at least the wilderness is somewhat normal...except now i'm wondering how pokemon interact with people who travel. also that music won't stop playing subtly in the back of my mind. glad you got away from psycho mom though.

okay. maybe i have more issues with this place than i thought. at least Rhyhorn is cool...oh! i'll take a picture of him and send it your way.

he's like a regular rhino, except the pokedex tells me that he's rock and ground type. so i dunno the details behind pokemon biology, but i think he's pretty smart.

...well. this will sound weird, but my evil mirror self made mr. oshiro mad by telling him that his hotel was a dump. then he attacked me so i had to escape.

my mirror self didn't exactly give me good advice either. she's tried to hurt me on multiple occasions. as for how she came to be...i'll try to give you the short version.

i went on this expedition to climb a mountain back home. i found this old mirror in some ruins and it cracked, revealing her. my mirror self. she started chasing me, telling me i couldn't climb the mountain and that i should just go home

...she might be right. i was trying to talk with her, but she knocked me off right before i could reach the summit and i fell into a pool of water. when i woke up though...i was here instead of on the mountain.

I know right, it was on my top list of vacation plans. Right behind getting food poisoning at the breakfast buffet. #sarcasm forever

I honestly have no idea. It's just looking at me. There's like ....over 100 spirits in there, I'm hoping that maybe idk, some of them have given up being jerks. But knowing my luck....

Well as long as they don't possess people I'm calling it a win.

Mine was just in the mirror or water and just...talked. Turned out to be a time travel thing anyway so less evil, just me in the future trying to give myself advise. Didn't work out that great.

oh man...don't even get me thinking about food. i'm hoping whatever rations i have can last me until i get to the next town. i want some poutine and a beer, if this place even has that.

yeah...i'd keep it in the pokeball unless absolutely necessary. maybe you can trade it to someone else for a less creepy pokemon. or maybe the spirits will actually work together for some reason.

the world is full of weird and mystical things, i guess. it sounds like we've both been living a literal episode of the x-files.

possibly. i know it sounds strange, but i'm getting along with rhyhorn by just having him out of the pokeball and nearby. not sure how well that will work with a ghost though...

yeah. road trips are awesome. i guess that's the one good thing about this place...getting to campy and explore is really refreshing.

tbh i'm hoping the stores here are well stocked for wilderness travel. can't take some things with you if you're backpacking. smores are safe, thankfully :3

i left the first town about 3 hours ago, so...i can wait for you? traveling alone at night might not be the best plan. if anything i can wait for you at the next town.
