That's good. So, how long have you been here? You sound kind of like it's been a while.

Route 29!!!

Hermione had promised an egg delivery to someone somewhere along Route 29, and was currently atop her Altaria, winging it just above the treetops along the route, scanning.

She spots someone resting with his pokemon, but it's hard to determine if this was the buyer she was looking for. Well, better go check to be sure.

She leans in close to Nimbus so he can hear her. "Down there Nimbus."

Nimbus chirps and banks, coming down low to land a short distance away, kicking up some dust as he settles.

"Hi there!" she calls out, sliding off the Altaria. "Were you waiting for a...."

Wait. She recognises that messy hair. It can't be, right?

"Harry?"

[He stops for a moment, eyebrows going high with surprise. This guy... Maybe he's a truly good guy after all?]

Thanks! I still know so little about this place that I must be making a lot of trouble with it. Like, this whole stealing pokemon thing... I don't really get it, but I do see that it makes people unhappy so I'd love to help with that if I can! It's the best way of proving that I'm not bad like everybody thinks, too! I'm Ryou, by the way! Ryou Bakura!

[He offers a hand for a shake and- Sorry, but the Vulpix is hijacking the handshake.]

Yeah, I think most people in any world get pretty mad if their beloved pets are stolen.

[He does have to chuckle at the Vulpix getting into the handshake. He reaches to shake the cute paw.]

Well, I just arrived a few hours ago: just trying to figure all the Trainer things out for quite some. The last thing I remember before waking up in here was repairing something back in my world.

Just moments ago, Harry was looking after his Rowlet and Sentret napping on either side of him while the Skitty runs about as she chases her tail like it was a toy. And then he hears a voice politely asking if he would want to get something from her, followed up by said voice saying his name.

As he lifts his head up, his jaws drop upon seeing a familiar face.

“Hermione?”

Wow, you're really productive! And you're settling in fast. It took me longer.

[Despite knowing of Pokemon games from his world, he hadn't planned on being thrown into one and had freaked out about it for a time.]

(When you got some lessons of Care for Magical Creatures, there are some things that he could use to help his team, which he did.)

Well, I did use what I learned from a subject about looking after the creatures in my world to helping my team out.

[Thancred is still very puzzled by this whole business- how did he arrive here, and who was that- but, well. Time to adjust this this world, and figure out what they're all about here- and for now, that means working out what to make of his new partner. The Rockruff seems patient enough to wait for a command, sitting with tail wagging.]

Well- let's see what you can do. Show me- [this is so very strange, and if he's honest he doesn't much like the idea of having something else fight for him, but-] A Tackle?

[The Rockruff barks and gets up, but- his idea of a tackle appears to be slobbering all over his pants. Thancred… puts a hand down on the Rockruff's head, pushing it back gently.]

…we'll work on that.

[So- certainly this area seems as though enough people come past, if the presence of tour guides is any- well, guide, but call Thancred curious all the same. He's looking for anyone nearby, ready to approach them.]

[ You know, it wasn't just a coincidence Minfilia was back here. She'd decided to let her twin Meowstic come visit their home - but she freezes when she hears a familiar voice.

Before her eyes begin to tear up a little. She tries not to, of course. Before suddenly rushing up, jumping off of her mount Pokemon.

She's missed him. More then she'd like to admit, even if something feels. Weird. ] Thancred--?!

[Well- he has new clothes, but that’s probably not so unexpected. It could be the way he’s holding himself- the self-assurance in his stance less cocky, and more earned. Or that he lets his shock show openly for a few moments, before he smiles- surprised and confused, but also heartened and glad.]

Minfilia-? You’re here, too? Dare I assume you arrived the same way?

[But how, he can’t help wondering- noting, too, she doesn’t look as he last remembers seeing her. He steps closer, the Rockruff matching him, curious about this new person and the Pokémon with her.]

Waking with one who claims to be family, before being thrusted out into another land? Yes. [ But there's a gentleness to how she says that. Almost... a relief?

She gives a small wave at the Rockruff, before her expression grows a little harder to read, looking at Thancred. ] That was a few moons ago.

Cool. That's really great that helped you! ... Uh, what kinds of creatures are in your world?

[Saying "creatures" instead of "animals" makes him think it may be different from the kind in his world.]

Magical creatures or creatures that most people think are fictional or mythical. I have encountered the likes of Hippogriffs, Thestrals, Unicorns, Kneazles - just to name a few.

[crystalmaster]

I haven't heard of Thestrals or Kneazles. What are those?

[Radley's sweet Eevee sees new friends and rushes over. "Vee-vee-vee!"

Radley hurries after her, chuckling.]

Sorry, she does that with everyone.

Thestrals are these skeletal looking horses with bat like wings and faces similar to dragons. They are also very intelligent and very loyal to whoever they consider as friends. Back in my world, only people who have seen death can see them as they usually stay invisible from anybody who hasn’t seen death and they are seen as omens of death in my world. Very handy in getting you to places too.

As for Kneazles, they are cat like creatures and very intelligent as well. Not to mention very independent and sometimes aggressive towards some people. They have this ability to detect suspicious and untrustworthy individuals. I actually know of a friend who owns a Kneazle hybrid in my world.

Thestrals sound creepy-looking but really cool.

[He would be able to see them, too.]

Kneazles sound a lot like kitties. Those would be useful to have around!

Oh yes, they are pretty handy in plenty of situations.

(He has met and befriended many fantastical creatures thro7h the years. Oh wait, he almost forgot about introducing himself and has not gotten the other man’s name.)

Oh by the way, I almost forgot to introduce myself. My name is Harry, Harry Potter, but just Harry will be fine by me. I’m originally from England, but I was in Scotland before I arrived in this world.

Hi, Harry. I'm Radley. I've always wanted to visit the United Kingdom! I wonder if we're from the same Earth? People have been telling me there's a lot of Earths in different dimensions.

[He relaxes, a little.] Well. It’s certainly good to know it wasn’t a unique experience- but who is she?

[The Rockruff wags his tail, clearly thrilled, and bounds forward, stopping just in front of Minfilia with one paw up to ask for petting. Thancred shakes his head, squatting to put a hand on his head.]

Patience, now. [He looks up at Minfilia, observing her- looking for how she’s changed.] That’s some time to be in a new place. How has it treated you?

[The Rockruff perks up, with a "Ruff", and bounds over, doing a play-bow, tail wagging. Friend??

Thancred shakes his head, but offers a smile, turning towards the two of them.]

It's quite alright- we've just been getting our feet under us. [Well, mostly him, admittedly.] And she certainly seems friendly. Have you been together long?

She is. We've been together several months now. I can't imagine life without her.

[Radley smiles.]

I'm Radley. I named her Evie, which wasn't too creative, but she seems to like it.

I’m also wondering about that as well: maybe we do live in the same Earth, it’s just that we didn’t know the other had existed before today.

(It sounds like a possibility, though he is uncertain at the moment. The whole different Earth part is still pretty new to him and he has to get his footimg on this world.)

Just one of the mysteries of this star, I assume.

[ But Minfilia squats down as well! She's clearly more buff... but she looks so, so much like she did before. ] This land has been peaceful. Nice. Even if there have been some issues - but what land doesn't have them?
