[Arriving in town after at least a week of walking should be the perfect time to kick back and relax for a while, right? Well, somebody please inform this idiot, who walks in from a long journey off Route 31 and immediately starts jogging around the City with the energy of a six-year-old on Red Bull. Twice. And then starts a third round. Even his Honedge is starting to lag behind him despite not having to, you know, walk.]
Come on, Sick Floaty Sword! Get your blood flowing -- or, oil, or whatever you have!
[He busts up laughing at his own horrible joke, without even slowing his pace. Meanwhile, Honedge is withering away. Please, for the love of everything, think of the poor Pokemon.]
[Craig has quickly gotten familiar enough with the PokeGear to broadcast, though he still looks very out of place in... an honest to god full suit of armor, sans helmet. And he hasn't really come to terms with Pokemon, which is obvious enough when he opens his stupid mouth.]
Listen. I know horses like the back of my hand, but donkeys can't be that different, right? Except --
[The video shifts as he turns the camera toward a rather irritated looking Mudbray with its snout in the ground.] -- I can't get mine to stop eating dirt! Now, I know that can't be good for it.
[The feed trembles as he shakes his dented fist in and out of the corner.] I'm trying to help you, you know! Stop biting me!
[But, with all that said, she can't help but smile. She hides it behind a hand and doesn't dare start her own feed until she's sobered up, but there was a smile all the same.]
[Listen, she just likes seeing him in pain.]
How long have you been here? And the locals are already attempting to maul you?
no subject
Craig whirls the camera around again (hope you don't get motionsick, Mei) and positively beams into it. A familiar face in this bizarre world is definitely welcome, even if he can expect a beating as soon as she finds him.]
Oh, you know me, Meiara, I just ask for it!
It's only been a few minutes, though. Couple of hours, at most?
no subject
And yet -- look at you. [Deadpan as ever, she is.] I am surprised that the village hasn't set you to flame yet.
no subject
You think they'd do that?
[She asked for this. She knew this was coming.]
no subject
No. [It serves as both an answer and a warning. Already, she can feel her patience wearing thin. How his partner managed to deal with him on a regular basis was truly beyond her.]
Do you ever stop being -- [A beat] Being you?
no subject
For now, he'll just give a sigh and a chiding look to the creature before tilting his head at the camera.]
What kinda animal did you get saddled with, anyway?
no subject
The faint glow emanating from the cracks was pleasant at least?
She lifts the creature high enough for Craig to see it in all its stony glory. She's grateful to have the camera off her for the time being.]
Couldn't tell you what it is. It seems friendly enough. Not to mention quiet.
no subject
Now, how long until he can make her punch him ten times like she did on that asteroid...]
Aww, you got a... rock! [His tone is absolutely not apologetic, what are you talking about. No pity here! Although...] At least it won't eat itself to death.
no subject
I simply have to worry about yours eating it.
no subject
Hey! Leave -- my weird donkey out of it! He -- she? -- it didn't do anything to you! [Yes, Craig. Defend the animal that has bitten you with those rock hard equine teeth about five times now. Though in its defense, it was Craig's own fault...]
no subject
Yes, you're right. You are the only jackass in this scenario.
no subject
Haha, you got me! Right on the nose, huh? Guess I can lay to rest the idea that that kinda joke's above you.
no subject
[At her feet, the creature stirs, rattling its plating and letting out a small sound. She allows her gaze to drift downward, patting its "head" rather awkwardly]
You're upsetting my... Rock.
no subject
Maybe I can apologize in person, if you wanna meet up and figure out where to go from here?
no subject
What's in it for me?
