyta then, warned everyone and led the way, and Crash got me on his back and charged down with her. He couldn't outrun them but being on his back meant I didn't get crushed, and the bike was probably trampled to dust. He took their shocks like it was nothing and when they passed, he let me ride him until we made it to the next town." Ash spoke with all the charm of a storyteller, and on telling how Crash had helped saved his life, knelt and gave his head a hug. Crash snorted and nuzzled into him happily.
"Like, it really wasn't fun at the time. But I wasn't too badly hurt, just a bit shaken and I got hit by some stray sparks from the Zebstrika, thanks to this big doofus."
well you see
