*he shouldn't laugh, really, but this is amusing, okay?*

The pokemon certainly are remarkably good at finding ways to operate these devices anyway, aren't they?

[He scowls into the gear, a vein pulsing in his temple]

What do you think you're laughing at, you bastard!?

He grits his teeth, irritation obvious]

More like good at screwing with all my shit! How do they even pick it up? They don't even have hands!

*totally unfazed by that*

A mystery for all time, undoubtedly. But perhaps it was just trying to help you out? Some Pokemon seem to get the idea into their heads that it's good for their trainers to use their pokegear regularly, for some reason...

[Okay, so maybe Bakugou is one of the least social people you could ever meet, and maybe he feels a little called out by that, because maybe, just maybe his Pokemon has reason to want him to use his gear more; he's probably talked to a total of two people this entire time, and it wasn't even his idea.]

Well, they've sure got a fucked up idea of helping. This thing has teeth marks on it now. What's the point of using this thing, anyway? I'm doing just fine on my own! I don't see the point in transmitting everything I do to a bunch of idiot strangers.

As clever as many of them are, it's still typical for pokemon to... misunderstand things a bit. Usually they mean well, though.

*usually*

And I think most people use their pokegear to ask questions, or to broadcast announcements of things they want everyone to hear. Or sometimes because they're bored and want to talk to someone. You certainly don't have to put anything personal on it if you don't want to, after all.

In mine's case, I think he's just trying to make me look like an ass.

[Bakugou is fairly sure, however, that his Pokemon does just mean well, and that he wants him to interact with other trainers because he wants to be able to spend more time with other Pokemon. Bakugou is far too stubborn to interact with the other trainers for non-battle-related purposes, however. He's never made much effort to be social for the fun of it and he doesn't plan to start now.]

Personal or not, I don't want a bunch of dumbass nerds knowing my business. Like I'd wanna talk to any of these jerks unless I had a damn good reason.

You think so? He must not realize how common this sort of thing is, I doubt anyone would think to blame you for it when they've probably had to deal with the same sort of thing themselves...

*laugh at him, however.....*

Though, what sort of reason would be a good reason?

Like I give a damn what those losers think, anyway.

[He thinks for a moment, not really sure what would qualify as a good enough reason to actually go out of his way to reach out on purpose. It would definitely have to take a lot.]

I don't know. I guess maybe if my Pokemon was sick or something? I don't know shit about what to do about something like that.

[A beat.]

Does that kinda thing happen often?

*Sion will politely refrain from asking whether he'd mind if said "losers" were to laugh at it...*

Thankfully, no. Pokemon are remarkably resilient so long as they're properly cared for.

Yeah? Okay. Good. Are there a lot of people around here who'd theoretically know about taking care of them?

[A strangely accusatory finger is pointed at the screen]

You. Are you some kinda Pokemon expert?
