shinobu kochou / kny
These little creatures are really quite cute, aren't they? [ pictured: a weedle chewing on a stick, with shinobu's hand gently petting their little head. seems they like being scratched under the chin. ]
The horn and stinger are quite unique, are they not? I wonder what this wonderful boy will evolve into! Rarely can you tell an insect from their larval stage. Already the poison it produces is quite strong- for someone my size, at least! [ shinobu laughs, like bells in the wind. ] I wonder what could be done to make the poison even stronger!
b) slowpoke well, action
[ after the long travel to azalea town, it is nice to rest. shinobu is used to endless travel; nights, days, dawns, and more spent running, sprinting, even just walking towards a unceasing destination. be it the butterfly mansion, or a mission far north, south, where ever, shinobu is used to going where she's needed.
here, here gives her time to rest, to see the sights- and what sights! asking where to visit from the locals, shinobu finds a well, with little water still inside, but when she peaks over the cobble, she sees more of those delightful creatures rolling in the muck and grime. how adorable. not for the first time, shinobu wishes her sisters were here to see. they would be able to appreciate these circumstances far more than shinobu ever could.
the thought of kanae with one of these silly creatures, of kanao holding one close despite the filth, of aoi cleaning them vigorously. those girls deserve this kind of happiness. shinobu will simply live for them, in this world. pulling a berry from her sleeve, shinobu drops it down, careful not to hit any of the slowpoke at the bottom. she watches them eat, she smiles, and claps her hands together.
for her sisters, a prayer. ]

hmu with whatever you want :)

Hi there. Looks like you're really enjoying your Weedle.
[He's not terribly fond of them himself, after getting waylaid many times by them on the first leg of his journey. But ... okay, this one enjoying affection is pretty cute.]

I have to admit, I didn't know Weedles could be that affectionate. That's nice. This world really is full of cute animals.

[Radley smiles a bit but looks rather melancholy now. After the evil he witnessed back home, he's afraid he feels that some people can never be good, nor would they want to be. Still, he has seen friendship transcend at least some boundaries.]

[He chuckles as Evie the Eevee jumps up next to him and nuzzles him.]

I've never seen a dumb bug with a horn. I have seen plenty of bug demons and demons with horns. Do the math.

there's a (B)EE?
Soon enough, the culprit flutters into view, only a couple of feet off the ground. A creature vaguely resembling a bee approaches, flying only a short distance at a time before careening back to the ground. The scent of the berries draw it closer, and it's almost upon the little gathering when a distant, shaky voice echoes off the walls of the underground.]
Tink? Tinker Bell, where are you? Please, you need to eat!

[ It's the faint yelling that makes her perk up from where she's feeding the little insect a potion, looking back down the well and calling down. ]
Hello? Are you in trouble? I can help!
that feel when you're so excited your reading comprehension flies out the window
Oh, please. That would be appreciated. I'm looking for a little -- oh, Tinker Bell! Oh, thank you --
[And it's moments after he spots the Pokemon that he realizes exactly who is holding her. It's bizarre and incongruous in this particular world to come across one another, but Senjuro would recognize the Hashira on sight.
Immediately, he grows more flustered, dropping down and bowing low.]
I -- I apologize. My incompetence isn't -- should not be your burden.
[This is absolutely humiliating.]
honestly, me too
Senjurou-kun, correct? Is this sweet creature yours?
no subject
Yes, ma'am. She's... She tends to wander off, but she gets very tired quickly, you see, so I try to keep an eye on her... I just got a bit turned around down there. Thank you for looking after her. I'm very sorry to trouble you.

Video; un BestSetter
[Mean in his experiences, at least, having fought against a few of them. Nasty battlers and good with poisoning his Pokémon.
Though Tooru gives her a questioning look about making the poison stronger, just a tiny (maybe a lot) bit concerned.]
But why would you want to make poison stronger? It's not like you'd need it in a place that's peaceful.
[Mostly...]

[ And in a second, Shinobu shifts-- She tips her head to the side, the glint in her eye gone, her smile wide as she expands on her point. ]
You never know when you might need the protection, of course! A poison strong enough can protect thousands of people, don't you think, BestSetter-san?

[Whoops, his username there might cause this to happen again, but that's a future Tooru problem.
Though he nods, seeing her point. Even if there's really no need in his experiences these past few months. Aside from angry Braviary, nothing dangerous has occurred. Yet.]
I suppose you're right, but I don't think anything too dangerous will happen to need to defend ourselves with that. That's what the Pokémon are for, like this guy here.
[He shifts the camera's view to his Luxray, who he's been leaning against.]

A; video (if you're okay with some backtagging)
[She's quite eager to talk about science with someone, instead of a roaming NPC, hence the curious reaction upon seeing how gentle the Weedle is.]
Where did you catch him?
