[When the video feed flicks on, it's shaky and out of focus - but the audio's just fine. The energetic tenor speaking into it enunciates with a distinct British flavor.]

I say, this is a bit of a throwback isn't it?

[Aaaaand the camera finally focuses, revealing - yes, the face of a gentleman. One of the lenses in his spectacles is shattered, but his epic mustache is neatly trimmed and his hat is positioned at just the correct gentlemanly angle.]

While I certainly wasn't expecting to come down with a sudden case of - temporal displacement, I suppose? Things could invariably be worse! Just look at this charming creature!

[That's a sturdy little Roggenrola bouncing cheerfully in the man's prosthetic right hand.]

And I've been led to understand there are hundreds more! I shall be in great need of intrepid volunteers to assist my research in very short order - just as soon as I get my feet under me and some currency in my pockets.

That's basically Sir Hammerlock. He is flush with Pokemon eggs of varying species and is willing to part with one as a reward for an in-person look at whatever 'Mon it is he wants to see.

And what 'Mon does he want to see? For the purposes of this exercise, whatever Poké is convenient to hand.]

Yes I find this world to be at least of some interest. It's not as exciting as ACTUAL bloodsports of course. It does leave something to be desired when it comes to transportation however.
