[Right. Well. This is happening, he supposes. Escape the Underworld just to end up somewhere that's downright pleasant. He'd be less suspicious of things if he hadn't been stripped of his weapons.

Or. Well. Most of his weapons? He's really not sure what to make of his new friend, but a sword with personality isn't exactly new to him. Whatever the deal is with it, it seems content to stick around.]

Well, guess it's just me and you, huh?

[He says that to the Honedge, but the Honedge has decided to leave Dante all alone. It's seen a new person, and it wants to say hi! Hello, new person, do you want to be friends?]

[It's the middle of the night, but that's not stopping Dante. He doesn't know how to stop. He never learned.]

Ah--! Well, hello there...

[Haru lets out a small noise of surprise at the Honedge's sudden approach, but she can't help but laugh a little. She looks around and when she spots Dante she waves to him.]

Is this one yours?

[Dante trudges after his Honedge, grumbling.]

Unfortunately. Seems like it just wants to do whatever the hell it wants to do.

[Which is say hi! It's such a good ghost.]

Quite the friendly little one.

[She chuckles, offering her hand to the sword-like Pokemon for it to investigate.

Down by her feet, Haru's Mimikyu squeaks as it peers from behind her skirt.]

Yeah, don't know where it got that from.

[The Honedge reaches out with its ribbon, wrapping around Haru's hand in an approximation of a handshake.]

[She returns the "hand"shake with a delighted laugh.]

It could simply be something inherent.

[Her own Ghost-type keeps staring at Dante, half-hidden.]

Did you just recently arrive?

[The honedge chirps, delighted.

Dante eyes the Mimikyu, before shrugging.]

Yeah, just showed up with this guy hanging around.

[Haru, that's a ghost sword.]

Well, if it's any reassurance, I'm a rather recent arrival as well... My name is Haru Okumura, pleased to meet you.

[The Mimikyu squeaks when she's eyed, scooting behind Haru again.]

... Ah, yes, and this little one is named Hydrangea.

[No last name needed! He doesn't react to the cute comment, at least.

Also...is he supposed to name the sword? It looks back at him expectantly, and Dante flounders for a moment.]

[She likes it. But the way she smiles, that 'like' may be because of something akin to an inside joke. Not that she's telling.

She bows very slightly--she is a polite young lady after all--and offers a smile.]

Since the two of us are both new to this place... why don't we get our bearings together? I'm not sure how I feel about walking around an unfamiliar area like this by myself...

[ blake is nearby with her own little friend -- a croagunk -- who also spots a new friend. the croagunk lets out a chirp and blake turns around to see a...sword. just. floating towards them. ]

A...sword Pokemon? [ well that's interesting. ] Hi there.

[The Honedge does a little spin, excited, as Dante trudges up after it.

He runs a hand through his hair, grumbling.]

Can't you just leave people alone? Geez...

[bladecaller]

[ oh-! it has a trainer. blake blinks before she looks up at the man. her croagunk walks up to honedge to say hello with a few croaks! ]

Oh, it's yours. [ it's a good thing she didn't try to catch it or anything. (she was tempted to.) ] It's fine, I don't mind.

[The Honedge seems delighted by this, offering a ribbon to the Croagunk.]

Yeah, its mine. [Apparently. Dante's pretty sure that's some nonsense, though.

He arches an eyebrow at her.]

Right, sure.

[bladecaller]

[ the croagunk extends its hand towards the ribbon and smiles. new friends new friends! ]

At least they're getting along. [ she grins. it's actually a really adorable display. ] But we might be here for a while if they keep this up.

[The Honedge wraps the ribbon around the Croagunk's hand, letting out a chirping and shaking it like it's a handshake.

Dante groans. Someone's a party pooper.]

Yeah, I don't have the time for that.

[He says like he actually has anything to do...]

[ now it's blake's turn to raise an eyebrow at him. the croagunk starts dancing around. he's a happy toad. ]

You have somewhere to be?

[ she pauses and looks at her pokemon. ] I mean, I can make him stop.

[Gosh...That toad is so happy.

He hesitates for a moment, before letting out a resigned sigh.]

Eh, I'm sure they can wait just a bit longer.

[He says like there's definitely someone waiting for him...]

Name's Dante. That's Rebellion.

Blake, and this is...Croagunk.

[ no nicknames for this toad. she takes out her pokedex and logs rebellion's information. huh... ]

Why'd you name it "Rebellion"?

[Dante can't even judge. He didn't name Rebellion until it seemed like he had to.

He shrugs, acting flippant.]

Seems like a good name for a sword.
