[It has taken Caesar... considerable time to figure out how the Gear works.

He's still not a master of it, and the video's a bit shaky, but he's trying. There is also a Popplio on his lap trying to shove her face into the camera, which is decidedly not helping.]

I'll admit, I haven't been so... creative with names for my companions. Most of them have simply been names used in my homeland. This one here-- [He indicates the Popplio.] --I named Allegra.

[ Haha, aw, look at that thing. It looks like a little circus seal. Rose finds herself smiling without really recognizing that she is. That seems to be happening a lot here already. ]

Hey, that's still something! Inspiration from home. Maybe I could name mine after some famous musicians... [ Of course, 'famous' may be subjective. The idea of a Pokemon going by the name of 'Snoop Dogg' though is amazing. ] But more common names might not be a bad place to start either.

[Caesar nods, finally steadying the camera a bit as Allegra seems to settle down. He smiles faintly, shifting his Gear to one hand so he can pet the Popplio.]

Both are good options, I think. They'd both be easy to remember.

Well, my Snom- [ a point to the ice bug thing on her shoulder ] -has been dubbed 'Little Guy.'

So, you know, he kind of breaks the mold already. [ A beat, considering. ] Wait, how many of these things can we even have? I've seen, like, so many already.

[The question actually makes Caesar pause to think about the answer.]

I'm under the impression you can only have six with you at a time as you travel, but I haven't heard much more beyond that, actually...

[ Huh. She'll have to figure it out but six honestly seems like a good number. Especially since she thinks she saw, like, some stupidly huge bird with a weird combover. ]

And how many do you have in total?

[bolledivita]

Just three. Allegra here, and then... Ah, hold on one moment.

[He'll go ahead and let out his other Pokemon real quick--a Surskit and a Pachirisu, then unsteadily turns his Gear's camera towards the two. He focuses on the Surskit first.]

That one's Chiara, and that's-- [Shifting to focus on the Pachirisu now.] Luciano.

[ Oh. Oh, no. The woman beams at the sight of the other Pokemon with him. ]

They're adorable. Look at its cute little legs, that tail- [ She is the very definition of starry-eyed. ]
