CR MEME!

It's been a while since we had one of these, so lets all gather for a nice little CR meme.

Please share your ideas of interactions you'd love your character to have, or plots you are rolling around in your head that might need a few more folks. Is your character looking for a friend? An enemy? A rival? You could find it all here. And remember, the more detailed, the better! We all want all the CR, but specific plans, or at least a specific direction you want to take something in, will really help out everybody involved.

Like before, this CR meme will also include a template specifically geared towards Rocket CR. Please fill it in to let our Rocket members know how you feel about getting your characters involved in some crime.

Name Shadowmaru; sassymaru
Canon: Brave Police: J-Decker

Cliffnotes: Shadowmaru is an advanced or "Super AI" robot from the "21st Century" Japan. He's considered a stealth unit, and calls himself the "Ninja Detective". He's... really flashy for someone who's supposed to be quiet and stealthy, with his own saxophone theme song. No, seriously. He has A Thing about wolves vs dogs and water-related trauma he does not discuss whatsoever (tl;dr his bestie/BF died in an ocean trench and shadowmaru almost died at sea too). Here in VR he does clothing reviews on Staryutube for a living, and lives in Olivine with a lot of ... dogs... and water types, because I'm a cruel human being.

Looking for: Just about anything, really! He routinely offers up assistance to people before formal events or parties, and rarely goes anywhere without some form of glitter on his person. He can be reclusive, though, and rarely discusses himself or his past beyond "yes I am an AI". He probably needs more friends who will bully him into doing that... honestly...

So as I was scrolling through the page I saw this and was suddenly struck with the thought of "what if someone tried to explain to old man from a medieval fantasy world what the heck an 'AI' even is" and now I kind of want to see this happen.

It'd be great because Geddoe has like. absolutely zero preexisting notions about the subject, and no contact with modern tech prior to coming to Johto! So depending on the explanation I could totally see him coming out with an entirely different takeaway than most people would... XD

I just really like this CR? I'm not entirely sure what it is about it, but I enjoy threading with them! And having someone to help her feel more comfortable about wearing clothes just to feel pretty would really help her a lot! She has no idea what an AI is though, but she would be happy to try to get him to open up more about himself.

YES it's been a lot of fun!! I like their threads so far too.

Luisa let him show you his closet full of clothes just to make you feel pretty, please, he would be HAPPY to do so. And probably talk about the whole AI thing in the process.

Honestly yes, she would love to see his closet, she needs to find more pretty clothes that fit her. And yes, she will love to learn what an AI is.

Definitely need more Shadowmaru CR. Allura and Keith are in Ecruteak about now to challenge the gyms there, if you want them to run into each other.
