It's been a while since we had one of these, so lets all gather for a nice little CR meme.

Please share your ideas of interactions you'd love your character to have, or plots you are rolling around in your head that might need a few more folks. Is your character looking for a friend? An enemy? A rival? You could find it all here. And remember, the more detailed, the better! We all want all the CR, but specific plans, or at least a specific direction you want to take something in, will really help out everybody involved.

Cliffnotes: Mission command, in a way, for the player character. Until just after her canon points where she becomes God, but w/e. She's trying to grow her reputation right now, and is looking to take on the gym challenge while experimenting with strategies. Likely after Fourth Wall, she'll be going for her first Gym Badge! She's a nice woman, and cares so deeply for others.
Looking for: I would love for Minfilia to get mentors, and to also get people who can teach her that she doesn't need to lead. She's spent most of her life studying the secrets of her star and guiding others - she deserves to be guided and cherished as herself. That she doesn't need to rush to establish a new branch of the Scions of the Seventh Dawn. (Which I see as her long-term goal - establish a base for herself and allies to study secrets and hunt down dangerous Pokemon, if needed. They might not be Primal, but it is a thing she can do. For she cannot help but want to be of aid to the star...)

I also made a list, recently, of Pokemon I think would fit Minfilia. Linked here. I think it's funny that Minfilia is becoming a cat lady. But if there's other obscure Pokemon you think would fit her team, I'd like to know that as well.

Kazuki’s outward most persona is that of a golden retriever. He’s a sweet, bumbling, clumsy puppy that just wants to give you his paw and get the Milkbone in your pocket. He’s genuinely kind and friendly to everyone, and thus, everyone seems to know his name.

And that really is him. He’s not putting on a front. He loves music (he plays the trumpet professionally, and was studying to become a music teacher). He believes the best in people. He loves to have fun, and having fun with his friends even more. All he wants is everyone around him to feel good and be happy.

However, he’s also fairly self-aware. He knows he’s too much sometimes. He knows that he can be annoying, and he’s not really the smartest, and that he’s “anzen-pai,” the safe choice, the obvious virgin. I’m not joking. He calls himself that. I can’t make this shit up. So he also carries a quiet sort of sadness in him as well, and suffers a bit from imposter syndrome, as he’s not as musically talented as his peers.

He's been in VR for coming on 5 years. In that time, he's developed the Silver Horn, an inn for people and a rehabilitation center for wild Pokemon. His doors are open 24/7 to anyone that needs help, or a soft place to land. If a character wants to work there, or help out in general, there's a sign-up on the provided page!

Looking for: Kazuki is definitely my most open character. Because of his kind heart, he's likely to engage with nearly anybody at least once. The Silver Horn also acts as a great icebreaker if you want your character to get to know him. There's very little that is out of his character when it comes to positive interaction. He's also a pretty easy target for negative CR, but he's not the type to engage in bad behavior. If you're looking for a new enemy, this is not your guy.

I basically just want him to be friends with everyone, because that's what he's good at. I'm also open to shipping and/or relationship attempts from either gender. While he's from a datesim game, he's never been in a relationship. And he's 23 now, lol.

I also want to do more music related stuff with him in the near future.

Cliffnotes: Emet is an entirely too old immortal that is more or less tsundere about mortals, he's highly critical of other people, just all around a grouchy grandpa (who has also done a lot of messed up stuff, but that's neither here nor there...), yet under it all he's a fairly sensitive man who cares way too much and can be alturistic to a fault (he buckles when people plead for his assistance, for example). However, some of these traits have been warped with age and traumatic experiences, and so he can be pretty damn cruel when he feels it's warranted, as well as obscenely stubborn on his perspective and values. He exudes condescension by default and can just be a right pain in the ass when he wants to be.

If you enjoy prickly grouches who are soft underneath, with a dash of complicated morality, and a smidge of theatrics, he might be right for you. He and Hythlodaeus have a shiny breeding ranch/trainer lodge just south of Goldenrod as well, which might give some ample opportunities for possible run ins/cr chances!
Looking for: Honestly I hate to be like "anything" but that's truly the case here. Emet bounces off other characters in very interesting ways, whether it's positive or negative cr, and so I kinda love seeing what comes of him interfacing with a bunch of different character types!

He is part of Team Rocket, Beta rank, and so there's some potential for shenanigans with that, though he is less active than some others. He tends to go for bigger scoresーthe Yamasquerade last year was on him, for example.

Listen I am just looking forward to whatever happens between these two. End goal? Maybe a little less prickly. Maybe.

Cliffnotes: Louie is part of a big, adventuring family-- And while he loves the idea of treasure, he really doesn't care for the treasure-hunting. Lazy and often scared, he'd rather scheme his way to wealth. By the end of the series, he learned that this can go quite badly for everyone involved. Instead, he's started using his skill for analyzing situations and their patterns to help on adventures. In VR, he's continued to grow more moral by virtue of having friends that are truly his own for the first time, instead of friends made through other family members. He still likes to make money, though!
Looking for: More friends, honestly! They can be around his age, Louie just turned 14 in-game last month, but intergenerational friendships with adults are nothing new. Right now, most of his close friends are a bit more lowkey in certain ways - excluding backstory, lmao - and I'd love to see him connect with someone more adventurous and enthusiastic? It'd be a nice way for him to further accept and get comfortable with the exciting lifestyle his family has.

Cliffnotes: I play Jean post-timeskip, right before the raid on Libero (for those that are in the know). He's 20 now in VR. He's been here for nearly 3 years.

Jean, on the outside, is a very confrontational, prickly person. At first, he tends to interact with people in an antagonistic kind of way, either providing bait or taking it, and seeing what comes from that. It's pretty easy for him to get into a frenemy relationship with basically anyone who will indulge him. But that's just his surface level.

Once someone is able to break through his tough outer layer, they'll find that he's actually quite a loyal, steadfast person. He's very much ride-or-die with the people that make into his inner circle. Despite being an incurable asshole, he has a fairly strong moral compass, and has a tendency to fall into philosophical arguments due to the horrible nature of his world and the life he's led as a soldier.

He honestly should have completed his gym challenge a year ago, I've just sucked at the maintained required since I started working full time lol. He really enjoys Pokemon battles, and high speed trick flying on his Mega Pidgeot.

Cliffnotes: Gobo's personality, in short, is that he's the quintessential Leader. He puts others first, sometimes (most times) to his own detriment, tries to do what he thinks is best, and enjoys blazing new trails and sharing those results. He's not without his faults though, of which he has MANY, least of which is his temper. He's also stubborn, which has led to injury ~~and near death~~ more than once, and feels like he's forever stuck in his uncle's shadow, but he's slowly stepping away from all this.

As far as in the game, right now he's on the Sevii Islands, enjoying a BREAK. He's going pretty light on his breeder duties, but is always sticking his nose in where it doesn't belong, and trying to find out everything about Pokemon. ...And also try to figure out this weird little new feeling he has in his heart about someone very close to him.
Looking for: Friends with more breeders, for one thing. Not only to expand his own techniques and stock, but just have someone to chat with about it at the end of the day. Additionally, more people to expand his world view, particularly those experienced with magic in all its forms. And finally, I'm definitely not opposed to negative CR, he's got a temper and isn't afraid to clapback to someone if he really feels they deserve it, and honestly that could be fun to play out.

G'rhyf is friendly and energetic, the sort of person that you barely have to try to pull into some Dumb Shenanigans TM, but is also a lot more clever than you might give them credit for. They're from the end of Endwalker, so if you need any spoilers avoided just let me know!
Looking for: I'd like to widen their CR pool a bit, maybe start some dumb trainer rivalries or maybe some Fite Friends to burn off some energy with. It's been like three months and they haven't gotten to punch one giant monster in the snoot, they want a refund.

Cliffnotes: In a population of fun-loving Fraggles, Boober is the wet blanket-- He's an anxious, moody pessimist who's preoccupied with disaster and death. That said, he enjoys life in his own way, mostly through quiet, cozy times. Boober's trade is laundry, but he's also a cook and a fledgling doctor, or more of a healer-- All things that let him take care of those he loves, which is one of his driving forces.
Looking for: Boober's made some wonderful friendships in VR, and I'd love to continue that trend. He's the equivalent to in his early/mid twenties but some older and wiser friends would be awesome. More characters who will be patient with him but still encourage him to come out of his shell are great, but I'd also like to see him grow close to people who will more actively push him outside his comfort zone, in time. He certainly has many friends like that in canon, so it works if other characters are willing to deal with him being a glum sourpuss.

Also, while he'll eventually be involved with his friend and canonmate Gobo, I really love the idea of him having a crush on someone before he figures out those feelings, mostly because I think it would be a sweet way for him to overcome some lingering negative feelings about those who aren't Fraggles. Let me know if you'd be interested in that with an age-appropriate character and we'll see if it seems plausible? It wouldn't go anywhere but would be fun! Still, I know even with him human in VR, it might be a little weird for people meta-ly, so I don't want to just assume and go for it!

Cliffnotes: In his world, Riz is a teenage adventurer (well, going to school for it), a licensed private detective, and also technically a part-time consultant with the Lower Planar Reconnaissance Task Force (AKA Heavenly spies). He is essentially a Goblin Veronica Mars, but more feral. He's part of an adventuring party called the Bad Kids, and they are all his best (and to some degree, only) friends.

Riz lives the mystery-solving lifestyle, whether it is going on quests for school, solving the mysterious disappearance of his babysitter or trying to figure out why socks keep disappearing in the washing machine (he suspects a poltergeist). At any given time, he has several case boards and ongoing conspiracy theories. His work-life balance is absent, it's a good night if he sleeps four hours, and he routinely consumes his weight in coffee. Riz has, in fact, been so focused on solving mysteries and puzzles his entire life that his social skills are pretty crap; he doesn't know how to interact with peers all that well, is nervous talking to his friends let alone strangers and often feels lost hanging out if there is no task to perform. He's been working on this, and he's definitely gotten better at this since knowing the other Bad Kids, but he's not, and probably will never be, a regular teen who can just chill out.

He's also murdered several people. It's DnD. It happens.

Looking for:

- More friends, especially ones who he can bond with over having similar experiences (dead dads, being out of step with everybody else, being highly focused on a job, struggles with sexuality, solving mysteries). Please note though that it takes a good while for Riz to genuinely open up about things (he's trying to work on it) so it might take some prying to get to that point.

- Any CR that involves the solving of mysteries or conspiracies. Note that this doesn't have to be positive. A mystery based rivalry would be fun too. Riz is still trying to solve the mystery of the Joys and the Jennies, as well as uncover Team Rocket, so anyone who would be willing to help with that (or work against him) is very much welcome!

- Crimes!!! Like I said, Riz is a private detective in his own world and is continuing his ways here. I know these things can be hard to set up, but if you have a character that is involved in crime (whether as a victim or as a perpetrator) and you want a tiny detective on the case, let me know.
- OH RIGHT. Riz has a budding interest in getting a Type: Null (Or I have this budding interest for him). If anyone has a Null and would like to talk to him about that, that'd be awesome.

Cliffnotes: Okay, so the very short of Armin's world is that he comes from a world where giant human-like monsters called Titans try to eat all of humanity, so they live behind a set of Walls. Several years ago, the outermost wall was breached by Titans (which had been considered impossible before that) and Armin lost his grandpa and was displaced from his home. At twelve he joined the military, and after three years of training, he became a full-fledged soldier and joined the Survey Corps, the branch dedicated to exterminating Titans and uncovering their secrets.

The reason why I am keeping this very short is because, frankly, Armin has been in Victory Road for over five years now, and has a far greater attachment to this world than to his own. Also, a lot of his issues related to his own world have mostly been dealt with, so I'd rather focus on his life here.

In Victory Road, Armin is the current gym leader of the Pelagic Gym, an aurora league gym focused on underwater battling. The gym is located on a small unnamed island in the Sevii Island archipelago, which is also obviously where he lives. Armin is a great lover of all things ocean and water pokemon related. He owns a great number of them, and his gym also has a giant tank that is home to several extinct water pokemon. In addition to all of this, Armin also runs a Lapras breeding project. He has a small pod of Lapras (many inherited from other characters). Once every few months, he breeds a great batch of young Lapras and lets his pod raise them until they are old enough (which, in order to keep things a bit realistic, I'm keeping at six-twelve months) after which he releases them into the wild. This is a project he inherited from a dear friend, and it has somewhat become his life's work along with his gym.

Armin is a gentle, friendly person, who much prefers debate and finding mutual solutions over fighting. He's got a tactician's mind (his greatest asset back home) and a brain that absorbs information like a sponge. He's someone who always loves to learn, whether it is more facts about this world and its pokemon, or about other people and the worlds they come from. He feels that the best way to understand others is to understand the places they are from. He's pretty modest and quick to downplay his own achievements and always ready to answer a question if he can.

He's also freshly engaged and completely head over heels for his now fiancé. And still can't really believe that is happening.

Looking for:
- People who are willing to debate things with him. He has an open mind, but at the same time, very strong convictions on certain subjects. Still, he likes to hear people out where he can.
- Anyone who is willing to teach him anything related to other worlds and cultures or animals/nature. Armin loves the natural world (his great dream was to see the ocean as a child) and he strives to always understand more about other people.
- When Armin was new here, he was taken under the wing of several people who helped him learn the many things he did not know about from his own world. I'd be absolutely delighted if Armin could now be in the position of the teacher. He already tries to reach out and help newcomers with their first questions, but if there is any person who has an interest in the subjects Armin is well versed in (the ocean or water pokemon) or someone who is interested in working with water pokemon or starting their own breeding projects, please, he'd love to help so much!
- Uh. Armin is going to get married at some point. We don't have a date yet, but boy, he has no idea what he is doing here.

Looking for: I am always up for new CR!! Shiro has been here a long time (long enough to where my swiss cheese brain has lost track), and has access to pretty much every town if he's needed somewhere. He has a habit of sticking his neck out for people who look like they need help of any kind, or talking through new arrivals. Currently, he's living out on Sevii Island 4, and working at the Observatory there. But one day, he'd like to build his own gym. So uh, if anyone wants to help with that, he'd be very grateful!

OH HEY I had a thought reading this and I want to get it down lest I forget overnight: Obviously, Boober and Riz already have their CR, but I somehow never really thought about him and Louie, beyond tagging that one recent Riz post with Louie.

But looking at this, if you're up for more CR with Riz and one of mine... I think there's some things to tap into here. Solving mysteries isn't something Louie gets excited about, but he's got keen observation skills and it's certainly something he's done in canon. ~~I mean, it's right in the theme song and everything~~ The big mystery he really got invested in was his missing mother, and while she wasn't dead she was gone for most of his life. While Louie's connection to Della took a positive turn, it still feels very different from Riz's feelings on his own parents... Which makes sense, of course, because the situations and parents themselves are clearly quite different between the two of them.

Also, and obviously we'd get Naem in on this aspect of it, but Louie's friends with Doppio. He thinks something's Up with him, yes, but his mind has certainly not gone to Rocket Member at all. I feel like there's a few ways this could go, if any way at all, but my thought was if Riz ever has reason to find Doppio suspicious, Louie might not take kindly to that!

Man, I went on and on here... TL;DR: I could see this being rocky to negative CR and honestly I'm here for exploring it!

Oh I think Louie needs to interact with a tiny whirlwind of chaos. He's just two years older than Chip, and only freshly so, so that could help with connections, maybe. Louie also has the "Typical Kid for who some very extraordinary things are part of daily life" going on, even if he's more interested in money than most kids might be. He's also not energetic at all, and I'm very interested in him having more CR that is. So I don't know, let me know if that sounds of interest to you!

Cliffnotes: Shadowmaru is an advanced or "Super AI" robot from the "21st Century" Japan. He's considered a stealth unit, and calls himself the "Ninja Detective". He's... really flashy for someone who's supposed to be quiet and stealthy, with his own saxophone theme song. No, seriously. He has A Thing about wolves vs dogs and water-related trauma he does not discuss whatsoever (tl;dr his bestie/BF died in an ocean trench and shadowmaru almost died at sea too). Here in VR he does clothing reviews on Staryutube for a living, and lives in Olivine with a lot of ... dogs... and water types, because I'm a cruel human being.

Looking for: Just about anything, really! He routinely offers up assistance to people before formal events or parties, and rarely goes anywhere without some form of glitter on his person. He can be reclusive, though, and rarely discusses himself or his past beyond "yes I am an AI". He probably needs more friends who will bully him into doing that... honestly...
