CR MEME!

It's been a while since we had one of these, so lets all gather for a nice little CR meme.

Please share your ideas of interactions you'd love your character to have, or plots you are rolling around in your head that might need a few more folks. Is your character looking for a friend? An enemy? A rival? You could find it all here. And remember, the more detailed, the better! We all want all the CR, but specific plans, or at least a specific direction you want to take something in, will really help out everybody involved.

Like before, this CR meme will also include a template specifically geared towards Rocket CR. Please fill it in to let our Rocket members know how you feel about getting your characters involved in some crime.

Cliffnotes: Tragic backstory is an understatement when it comes to Sion, but if you want to you can read a monster of a summary here and be horrified. Beyond that, he's been in Johto over a decade and has been a gym leader for a number of years now, so he's mellowed a bit. Still a big ball of issues, though, it just hides under that friendly, all-loving exterior.
Looking for: PEOPLE TO CALL HIM OUT ON HIS ISSUES. Seriously. This takes quite a bit of building up trust though so it's definitely a bit of a long-haul thing! Maybe someone to start a prank war with...
Recent post: None at the moment; I'll probably try to bring the Mad Hero out in 4th wall though, so if you're interested in hearing more about that lmk!

Cliffnotes: Shy kid sired by a fay who has huge hangups about his appearance. And being social in general. Has been improving on this somewhat over the past year, and is currently traveling/staying with Sandalphon! He's also starting to show a real talent for strategy in pokemon battling for all his initial hangups about it, who'd have thought?
Looking for: More friends! Also, people to actually help teach him things--he's barely able to read, his writing looks like a preschooler's, and he doesn't even know that math exists as a subject. Please teach him everything, he's a nerd so he'd love it.

Cliffnotes: Somewhat asocial old mercenary who thinks immortality's a curse and who's so deadpan good luck telling when he's actually joking. He has a lot of secrets and some very old traumas/emotional wounds he still hasn't gotten over, but if you need some hired muscle he's your man.
Looking for: People who won't leave him alone. Alternatively people willing to just... do random threads and see if something clicks. Geddoe doesn't always mesh with everyone but if you do get through to him he's pretty devoted!

Note that both Sion and Geddoe are fairly savvy and Sion in particular has very deep-seated but very high functioning paranoia, so neither are likely to be remotely easy targets. ~~Shrike would be but do you REALLY want to do that to the kid??~~ Both Sion and Geddoe will also actually hit you rather than just relying on pokemon to battle!

Hi there! I’m LWP, Allura’s mun; just wanted to pop in and say I love the design for the Collegiate Gym. Expect a challenge request or two in the coming weeks!

I definitely would love to get some CR going with Shrike and Louie. They're both strategic battlers, but what's really catching my interest is Shrike needing to learn thing. Louie has already done a lot of "teaching other kids things" through his CR with Rei, but that's mostly been social or otherwise rather abstract stuff. I love the idea of him teaching Shrike some basic reading/writing/math things! The actual lessons might be more handwaved, at least with math because man I hate math lol, even playing a character teaching simple math sounds not great. But still, that could lead to deeper CR with things that would actually be played out! Let me know your thoughts.

HELLO YES I was busy getting ready for/going to an anime con but this could be interesting! ~~Handwaving details is perfectly fine too because who really wants to write out entire lessons anyway~~

It might take a little while for Shrike to warm up to him because the kid is still pretty shy, but on the other hand, explaining stuff to him probably is a good way to get his attention, so

And great, I like how all of that sounds-- Louie will be a little unsure at first himself, because he likes it when he can read people to some degree and get a feel for them, and shy people make that harder! But I think that'll make it some interesting CR, and he'll be happy to explain things

Well I do have a toplevel up for him in the 4th wall post where he's messing around with some magecraft stuff, if that's something that would catch Louie's attention! And actually, Shrike is enough of a nerd that if you can get him talking about what he's doing he's likely to start shifting into excitedly rambling, so.

Oh that could be fun! Louie's feelings on magic are complicated, haha. I'll hit that up when I tag next, thanks!
