you've already given your Pokémon coffee, haven't you?

Does nobody know what hypotheticals are in this place?

Fine, yes, my pokemon drank coffee, but I didn't give it to him.
He drank mine while I was asleep.

next time try actually being subtle.

you'll have to ask the nurse about your Pokémon specifically. each kind is capable of eating different things. there is a horse that eats dirt and others absorb electricity, so it's hard to tell what "human" substances could be hurtful or not by "don't feed this to the dog" standards.

Yeah, I'm gonna pass on the freaky nurses.
Are there no normal, non-identical healers in this place?

there are, but they are private practices. Pokécenters are free. they aren't so bad if you think of them as infinite twins.

[Riz is actually stunned into textual silence for a moment. That sort of thinking is... just no???]

Pretending the dangerous thing is not a dangerous thing doesn't actually stop it from being dangerous.
It just makes it more dangerous.

[Dragons don't stop eating your dad and trying to take over the world and severely ruining prom just because you pretend they are big lizards. Infinite mirror image nurses don't stop smell like the most obvious trap just because you pretend they are twins.]

a very sensible sentiment I agree with. but I've been here for a little over a month now and I can confirm they aren't dangerous. people who have arrived a decade ago also reached that conclusion. I know this world smells too good and utopian to be true, but outside your standard bandits, nothing had come out to prove the opposite

what's more important? your companion's health or your paranoia?

He drank coffee, not poison!
I'm sure he'll be fine once he stops... twitching.

In any case, usually, my paranoia is what keeps my companions safe.

you're not very sure if you're looking for medical attention.

a little paranoia doesn't hurt anybody, but don't let it get in the way of listening to people's experiences.
