[Loki did feel a bit sympathy from that, he always found stories to be interesting. Especially if you're able to make up ones on the fly, make it really believable. But none the less.. He gave a smile and gestured to her Absol.]

[Genya turns in an instant. It's hard to call his eyes fiery, considering the state of them. But they are certainly bloodshot, and where there would be eyebrows is pulled down into a terrible glower. He recognizes the flame of the young man's hair, knows that this might be where Master Himejima would caution things like "politeness" and "respect."

Laughable. Besides, this clearly isn't the departed Hashira. He'd heard, somewhere through the grapevine, of a sibling, but...]

What the hell do you want? [He spits towards the ground at Senjuro's feet.] Unless you're going to tell me what's going on around here, you better get out of my way and stay out of it. There's a demon nearby, and I don't need to be protecting some dumb kid while I try to take it out.

[She looks down at her companion again, who chirrs softly--if she had to guess it would be approval? He doesn't seem too mad about it at least. And it's much less awkward than not calling him by anything at all, even if their travels together so far have been quiet.]

[At which his Zorua stretched, sat up and hopped off his lap. Coming over to sniff the Absol curiously. Giving a confident little skip in their step with a giggle.]

[Between the look that could kill and the spitting (what is wrong with him...) Senjuro takes a step or two back, mindful not to step on the critter behind him. The other boy certainly has a chilling air about him. It's a feat for Senjuro to swallow his hesitation and wipe the tears off his face.

Still, his voice is meek, and he looks like he's seconds away from a panic attack.]

You still shouldn't hit a... a creature that did nothing to you...

[For a moment, it looks like he might not. But then he gets to all fours and stretches into a play bow. Cylva smiles.]

It's just been the two of us so far, seems like he's welcoming the change.

[She bends at the waist in a bow herself.]

[Gives a small smile and waves his arm in a half bow as well back.]

[Loki looked down after, watching his Zorua roll around, chattering happily. Hoping around Absol trying to get him to chase her.]

Honestly, this is quite nice for them to play.

Mari and I hadn't a chance outside training like this. Someone other than me to play with is good for her I think.

[Say what? Keith blinked, staring at her for a second.]

Naxzela? [That was... well, years ago for him now. Not for the others, so much, though he didn't realize exactly how much...] Allura... I've been back with Voltron for a while now. We've spoken since then.

You have? But... when? Naxzela was only quintants ago. Last I heard you'd been sent away on another mission. We...

[They hadn't even been able to get a pretending-to-be-fine "hi" otu of him after he'd almost sacrificed himself...]

[Keith was using a small grassy area to train Litten. The small black and red cat-like creature seemed quite happy to keep using Tackle on his trainer, knocking Keith over a few times. However, Keith had recently learned that Littens had fire abilities, so he was trying to get him to learn something that could use fire. Someone had told him that, if he didn't have the money to buy one of those "machine" disks, then the Litten might learn a move by leveling up.

That was what he was trying to do now. At the sound of someone approaching, though, he looked up after catching Litten's latest Tackle move in his arms.]

Uh... I'm kinda new myself, but I'll answer what I can?

[Keith gave him a somewhat confused look. He wasn't used to people asking him questions about things. But, then again, he didn't exactly have a reputation here like he did back home...]

[Yeah, that had been a pretty quick transition, but so much had happened. When they'd taken Lotor into the Castle, Keith had known they'd have their hands busy dealing with that situation, so he'd sort of just let them be. He hadn't wanted to be a distraction. But that meant...]

Oh... [He sighed a little.] I heard a rumor about stuff like this. [He took a breath.] Apparently, people from the same reality can actually be from different points in time. It looks like that's what happened to us.

[A few hours later, there was a bright sounding "Riii!" above and said magnificent cloud bird came into view above the trees. She circled down, gliding to a soft landing nearby, and Romelle hopped off the Altaria's back. She quickly reached into her bag to offer up some berries as a reward for the trip, patting the large bird affectionately.

She then turned to Allura and gave her a soft smile. It was a reverse moment this time, and apparently with much more shock on Allura than Romelle, but she was planning to take things slowly. She walked over.]

Hello. It's good to see you, Princess.

[She'd heart bits and pieces about the flow of time here being disconnected from other realities, but not that rumor. Still, considering everything she's seen so far, she believes it... especially with the changes in Keith's appearance.]

That makes some sense... And you say you're back with Team Voltron?

[She can't help the twinge of hope in her voice. Keith's parting had been mostly on good terms, but she still felt responsible for not doing enough to encourage him to stay, make him feel like he was a good leader, part of her family. And well... she's missed him. They all have.]

[Which, honestly, could really only mean one thing with how Keith felt about that... something had happened to Shiro again. And it showed in Keith's face in more ways than one.

A lot's happened since Naxzela for me... and for Team Voltron. Well, for everyone. I'll answer any questions you have, but... I don't know how much you want to know. [Knowing the future could be bad, right? At least, that's what all the sci-fi stories said.

The change in his demeanor, though, did not go unnoticed by his new partner. The Litten turned from the Vulpix and rubbed his face against Keith's leg for attention. Keith managed a small smile for him, and reached down to pick him up.]

[Ah... he has a point. Still, from what she's gathered so far, it might not impact their timeline at all. In any case, she'll give him a soft smile as she picks up Coressa as well.]

Why don't we find somewhere to sit down? I think it might be close to lunch time, anyway.

[Keith nodded. Honestly, he was still of the mind that Allura needed a break, too. She had said she was okay, but sitting down for a bit at a nearby cafe and just taking a moment to have lunch that wasn't something packed in their bags by that fake Mom would be good for both of them.]

Yeah... that sounds good. I think there's a place we can do that nearby.

[Keith had come across a few trainers on the road, too, who'd been willing to battle, so he had some extra cash.]

I can get lunch for us.

[Not that he didn't think Allura had been able to battle for her own cash, but he was willing to be the Team Leader for the moment and take care of his teammate if she needed the help.]

Are you sure? I do have some funds as well?

[Not enough where a spa trip doesn't seem wasteful, but enough that she can at least split the bill. Plus, of course, it's common courtesy to make sure of these kinds of offers.]

I mean, I don't mind. [Keith shrugged a little.] It's up to you. [He tilted his head for her to come with him as he started heading for the café in question.] It's not a crazy expensive place or anything.

[A slight pause... and then a soft smile and nod as she follows him.]

Then... thank you, Keith. [Her smile quirks in amusement.] It will help that you likely know what the food items actually are.

[Amazing as Hunk was at adapting alien ingredients to human recipes, she sorely doubts she has a proper grasp on Earth cuisine. (Especially after the incident with Kaltanecker...) Half the items in the bento had looked unfamiliar but very thankfully all of them were edible.]
