Route 29

[ It had taken quite a while for Fluttershy to really understand what was happening, and even longer for her to calm down once she realized she was in a strange new place by herself. Well, not quite by herself exactly. She had...what had her mother - not her mother - called it? Her partner Pokémon?

It had taken a few more minutes, once letting her partner out of the Pokéball, for her to understand that the creature didn't want to hurt her. The opposite, in fact, this...Audino, was it? Was here to help. Which did make her feel a little better, though she couldn't help wondering what sort of creature it was. It certainly was unlike any kind of animal she'd ever seen.

But apparently that was normal here, she discovered as Audino encouraged her to explore the surrounding area. She could see some bird-like creatures, some rodent-like creatures, some bugs and various others...but there were also some that looked like plants? And even some egg-like creatures.

Well, if she had any more doubts about being in another world, she didn't anymore.

But eventually the edge of panic slowly faded, as she encountered more of these Pokémon along the route. Her curiosity and excitement over getting to meet and learn about new animals was taking over, and eventually she found a spot on the side of the route to settle down and sit a while, surrounded by a large group of Pokémon that were all buzzing and chattering around her while her Audino stands nearby. ]

Oh, thank you all so much for staying with me a while. I was feeling so anxious before, but getting to talk with all of you really has helped me feel better, and I really appreciate it.

Network - Video

[ There is a very nervous-looking girl onscreen, who seems to be hiding behind her hair as she avoids looking at the camera. After a moment of the girl simply fidgeting, an Audino appears beside her, patting shoulder her and making encouraging sounds. Another moment and the girl finally sighs, pushing back her hair a bit as she swallows nervously. ]

H- [ It comes out in a bit of a squeak, so she clears her throat and tries again. ] H-Hello...I-I've, um...just arrived here, and I'm...looking for my friends. I-I'm not...sure if they're here too, but...i-if anyone has heard of...Twilight Sparkle, or Sunset Shimmer, or Rainbow Dash, or Applejack, or Rarity, or Pinkie Pie...I-I'd really appreciate it if you'd let me know.

[ The Audino then speaks up again, a bit more urgently, and she glances back at it before nodding. ]

O-Oh, you're right, I'm sorry. [ She turns back to the camera and clears her throat again. ] S-Sorry. My name is...F-Fluttershy. If you know any of my friends, p-please...let them know that I'm looking for them.

[Alberto wasn't sure what to make of waking up in a strange place where a stranger called herself his mother, but when he saw his Totodile and started to learn about Pokemon training... Well, it was pretty cool, right? And if he was going to do this whole gym-battling, league-challenging adventure, why not do an amazing job of it? So by the time the teen is on Route 29, he's feeling pretty confident - or at least, making a good show of feeling such. Same thing, right? Sort of.

He's looking for Pokemon to add to his team when he sees a girl surrounded by Pokemon, and he can't help staring. He's impressed.]

Wow, I've never seen so many of them with one person before. [Of course, he did just get here...] Are they all on your team?

[ She startles a bit, and the Pokémon around her rush to hide behind her. Glancing up, she takes a breath before shaking her head. ]

O-Oh...no, not really. I-I just...met them a little bit ago, and they were kind enough to stay with me a while.

[ Slowly, the Pokémon peek out from behind her, and she gently pats the heads of the two closest ones. ]

You didn't catch any of them, and they're still just hanging out around you?

[He sits down on the spot, grinning.]

You gotta teach me how you did that.

[ A few more of the Pokémon peek out curiously, and she gently coaxes them out from hiding. ]

I just…talk with them. And listen to what they have to say.

[Those... certainly were some names, weren't they? Well. He's known weirder, he supposes.]

I haven't heard hide nor hair of those lasses, but I'll certainly keep an ear out.

Are you alright?

O-Okay...thank you.

[ Her face flushes slightly, and she nods despite still fidgeting a bit. ]

Y-Yes, I'm...all right. Mostly. I think. [ Yes, because that is so convincing. ] S-Sorry, I just, uh...get nervous, s-speaking in public. And Allegra says that everyone would be able to see this, so...

Ahh, I see. I can certainly sympathize with that lass, I hardly wanted anythin' to do with the public until I had to. Why, these days I still tend to prefer being by myself, short of the presence of family that is.

Allegra would be your Pokemon there, then?

[ She nods a little. Even though it's gotten a bit better lately, she still doesn't like being the center of attention unless she really had to. ] Y-Yeah...though I guess this is just the easiest way to communicate with people.

[ So she'll get used to it...probably. ]

O-Oh...yes, sir. Allegra is my Audino. [ The Audino in question waves from behind Fluttershy. ]

[Answering the phone is... another young lady who looks about Fluttershy's age, maybe just a smidge older, and with colors that wouldn't look out of place on Fluttershy's earth: moon white hair, warm skin, bright blue eyes and surprisingly bright purple pupils. The pink marks under the corners of her eyes might be new though, and the pointed ears.]

It's nice to meet you, Fluttershy, I am Allura. I can't say that I have heard any of those names before, but there is a chance at least one of them might be here. This place tends to bring people in and out at random.

[ She deflates a little bit. She'd suspected that her friends weren't here, and even though someone not knowing them wasn't a deciding factor, she'd known that they would also respond to her if they are. ]

Y-Yeah, I...I noticed. B-But thank you anyway, Allura. It's...nice to meet you as well.

[ And she does mean it, even if she can't quite make herself to sound that way. But this is all still a tad overwhelming, and being without her friends makes it even moreso. ]

[Ah... she notices the face fall at least.]

If it helps, it took a short time before my friends from home responded to my making a similar broadcast. [She doesn't want to give false hope, but it's not an unreasonable thing to expect either.] I wish you the best in finding them.

[Aaaand not wanting to be left out, a tiny white fox pokes her head into the frame and gives a soft bark. Hello, friend~]

[ She's not entirely confident, but then she'd always been a glass half-full kind of person, so it could be possible. ] Right...thank you.

[ And she'd normally leave it at that, if not for the adorable little fox that pops into view. Immediately her face brightens again. ]

Oh my goodness! How cute! Is that your partner Pokémon?

[A simple bark of "yes!," which earns a soft chuckle from Allura as she pats her head floof.]

Yes. This is Coressa; she's a Vulpix, specifically the Alolan morph.

["Regional form," she means. It's still taking her a bit to break from the terms she learned in biology classes back in her world.]

[ Fluttershy doesn't quite notice the strange wording, too busy looking at the Pokémon. ]

Oh, she's so lovely! It's nice to meet you too, Coressa!

[To learn more about this world, Loki had to travel around as much as he could. Especially if he wanted to be familiar with how pokemon were like as well as how others treat them. Even if he was part of this crime syndicate, he knew observing and adapting was the best way.

Curiously, Loki heard a lot of noise coming from a nearby area. Coming closer he saw a young girl practically surrounded by all sorts of pokemon. How in the world did she get them so close to her? Loki placed his hands on his hips as gazed for a bit, before deciding to speak.]

My my... Seems you have many friends there with you, that's quite impressive.

[ She squeaks in surprise, causing the Pokémon around her to startle as well. Some scatter, others hide behind her, but her Audino steps up to stand beside her as she glances up. ]

O-Oh, um...th-thank you.

[Holding up hands, at least trying to seem like he comes in peace to these pokemon who all ran behind her. Loki gave an curious tilt of his head.]

Ah, seems I've frighten the lot, apologies...

How did you manage to get all their trust though, I must ask?

O-Oh, um…it’s okay. [ Glancing around her, she gently coaxes the Pokémon to come out from behind her. ]

A-Actually, they were the ones who…came to check on me, and see if I was all right. I-I just got here, you see, and was feeling really frightened. S-So they came up and talked with me a while, t-to help me feel better.

[Loki's eyes widen a bit in surprise. She must be some incredible empath to have these pokemon come to her, or something quite charming about her. She does seem sweet, but he doesn't know enough to determine more than that. He gave a small chuckle in amusement.]

Well, pokemon are quite intelligent creatures... Perhaps they really did pick up on your distress.

[Relaxing shoulders and as leaned a little lower to make himself seem more open to approach, placing his hands in his pockets to seem more natural as well.]

What has you so frightened? Is it just coming to this new world?

[ She smiles, nodding a little. ]

They really are! They remind me of the animals back home, except these have special powers.

[ Some of the Pokémon that had fled are slowly stating to return, and Fluttershy holds out her hands out for some of the bird Pokémon to land on. ]

W-Well, sort of…Being in a new world is a bit frightening, but it’s not the first time it’s happened to me. I-It’s just…usually when something happens, I’m also with my friends from home. B-But they don’t seem to be here.

We have quite an array of interesting creatures on Asgard and I've encountered many more outside our plane. So I know some that are a little similar, Aragorn were winged horses that the Valkries would ride to battle. They are quite majestic like some of these pokemon can appear to be as well as exhibiting some power.

[Loki watched in observation as some of the pokemon who retreated made their return. The corners of lips now curved in a curious smile. Interested to see someone like her could lure them with ease out. Then as she explained why she was a bit scared he gave a small sigh.]

Oh I see...

[Admittedly, Loki couldn't say much on that matter, he was used to being alone and relying mostly on himself. But back at his time with the TVA, made him a miss a couple of actual real friends he thought he had. He cleared his throat, looking down, trying to hide his face on the sad subject.]

Yes I, I can understand wanting to see them again and, I hope you do soon... You don't have to be afraid though, there are plenty of people here that will be nice to you in the meantime I'm sure.

[Gestures to the pokemon.]

Seems it doesn't take much time for that too.

Winged horses? Like a Pegasus?

[ She perked up a little at the thought, but she sober up again when he talks about other people. ]

O-Oh…yes, I’m sure the people here are very nice. I-I…just sometimes have a bit of trouble talking to…people.

Mm yes, I believe Midgardians called them by that name too.

[Gazes a bit softer in sympathy.]

Well, we're talking, that's a good start so far... I'm Luka, an entrepreneur to this new world of ours, may have your acquaintance?

[ She debates on mentioning that she’s been a Pegasus once, but decides not to. It might sound too weird. ]

Y-Yeah…that’s true. [ She does manage a small smile. ] M-My name is…Fluttershy. It’s nice to meet you.

S-So…are you not from this world either?
