Oof-! I gotta come up with names for them. I was thinkin of naming one after my dad but he ain't really a 'dog'. He's a seal. Which is kind of a water dog but you ain't allowed to say that cos it's kinda insulting. I mean nobody calls dogs 'land-seals'.

_{[He laughs as the Pokemon tumble over him. TIME 2 HELP.]}

[The last thing Elsa wants to do is talk her sister out of experiencing something new, even if it means worrying for a few more days.]

[And the feed cuts out. Anna puts Stripes down and stands on her toes to see if it was easier to see the place Elsa described. Not that it helps, but hey, whatever makes Anna feel better at the moment. When she sees it, she takes off.

Elsa, you may want to brace yourself for your little sister throwing herself at you.]

Oh, it's a special kind of analog camera. But... department stores, huh? I guess it's possible. They're usually more of a specialty item, but I'll try to make my way over to one. Thanks.

You a Spike, mate? [ He asks the Riolu directly. Who thinks, then shakes his head. ]

How'd you name your ones? You got some too, right?

Well, I'm not that familiar with cameras, but the department stores do tend to carry a rather extensive collection of goods in general. And if not, there might be other places in the city that do.

[Elsa can never fully brace herself for Anna's hugs, but at the very least, they don't topple over! And boy, Anna may be a good hugger, but Elsa now... she's practically clinging to Anna, focusing for just a few minutes on the feeling of having her sister here again...]

Anna... gosh, I can't tell you how good it is to see you in person again!

[Anna doesn't let got for quite a few minutes. A week away from Elsa had been strange after their reunion back home. She pulls away enough to smile at her sister, looking a little nervous.]

Still can't believe I was here before but I don't remember it.

[The image, at first, is upside down, but Asami is quick to correct this with a small intrigued sound.]

This is incredible. [Though larger, more mechanical creations are more of her thing. Gloved fingers accidentally brush over the screen, temporarily hiding green eyes narrowed in concentration.] How does it do all of this?

[There's a muffled 'vulpix' from somewhere off screen and that seems to bring the young woman back to focus, her look of focus replaced with one of surprise.]

Oh, is it on? Am I on the... [She pauses, carefully sounding out the words:] PokéGear Connect?

[The lack of response makes her feel a little foolish, but if this is her only option...]

My name's Asami Sato, and I'm trying to find someone- her name's Korra. We were travelling together before I woke up here, and I just thought- I don't know where she could have gone.

[There's definitely a hint of some sort of sadness to her tone, loneliness even.]

If anyone has met her, or knows of a way I can contact her, I'd really- [Another pause.] -appreciate it.

[On one hand, it was a relief that the Spirit World was not New Bark Town- Asami's first reaction upon analyzing her surroundings had been nothing short of disappointment. On the other hand, New Bark Town and by extension Johto was not the Spirit World. And not where Asami was supposed to be.

And Korra wasn't there.

Asami liked to think herself resourceful in a crisis, but even this was above her.

She sat off to the side of the crowd gathered around the old man in the center of the town, wrapped a coat she had found but didn't remember packing, the device called a pokegear in her hand. A Vulpix perches next to her, poised and elegant with its nose tilted up just so; she's still not quite sure what to make of that.

Occasionally she looks up, green eyes scanning the crowd, as if she's looking for someone in particular. When she doesn't see what she's looking for she lets out a disappointed sigh and returns to fussing with the pokegear.]

If it helps, I've never heard of a place called Pandora. I don't think we're in any real danger here.

[This place is certainly bizarre, but Asami is pretty confident that whatever brought them here isn't trying to torture them. Well, the music is starting to get annoying.]

What about this place is familiar to you? Do you think you've been here before?

[Not to put pressure on the visibly stressed stranger, but Asami isn't too keen on staying here herself. For now she'll ignore the remark about squatting with infants.]

They could be your starter pokemon- that's why they're following you around.

[Asami's not sure what 'starter pokemon' means exactly, but she's gleaned some basic information from her pokegear and the man called Professor Oak.]

Why do you want to trade it?

[....oh. Oh.]

[It's almost too good to be true. It's not like Korra hasn't thought about it, one day just flipping on the network and seeing Asami...but it actually happening? She scrambles to flip the reply button, not caring that she's a mess from training, her furret draped over her shoulders. She's all grins as she presses the button.]

Found me.

[Asami's face visibly brightens, her excitement and relief at finding someone familiar- and that someone being Korra- obvious.]

Korra!

[She nearly stands up, as if Korra had appeared right in front of her, but she wills herself to remain seated. Her fingers anxiously fidgeting with the pokegear, trying to put what she'd rather be a hug into words.]

I'm so... glad you're here. [That's putting it lightly.] Where are you? Are you in New Bark Town?

[... Oh. Oh! Oh wow, that's a face she thought she'd never see again. One of her closest friends that she's missed for ages, the friend who helped her so much, the friend she...!

Wait okay no. No. She's not going to even think about that now. Especially when it seems like Asami has no memories of her last time here.

She tries not to let her disappointment at that show.]

Don't worry, Korra is here. And if I know her, she's likely already on her way to you now.

[....well look at that. And just when Jack thought the influx of bandit assholes had stopped. Welp, time to mess with the dickhead!]

[Asami's at first relieved to hear that Korra was was indeed here, but there's something about this stranger's response that bothers her.]

If you know her? I'm sorry, have we met before?

[This woman isn't familiar to Asami, and Korra may be sociable but to make a friend here so quickly?

Korra had only been here as long as Asami, right?]

[... Ah, yeah. She knew that was coming, but it still hits her as hard as a shot to the heart. To her credit, her smile only falters very briefly!

Because damn if there's one person who knows how to best repress emotions, it's Elsa.]

I, ah... I know you won't believe believe me, but you were here once before, and we did know each other. [Aha...] And Korra is a good friend of mine.

[It feels like it's been forever, even if it's only been a year. They've been apart longer. But...it's different, now.]

Uh...not exactly, I'm out in Mahogany. But I can get to New Bark really quick.

[She has to pause to mull that over.]

You're right, I don't believe you. I think I'd remember a place like this.

[The stranger doesn't seem malicious, but Asami can feel herself growing wary. She pauses before asking in a quiet, almost sheepish tone:]

This is definitely not the Spirit World, right?

[Asami wasn't sure what to expect when she walked through that portal; maybe bizarre music from nowhere and amnesia were part of the experience.]

Mahogany?

[Hold on while Asami tries to find the map on her gear. If Korra can get here fast it must be nearby, maybe Asami can...

Oh. Mahogany is definitely not nearby. The confusion is clear on her face, but she decides to wait until Korra gets here before she asks any questions. How did Korra get so far away so fast?]

Okay, I'll be waiting near route twenty-nine.

[She bites back the urge to ask Korra to hurry.]

Yeah. It's a little hard to explain...

[Because Asami clearly doesn't remember her previous stay here. But Korra knew that was a possibility, she's been here long enough to know how all this works.]

[She's not about to end the call while she makes her way to the warp pad at the Center. She's still not entirely sure this isn't all some waking dream or weird thing that happens sometimes. There's this fear that if she hangs up, that's it.]

I know this is going to sound really weird, but I've actually been here a long time. Uh, what's the last thing you remember before waking up here?
